  1. >Moonlight proudly nodded “Yup! And you can be sure that he’s not gonna bother anypony else, anymore, and if he does… just call me and I’ll remind him what happens when you step out of the line.”
  2. >Sunny Hill waved her hoof dismissively “Oh, if the princesses accept your proposition, then I’m sure that won’t be necessary. I’m quite positive that THE General of the Guard will be able to bring the order that our prestigious school has sorely needed lately.”
  3. >”Well, it’s not like I can do this alone, you know? I will need somepony here who makes sure that there are no lazy ponies bringing down the whole thing”
  4. >”Worry not, Mss. Moonlight. Now that Mr. Tanner’s threat is gone and Bill has learned that valuable lesson. I’ll do my best to ensure that the slackers in this school pick up the job… and I’m not afraid to get a little tough if it’s necessary”
  5. >Moonlight chuckled as she pointed Sunny Hill with her hoof “Alright! I like that attitude! And you know what? Maybe I can give you some tips on how to really make sure that ponies do what you want, when you want. Not really saying that you need them but…” Moonlight shrugged “I mean, if my methods have worked with dragons and griffons, I can’t see why they wouldn’t work with some smartflank teachers”
  6. >”Ooooh! I can’t wait for that!” Sunny Hill giggled before turning to you “Ah! Mr. Anon! There you are! I hope that by now you have dispelled all your fears in regards of what your classmates think about you”
  7. “Yeah! I did! But… uh… I feel like I need to apologize to you too, Sunny Hill. Y’know, for blowing up our chance at winning the election… the chance that you worked so hard to get us”
  8.
  9. >Sunny Hill profusely nodded “Apology accepted, Mr. Anon” The she gave you a stern look “I just hope you are ready for all the extra homework I will give you from here until the school year is over”
  10. >You rolled your eyes and let out a groan
  11. “Sure, why not. It’s not like I’m not used to it”
  12. >”Good, because on top of your normal homework, you will also have to write a two thousand word long essay on what you learned from this “incident”, as well as your experiences with the younger students of this school… Oh! And before I forget, you shall also prepare an exposition about the story of the Acceleratio spell which will be complimented with a practical demonstration for the class”
  13. >”Acceleratio?” Moonlight raised an eyebrow “Isn’t that spell a bit too advanced for a colt his age? Or any age, actually… Most of my unicorn troops have troubles with that one”
  14. >”I’m fully aware that Acceleratio is a very advanced spell, Mss. Moonlight. My justification is that Mr. Anon has proved that he is more than capable to cast spells that most unicorns -even graduates from this school- can’t even dream to achieve. Take me for example, I certainly can’t teleport, cast shields or immobilizing spells on the level that Mr. Anon can”
  15. >Moonlight simply shrugged after hearing that “Gotta admit, you have a point there. The colt is better at magic than most of my guys.” She then turned to you “Well, little dude, you heard the lady. You and Moon Dancer will have to study extra hard”
  16. >Feeling completely cornered and without any real option to make a comeback, you let out a grunt.
  17. “Great…”
  18. >”Glad to see that you are becoming more cooperative, Mr. Anon.” Sunny Hill nodded victoriously, as she turned away from you “Now if you excuse me, I have a class to impart. See you next week, Mr. Anon”
  19.
  20. >You could swear that Sunny Hill was silently laughing at you, but… there was nothing you could do… for now.
  21. >After you walked out of the school with Moonlight. You took this opportunity to… well… thank her for saving your sorry flank.
  22. “Hey Moonlight… I… I know you really didn’t have to come here but I’m really glad that you did. Seriously, I have no idea what would have happened if you hadn’t been with me”
  23. >”Oh, don’t thank me just yet.” Moonlight glanced at you with a stare that sent a chill down your spine “We still have the matter of your punishment…”
  24. “P-Punishment? You’re joking, right? Please, tell me you are joking!”
  25. >”Nope!” Moonlight cheerfully shook her head “But don’t worry, little dude. Because you won’t suffer it alone.” From her saddlebag, Moonlight produced a small note and handed it to you “Take a look”
  26. >Using your magic, you held the note close to your face. It was written with a highly stylized calligraphy, and while your swollen eye made it a bit difficult to read, it wasn’t nothing that you could not handle.
