  1. You know, we've come a long way since the 70s. Especially the field of Mental Health. In fact, I would say treatment of mental health conditions has made 99% of the progress made so far just since the 70s. It is a fairly new field of medicine after all. I mean, look at what we were doing before the 70s! One thing we learned, after spilling an ocean of blood and after countless lives spent every waking moment since being born in unbearable misery and excruciating pain right up until the day they died, just in case you thought it was easy get there but I digress, one thing we learned is a very simple, seemingly easy lesson. But an important one, as it put a stop to performing lobotomies. But that lesson was: SURGERY DOES NOT TREAT MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS. Period, full stop. I will give the doctors of the past, with their beak masks and leeches and bloodletting, a pass because at the time, we didn't know. I can see  why they would try the surgery route, too. Surgery fixes all sorts of non-mental health issues, why should this be any different? But now we know. There's no excuse now. Every doctor in the country, and their grandmas, KNOW that surgery doesn't fix mental health issues. This stuff has been known. But increasingly, the doctors have started to.....  kinda take their masks off, so to speak, and show their true colors. The Hippocratic oath apparently meant nothing to them. To go a step further, there seems to be a massive malevolent force hellbent on co-opting credentials in general, but especially of doctors.
