Net Neutrality is bullshit

You don't understand economics if you think the ISPs can just cartelize on their own in the free market and run the whole show. This simply does not work on the free market! You're attacking the wrong problem, net neutrality is not going to make the internet better and certainly not going to prevent the internet from going to shit! The FCC is responsible for that, the local governments preventing other ISPs from entering their markets are the problem.

Your constitutional amendment IS NOT FREE MARKET!!!!! It's the exact opposite of the free market, you're telling those private companies to do something with their private property! THat's no different than letting the government take them over and run them from the government!

"We need to strip it out of the hands at the FCC and bureaucratic level" what the fuck do you think your constitutional amendment is doing?! It's not because you're putting it in the constitution that it suddenly becomes not the government or not bureaucratic! On the contrary, you are explicitly giving powers to the government to regulate the market! You're telling the government that they have the right to sue companies for the vague slight of throttling the connection for some users! THat's regulatory capture! And once the ISPs go back into the government they can have the judges tell people that the throttling is justified!

Your constitutional amendments are not going to restraint the government, it's going to restrain private people! This is the exact opposite of what you say you want! It GIVES powers to the government to tell private individuals what they can or cannot do! You're also telling those private individuals that they can't let the company sell their data so that the individual can have a better deal! How can you think this has ANYTHING to do with the free market?! This is insane!

"DO we really want to take the chance" this is exactly what creates more government power, the false idea that government can help you solve problems you don't even know exist! The outpouring of hate does not stop when the companies are fully privatized! The people are still going to be angry at ISPs that do shitty stuff, and what their competition will do is undercut them! Remember what Sony did with the Playstation when Microsoft caught so much shit for wanting to throw away physical sells of disks and put everything behind DRMs! They announced the opposite and they got praised by the market. This is exactly what would happen in a fully privatized telecom sector!

Cartels never hold if they are not enforced by government rules, because all the members of the cartel have an incentive to undercut the other members to make a profit over them, either by providing better service or better prices, and people outside of the cartel would also have the incentive to undercut the cartel!

Moreover, under net neutrality, throttling STILL happens! You know why? Because your shitty net neutrality applies to specific channels, but companies like Comcast use different channels to send their preferred content like for TV, so they can continue to throttle all they want and you stupid law will do exactly nothing of what you want. And no, you cannot solve that by adding more net neutrality restrictions! Laws do not solve problems they displace them, and if you manage to prevent the displacement of the problem and "solve" it, you'll end up with overall shittier services because it will because unprofitable to provide internet services!

And again this idea that somehow the government WHO CREATED ENTIRE AGENCIES TO SPY ON THE PEOPLE AND THAT ARE STILL FULLY FUNCTIONAL is going to protect you or prevent the ISPs or other websites from being shitty to you is marvellously short-sighted and naive! I mean good lord, look at other supposed protections put in place by the government before, like the anti-trust regulations, what happened with Microsoft?! Did the trial actually lead to Microsoft being less "anti-competitive" ? No they kept their market share for decades afterwards, all that did was pushing Microsoft to put lobbyists in Washington DC to bribe politicians into not attacking the company!

Stop believing in the myth of the Omnipotent State! It cannot save you, it can only make your life worse! It is absolutely ridiculous to believe that the entity that CREATES the problem can be used to remove it! When you have cancer you don't add more cancer to resolve the issue,  you remove the cancer instead!

What keeps company toe the lie is the ability for competition to take their clients away from therm! Not the threat of a law suite! That just reduces their capacity to invest in better products!

On what planet do you live to believe that INCREASING the power of the government somehow reduces the size of the government? When has that EVER happened?!

Oh, an appeal to popularity? From people who would benefit from net neutrality AT THE EXPENSE OF THEIR CONSUMERS?! YES at the expense of their consumers! Because if the ISPs have to provide the same bandwidth to all the websites, who do you think has to foot the bill? The people who pay for the service! As a result you're going to have higher prices and/or lower bandwidth for all the clients who are supposedly helped by net neutrality!

Yeah you don't understand what the NAP is about if you think AnCap are fine with private companies breaking it. If you do not want your data to be sold by your ISP and you have no agreed to your data being sold like that, you should complain and you should get reparations! But most people do not give a shit! They willingly give away their data on Facebook barely  using any of the confidentiality support they provide, and they don't really push companies towards more privacy by paying more money for those companies that provide more privacy. You're the one who relies on pipe dreams, not ancaps, on the pipe dream that somehow the government is going to protect you against its own bullshit, on the incredibly insanity of the idea that somehow restricting private companies makes a market more free!

You're the perfect demonstration that the lack of understanding of praxeology and Austrian economics are the worst plagues on the world today and what drives the increase of the size and power of the government at the expense of the citizens!