  27. >The note read as follow “Dear Mss. Shadow. Please, excuse the haste in which this new has come to you. We are very aware of how busy you are and what your job represents for the safety of our beloved kingdom. With the apologies out of the way, we regret to inform you that your daughter. CHERRYWOOD BELLEMARE. Has been involved in yet another dispute with a group of students. Given the frequency of these incidents, we do not deem as necessary to inform you on what your daughter’s penalty shall be. Nor do we need to state that the foals that harassed her will be also harshly penalized. Please come and pick her up as soon as you can.”
  28. “Cherrywood got into a fight too?! Really?!”
  29. >It was… creepily coincidental but totally awesome at the same time! Now she won’t have any moral high ground to stand on when she sees your swollen eye because she was as much of a dummy as you!
  30.
  31. >Moonlight let out a tired sigh. She placed her hoof on her forehead and gently shook her head “Yes, my daughter got into trouble… again. I have no idea why she has such a bad temper but… well, that’s how my Cherry is”
  32. >You didn’t reply to that, instead you only looked at Moonlight completely baffled by what she said
  33. >She then looked at you with a faint smile on her face “Yes, I know. I’m not the greatest example… it can also be a family thing though. You still haven’t my mother but man, I’ve never met an angrier mare than her”
  34. “Wel… uh… I suppose that I’ll see that when that meeting with your mom happens, right?”
  35. >Moonlight let out a groan as she gently shook her head ”Ugh… don’t remind me of that, please. My mother is taking this to a whole new level…” You saw her tense up and growling beneath her breath “Like wanting to invite my ex…”
  36. >Moonlight’s face distorted into pure anger for a brief moment before she regained her composure “Just… don’t bring that up, okay?”
  37. >You flinched out of fear as your eyes wide opened. The only thing you could do was to frantically nod and mustter
  38. “A-Alright”
  39. >”Good, now let’s go. We have to go to Cherry’s school to pick her up, then I need to drop you by…” Moonlight produced another note from her saddlebag and gave it a quick glance “Lemme see… Doughnut Joe’s Donut store? Man, that Twilight Sparkle may be a Princess but I’ll be darned if she ain’t still a filly.”
  40. “Oh yeeeeaaaaah… I totally forgot that I had to meet with Twilight to go to that opening stuff that Rarity is doing”
  41.
  42. >”Yup!” Moonlight nodded “Hopefully Twilight Sparkle will help you with that swollen eye. I’ve read the element of generosity’s profile and she really likes to surround herself with those lame high class ponies so I’m sure that you looking like a little thug won’t help her at all”
  43. >You let out a little chuckle and replied in a sarcastic tone
  44. “Those high class ponies can bite my…”
  45. >”Careful, little dude…” Moonlight shot you a little glare “You’re in enough trouble right now, you don’t want me to tell Luna that you’ve been also saying stuff that no foal should say, right?”
  46. >You flinched again and the shook your head frantically
  47. “N-No! I wasn’t going to say anything wrong! I swear!”
  48. >”Good, now hurry up, those snobbish, flank sniffin’ jerks that Cherry has for teachers always get grumpy when somepony arrives late”
  49. >You and Moonlight walked across the beautiful snowy streets of Canterlot until you arrived at a magnificent building that resembled… your school but with a much higher budget.
  50. >The whole thing was white with golden details on the windows and even the frickin’ couple towers that it had. The crimson giant doors had beautiful engravings of ponies reading scrolls and hearing lectures from their older peers.
  51. >”Impressed?” Moonlight asked with a playful tone.
  52. “Mate, that’s like the biggest understatement of the century! I…I don’t even know where to begin! How did you… y’know?”
  53. >Seriously, it was absolutely breath taking. As much as you hated to admit it, you couldn’t feel anything other but pure jealousy towards Cherrywood, because c’mon, how comes that your mothers didn’t send you to this school.
  54.
  55. >Sure, you had friends in your school, very good friends and they liked you… but c’mon, this place looked awesome!
  56. >”What?” Moonlight raised an eyebrow at you “Oh… you mean how I managed to get Cherry enrolled into this gaudy joke?”
  57. “You… don’t seem very fond of this school”
  58. > Moonlight let out a tired sigh ”That’s because I ain’t. The only reason why I got Cherry here is because my ex is friend with the owner… and when I asked Luna and Princess Celestia to move Cherry to your school, which by the way is way better than this flank sniffing parade, my mother insisted super hard that I kept Cherry here… something about showing our family’s status and other bunch of garbage”
  59. “Garbage? I dunno, Moonlight… this place looks pretty awesome to me”
  60. >”Y’know, maybe I’ll follow the example of that teacher of yours.”
