  5. TAGS: [M4A][F4A][A4A] ~ Taking My Sweetie to Paris ~ [romantic] [airplane setting] [sharing a blanket] [sweet] [small talk] [whispers] [traveling to my favorite city] [snuggles]
  6. OPTIONAL TAG: [BFE] or [GFE]
  7.
  8. PREMISE: The speaker snuggles under an airplane blanket with the listener, talks about the places they’ll visit at their destination, and eventually drifts off to sleep. I cue some optional kisses in the script; feel free to make more or less romantic, as you like.
  9.
  10. PACING/TONE: It's quiet time on the airplane. You're speaking in low tones or whispers, with *lots* of pauses in between, soft chuckles... small-talk vibe. Please feel free to version this in another language. If you have an accent, don’t forget to tag that.
  11.
  12. NOTE ON VERSIONING: Please feel free to use this as a CYOD (Choose your own destination) script! I offered some touristic details on Paris. Performers can add their own details, or even substitute with another destination and improvise your own local details! *Just remember to change the city in the title if you change the destination.*

  16. SCRIPT: "Taking My Sweetie to Paris" (SFW)
  17.
  18. [Optional SFX: airplane seat belt chime. Optional airplane ambience background]
  19.
  20. [insistent whisper] Babe... baby! Can you share your blanket with me?
  21.
  22. It’s *freezing* on this airplane…
  23.
  24. Yes… yeah, I have mine… but I’m freezing. And I asked them for another one, but they don’t have any more because this plane is full.
  25.
  26. You’re barely even using yours. Just open it up and put the whole thing over us. What’s the big deal… Please? (chuckle)
  27.
  28. Don’t be such a crank. (gentle voice) We’re going to Paris. You should be happy.
  29.
  30. [optional SFX: rustle of blanket being unfolded.]
  31.
  32. Thank you… Oh, so much better, my God. Freezing… (sigh)… Sorry I woke you.
  33.
  34. [PAUSE]
  35.
  36. Hmm?... ah, you know I can never sleep on these things. I’m listening to something…
  37.
  38. (chuckle) *Maybe* I’m listening to sexy audios… helps to pass the time.
  39.
  40. (another small chuckle) Well… I don’t make fun of you when you listen to yours.
  41.
  42. [PAUSE]
  43.
  44. (slow, almost drowsy voice)
  45. I was reading this article a while ago, about all the crazy things that flight attendants see…
  46.
  47. There were some really crazy stories.
  48.
  49. Like what?
  50.
  51. Well… like, you know how… people think that when they play the “Mile High Club” game, the flight attendants aren’t wise to it?
  52.
  53. They’re totally wise to it.
  54.
  55. Well, it was an article of, like, 15 things that different flight attendants have seen… crazy stuff.
  56.
  57. Like people shaving in their seats and whatnot (small laugh) … just really funny things.
  58.
  59. But, um, I guess the one attendant who talked about… you know… witnessing couples getting it on...
  60.
  61. She was, like... “you know what, if they’re discreet, depending on my mood, I’ll turn a blind eye.”
  62.
  63. It’s only when they’re making too much noise … or… being very exhibitionist, being too obvious about it, right? Then she’ll say something.
  64.
  65. But… yeah... That’s what she said. (quiet laugh)
  66.
  67. Hmm? You wanna lift this armrest?
  68.
  69. What’s on your mind?
  70.
  71. Oh yeah, a little spoony spoon? Some pillowtalk…? OK, then...
  72.
  73. Don’t get any ideas, though. The flight attendants on this plane look pretty strict. (low chuckle)
  74.
  75. (Optional SFX like shifting in seat)
  76.
  77. There. (optional SFX like adjusting blanket) Oh, that’s so nice.
  78.
  79. (Pause as if snuggling, getting comfy.)
  80.
  81. So, how excited are you for our holiday?
  82.
  83. I’m thrilled to show you around Paris for your first time.
  84.
  85. So much to see and do there. But honestly, sometimes I just like to sit at a café and people-watch.
  86.
  87. Yeah... people always dress so nicely. It’s like a little private fashion show.
  88.
  89. I know (chuckle)... sounds lame. But don’t forget, I’ve been there quite a few times for work.
  90.
  91. But for your first time, we’ll do more than that, I promise. We can play tourist together.
  92.
  93. The first thing is try to speed through the airport as quickly as possible. Charles de Gaulle (or “CDG”) is a huge airport.
  94.
  95. We can easily lose a couple of hours there if we don’t pay attention.
  96.
  97. And then... we’ll hop in a cab…
  98.
  99. (pause as listener asks a question)
  100.
  101. Well, yeah, we can take public transport, but that can take ages.
  102.
  103. No, definitely a cab. We’re only there for the long weekend. Gotta take advantage.
  104.
  105. Anyway… we’ll taxi into town to the neighborhood where we’re staying. It’s called Le Marais.
  106.
  107. Did you have time to research a bit about the layout of Paris?
  108.
  109. Good. So you know the city is organized in 20 subdivisions (optional: or arrondissements).
  110.
  111. Le Marais spans the 3rd and 4th (arrondissements), on the Right Bank.
  112.
  113. That’s right, the right bank of the river Seine. Very good. So you did read up. (light chuckle)
  114.
  115. We’ll check into the hotel. (flirty tone) Maybe have a little siesta…
  116.
  117. (pause. Optional light kiss)
  118.
  119. But hey, we’re not going to Paris to lie in bed all day now, are we.
  120.
  121. Around 5pm, we’ll have an apéritif at the hotel bar.
  122.
  123. Then take a little walk around the neighborhood before dinner.
  124.
  125. It’s my favorite part of Paris.
  126.
  127. Well, I have several favorites.
  128.
  129. But if I had to live there, I’d have to pick Le Marais.
  130.
  131. It has everything you need. Shopping, restaurants, museums, galeries, nightlife…
  132.
  133. Yet it feels neighborhoody at the same time.
  134.
  135. Yep, I already reserved at my favorite restaurant. It’s a hidden-away place with a different menu every night.
  136.
  137. You’ll love it, you’ll see.
  138.
  139. Anyway… that’s our first day.
  140.
  141. (pause… maybe a yawn)
  142.
  143. Hmm? Well, the next day, I was thinking we could walk down to Île Saint-Louis.
  144.
  145. That’s right, one of the two little islands between the river banks.
  146.
  147. Then keep walking to the Latin Quarter (or: “Quartier Latin”), over on the Left Bank.
  148.
  149. You know, where the intellectuals used to hang out. (light laugh)
  150.
  151. We should have packed our berets and black turtlenecks to look the part.
  152.
  153. No, no, I’m kidding. It’s not like that now. It’s still cool to visit, though.
  154.
  155. Then we can go to Chinatown for lunch, down in the 13th (arrondissement).
  156.
  157. If you get tired of walking, we can take the Métro a few stops. Walking is the best sight-seeing, though...
  158.
  159. Mm-hmm... (getting sleepy)
  160.
  161. After that? … after that, we can hit a museum if you feel like it. Or go back to the hotel to.. You know... relax… (low chuckle, nuzzle, et.c)
  162.
  163. The day after? Anything you want, babe...
  164.
  165. (Really sleepy now. Voice fading out.)
  166.
  167. Eiffel Tower, Montmartre… whatever you want to do…
  168.
  169. But… let’s try and sleep a bit.
  170.
  171. It would be a shame if you spent your first day in Paris half asleep... (chuckle)
  172.
  173. (fadeout)
  174.
