The Spoon Rules, update often.

Rules and Such:
Any rule breaking will be met with a warning from IAmSp00n or an admin. After the first warning, the next offense may result in an immediate ban and removal of your existence on the server. There will be no debating or undoing after the initial discussion of the rule breaking. Don't poke the bear and be respectful to the effort put into the server.

Also, some of these rules may or may not apply depending on server updates, map, patches to the game, etc.

There will be an automated server restart every "morning" at 8AM Central (9AM Eastern, 7AM Mountain, 6AM Pacific). The server automatically saves every 15 minutes, so please prepare appropriately for the restart. You could lose 15 minutes of progress if you continue working or taming the closer it gets to 8AM. Should a whitelist be enabled on the server, this is also when new members will be able to join.

-PvP-
-No raiding or PvP is allowed outside of the 'Hunting Grounds' PvP zone located on the island south of the red obelisk.
-Dinosaurs are not to be used in PvP at all. Player weapons, tools, and abilities only. Leave your dinosaurs outside the gates.
-No building inside of the PvP zone.
-Rockets can NOT be used during PvP.
-Shock darts can NOT be used during PvP.
-No returning to the PvP zone if you are killed. Your weapons and gear is forfeit.
-Turrets set to shoot players or tamed dinos are not allowed. Set them to wild animals ONLY.
-No shooting at other players' dinosaurs from inside the PvP zone. Flyers above, parked outside, or in the distance are off limits.
Events will happen throughout the week for gear, blueprints, and resources. "Teaming" inside the PvP zone isn't really something that can be controlled, so try and prepare for that as much as possible any time you enter it. However, Teams and Tribes will be forced to fly solo during events.

-Building-
-No uber structures. Build in a way that is respectful to the server. If your build is too big, an admin may ask you to downsize.
-Build respectfully and friendly to your neighbors. If you're concerned about building too close to someone, ask them. This also includes building in a way that blocks off travel for another person. Don't block off rivers or pathways.
-Official community builds should only be constructed by admins. This is mainly in reference to any larger projects or resource buildings.
-Clean up your trash. Do not leave taming pens or taming spikes throughout the island.
-No building in resource areas or caves (unless just a sleeping bag). The volcano mountain and penguin areas are off limits.
-No gate or spike walls. They're ugly, lazy, and laggy. Only use them temporarily while you set up an actual wall.
-Foundation or pillar spam to claim an area is not allowed. Neighbors will sometimes happen. Make friends or build walls.
-No more than two "bases" per tribe/person. One main base, and a smaller base elsewhere.
-Do not block off drops. If you see a drop spawn near you, don't close it in. Leave some kind of opening for players to get to it.
-When using ECO mods for decoration (mainly plant life), please stick to using things that fit the terrain. No snowy trees in the desert, no giant redwood trees out of place, etc. Again, be respectful to the server and keep it looking not poopy.

-Other Rules-
-Be respectful to every member on the server. Streamers, subscribers, and friends will be joining and enjoying.
- No griefing or altering others' builds or dinosaurs without their approval.
-This is not an RP server, but you can RP if you want to. Keep in mind that other people may not be RPing, so don't force them into it or force conversation with them. If they ask you to leave them alone, don't make a thing of it.
-Dinosaur limits will be enforced. Try not to have a large amount of dinosaurs. They can't be used for PvP, so having an excessive amount isn't necessary anyway. Let's assume the soft limit is 30 dinosaurs per tribe. Since a recent ARK update, these limits are actually controlled by the server settings.
-No complaining, whining, or arguing about rules, players, or situations on the server in global chat. If you have an issue or concern, please discuss it privately with an admin or a Twitch mod.
-No glitching or in game exploits for personal gain. Carrying your dinosaur on top of a platform saddle to gather large amounts of resources without the penalty of weight is not allowed.
-Do not leave your tames on aggressive. Put them in a wall and leave them on neutral or passive. Play it smart and safe.
-Loot drops should belong to the first person there. If you arrive after someone has already "claimed" it, it belongs to them. You can share the drop if the other party likes, but this should avoid hostile situations happening on the server.

-Suggestions-
-Joining a tribe forfeits dinosaurs and builds to be claimed by you. They are now shared by the tribe. If you decide to leave the tribe later on, you won't be able to claim structures as yours and take them with you. Dinosaurs can be unclaimed and taken with you, but make sure you discuss it with the rest of the tribe first. Leaving the tribe and taking things with you should ONLY be done when it's something the rest of the tribe agrees on. For this reason, it may be better/easier to fly solo on the server. Also, if you plan on creating a tribe JUST for yourself, please do that before you build anything, as it may not bring your structures or dinosaurs with you when you do create your tribe.
-If you or one of your dinosaurs accidentally kills another player or their dino, offer a replacement and/or get their stuff back for them. Accidents happen on ARK. Everyone knows this. So be kind and understanding with each other. It will help out in the long run.