  61. “A-Are you gonna give me extra homework?!”
  62. >”Nah… I was thinking about the showing rather than telling stuff… but now you gave me the idea to make my obstacle courses even harder, so thank you for that, little dude!”
  63. “That’s just… geez, I can’t gather enough sarcasm to think on a comeback for that”
  64. >”And I thank Celestia for that. Now move those hooves of yours. Cherry is waiting for us”
  65. >Moonlight knocked on the crimson door. A pony dressed like a butler immediately opened it and with a quick glance, he motioned the two of you to pass.
  66. >As you and Moonlight followed the butler, you took notice of your environment and… yeah, this place was even more spectacular on the inside
  67.
  68. >Holy molly! This whole place could give the castle a run for its money… even if it was a bit too gaudy. The golden walls, and white ceiling had a bunch of engravings and the floor was covered by a super thick red carpet.
  69. >Even the doors and lockers were highly stylized. Geez, you only can imagine how many bits were poured into building this school… and how expensive it must be to enroll someone here.
  70. >When you reached the principal’s office your awe died off a bit, while the fact that there was a giant lobby that led into the office itself was impressive, you weren’t a fan of the eastern style of this particular place. It clashed horribly with what you’ve seen so far.
  71. >The door that led to the actual principal’s office… well, it was almost a replica of the throne’s room doors from the castle, except that these ones had a
  72. >That one was was located on the extreme opposite from where you were, with sliding doors located on the right and left sides of the lobby.
  73. >You didn’t pay any attention on this, instead you were focus on the big name engraved with super stylized golden letters in the principal’s office door
  74. “Ms. Gwynyvere?”
  75. >”Yup” Moonlight nodded “That’s the name of the griffon who calls the shots here”
  76. >Oh… wait…
  77. “The principal is a griffon?!”
  78. >”Yeah, from what I have heard, the gal came from Griffinstone and made it big here, why? You don’t like griffons or something?”
  79. “I…uh… I don’t know many Griffons…. But the one I met was kind of a jerk”
  80. >”Oh yeah, Cherry told me about that, some guy nicknamed blue claw” Moonlight smirked “Don’t worry, I sent prenchie to teach that dude some manners a while ago. Now, I’m gonna go to Gwyn’s office”
  81. “And what about me… and what about Cherrywood?”
  82. >Moonlight pointed with her hoof at a little sliding door on the right wall of the big lobby ”You see that door that says “waiting room-A”?”
  83.
  84. “Yeah?”
  85. >”Well, they usually send Cherry there. So do your job as her special somepony and cheer her up while I talk with Ms. Gwyn, alright?”
  86. “You don’t have to tell me that, I was planning on making Cherrywood happy, but…eh… I still have another question. What do I do if she ain’t in that room?”
  87. >Moonlight rolled her eyes as she walked past you and towards the principal’s office “Then you check the other doors. They all are waiting rooms”
  88. >Without giving you a chance to reply back. Moonlight entered the office, leaving you alone in this giant, empty lobby… yay.
  89. >Well, whatever, you walked to that sliding eastern door and after a bit of struggling with it thanks how the dang thing worked, you decided to open it with your magic, causing the door to slide to the left side with a loud slam!.
  90. >Huh… the place was nice, it was more like a normal living room with couches tea tables and…
  91. “Ch-Ch-Cherrywood?”
  92. >Your bat was sitting on a couch, her face was displaying a mix of frustration and annoyance. The thing that completely caught your attention was how she was dressed.
  93. >Cherrywood was wearing this cute red sweater with an insignia on the right side of the chest, and some cute white patterns on the sleeves… and a skirt for some reason
  94. >And her mane… sweet Scott! Her mane! It wasn’t messy anymore! Instead she had this cute style where part of her mane covered her right eye and…
  95. >”Anonny?” Cherrywood said with enormous surprise “What the hay are you doing here?! Who told you to come here?! I swear, if this was a prank by my mom… OH, GOSH! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR EYE?! IT LOOKS LIKE A GHOUL’S BLIMP!”
  96. >You tried to say something, anything, but every word that came out of your mouth was a jumbled mess. You couldn’t think straight, your legs were trembling, your heart was racing a mile per hour and you felt your face getting super warm.
  97. >Oh yeah… and there was another filly in the room… who said something… but who cares about her when you just felt in love again?
