  1. Jump #320: Shadow of Mordor
  2. >The Star: Body and mind and converging towards the light at the end of a dark time.
  3. >Age: 26
  4. >Location: Mordor
  5. >Identity: Tribesman
  6. >Counter (900)
  7. Being able to counter incoming attacks is handy, if nothing else, I suppose. Because I definitely don't know how to do that yet. Nope.
  8. >Map (800)
  9. Now I can add more to my other mapping abilities. Seeing points of interest and artifacts, and potential jobs, is interesting and possibly helpful in places.
  10. >Lucky Ratbag (700)
  11. A little extra good luck can go a long way.
  12. >Crowd Control (500)
  13. Fighting multiple opponents is easier. Sure, that's helpful, even if I already have it covered...
  14. >Corsair (Free, Tribesman)
  15. I'm in Mordor. How the hell do I know jack about sailing?
  16. >Prophet (300, Tribesman)
  17. It's not as though I'm not already a precog several times over, but being able to find rare and unique relics is nifty.
  18. >Hidden Town (0, Tribesman)
  19. Secrets will stay secret, especially when they're secret bases. Handy.
  20.
  21. So, we're talking... what, ten years of fighting Mordor?
  22.
  23. Yeah, no, we're not doing that. What we are doing is letting that Talion guy get his revenge, and once he's done that... we get every single human being out of Mordor. Sure, there are orcs, uruk, and probably snotlings or something skulking around, but that's Sauron's problem.
  24.
  25. We'll see how well they deal with things when suddenly every human building has been put to the torch unexpectedly and all of their crops destroyed.
  26.
  27. Meanwhile, I'm sure I can help a group of men get established in a nice spot somewhere further west of Mordor in a relatively safe place. Just going to have to be doing a lot of diplomacy with the elves and dwarves that neighbor them.
  28.
  29. I'm not here to kill Sauron, but his forces can't very well eat ash. I sealed the Black Gate as we departed. Let them try their hand at farming. More likely, let them fall apart to mutiny and cannibalism.
  30.
  31. Sauron can have Mordor. He can keep his rule over a kingdom of bone and ash.
