- WEAPON INFO
- only those relevant to any% are listed
- all weapons restore some CP whenever they hit an enemy, which allows you to use S-ATTACKER to move faster, but i have yet to determine if any weapons are worth going out of your way to use just for that purpose
- GUN
- LV1 G-BLASTER - pea shooter. it seems on par with STINGER damage-wise, but the projectiles are slower
- LV2 STINGER - pierces terrain but not enemies. seems to do the most single-target damage when you don't have WIDE, and sometimes even when you do
- LV3 SPLASHER - rapid fire & wide spray, terrible damage, range decreases with use
- LV4 SEEKER - bouncy homing shots, not particularly damaging unless there's several enemies, but they can end up hitting some hard to reach targets and granting you CP you wouldn't get otherwise
- LV5 ABSORBER - puts up a shield that converts enemy projectiles into a large amount of CP. recommended as a secondary tool in places where you want to avoid losing weapon energy, such as GATHERVIRA
- LV6 WHIP - short range, ignores some shields, sends some projectiles back at enemy. recommended as a secondary tool for GONBEI, DIG-RAWLER, and LEIBNIZ
- LV7 EX-CHARGE - charge shot. as of now it doesn't seem particularly effective at any point in the game
- LV8 WIDE - pierces all and deals high damage that decreases with use, along with projectile size. whenever you counter an enemy, WIDE will be fixed at maximum power for a brief moment. (Jason's color palette changes to indicate this) if you're fighting a single target it's usually better to just use STINGER for consistently high damage, as WIDE deals far less when overused
- SUB
- GRENADE - as of now they appear to be the only sub you should have in any%. large splash damage, can spam your main weapon during the cooldowns
- SEEKER* - needs consideration. they cost time to retrieve, but you can do so very early and may be able to reverse the time loss by having them throughout the game
- COUNTER
- R-STRIKER - twirls in any direction. fires counter-shots at attacking enemies
- S-ATTACKER - increases move speed. immediately dashes at attacking enemies. take care not to counter off-screen enemies if you don't want to be flung in the direction they're in

- TIPS/TRICKS
- double-binding your main weapon with one of your shortcut buttons will help you take down bosses very fast. when a shortcut button isn't the same as your main weapon, holding down the Y button will cause the shortcut to be ignored, but if they're the same weapon then you can mash both at the same time without either one canceling out the other. binding different weapons to each shortcut can still work, but it can be very difficult to make sure ZL/ZR aren't being cancelled out by Y while maintaining enough mashing speed to be more effective than a double-bind (i have personally taken to using ZL for double-binding because it's less taxing on my right hand. BURN SPARK/ABSORB/WHIP are usually moved to ZR)
- you can hold B on area map screens to move faster
- instead of trying to fill G-SOPHIA's SP before a boss room, you can empty it instead and let it recharge during the boss intro
- a lot of save points in dungeons are next to WEAPON++++ pickups. if you collect them before hitting the save point, RETRY afterwards, then collect them again, you can ensure that you enter boss rooms with any weapon of your choosing
- when making your way through SHIP L-229, the boss' cannon arms can be shot from behind and used to ram the barriers as if they were drill arms

- GAME ROUTE
- FLOSANTE
- nav to DUNGEON-3 and defeat MOCKRANTULA for HOVER
- WEAPON++++ in the center of the room where you go around two chasms
- WEAPON++++ east of save point
- you can quick kill MOCKRANTULA by double-binding WIDE, spamming grenades, and countering its first attack to ensure WIDE keeps its power
- clip: https://twitter.com/BunnyAnjill/status/1111116703918772224
- leave FLOSANTE
- (?) needs comparison: leaving via the way you came or taking upper route with the spikes
- consider sacrificing a moment to pick up the health upgrade
- MONTOJ
- nav to DUNGEON-1 and defeat GONBEI for SHIFT-UP ATTACKER
- requires 6 keys:
- #1 and #2 bottom left and top right of first room
- #3 between southwest crop patches
- #4 northwest crop patch
- nearby (NE) block has WEAPON++++
- #5 southeast within northmost 2x2 set of blocks
- #6 east side of river, then north
- you can move slightly faster in the water by countering enemies, which causes the R-STRIKER twirl to move at full speed
- GONBEI can be 2-cycled with a double-bound STINGER and enough grenades
- clip: https://twitter.com/BunnyAnjill/status/1111128163369664519
- nav to DUNGEON-3 and acquire RECOIL JUMP
- nav to DUNGEON-4 and defeat ZAVIRA for KEY 1
- requires 3 keys or 4 to avoid damage boost:
- #1 in 2x3 set of blocks just east of entrance
- #2 just northeast of #1
- #3 just north of entrance/west of #2
- #4 island in water on the way to north exit
- ZAVIRA is weak to S-ATTACKER and SEEKER, but you will probably get more damage with STINGER or WIDE
- defeat GATHERVIRA
- multiple ZAVIRA die quickest when they overlap, allowing S-ATTACKER, SEEKER, GRENADE, and especially WIDE to hit all at once. making sure they're all in the same direction from you when they start circling around is probably the most consistent way to overlap them, but it's ultimately going to be RNG-based
- being able to do this entire fight without losing WIDE should make a very significant time difference
- leave MONTOJ
- SHIP L-229
- nav to and acquire KEY 2, visible immediately after the long tunnel
- DO NOT break the 2nd barrier on this screen unless doing so would also break the third barrier. if you do, the boss will fly off and you'll have to retry or backtrack to reach KEY 2
- nav to DUNGEON-2 and defeat UNKNOWN CELL-046 for BURN SPARK
- WEAPON++++ east side of first dungeon room
- UNKNOWN CELL-046 is weak to the charged shot, but each segment dies in one hit from GRENADE and drops more of them anyway
- if you have WIDE, you can also alternate shots with your grenades to potentially destroy the cells faster. each cell takes 3 fully powered WIDE shots
- nav to and defeat DEFEND THEM ALL for KEY 3
- leave SHIP L229
- STRANGA
- nav to and defeat EIR for DRILL
- the rainbow fly enemies along the way will die in one shot if you hop out of SOPHIA
- make good use of B-SPARK to deal damage and avoid taking damage against EIR
- nav to DUNGEON-3 for REPULSION UPPER
- this step can be skipped as long as you're willing to plant the fruit seeds without RU. if you can do so consistently it will save you quite a bit of time
- nav right for FRUIT 1
- nav to FRUIT 2 from the center right of big room
- flower platform skip: unequip HOVER and wall jump just underneath the water to get above it
- nav to FRUIT 3 from the center left of big room, near save point and passage to KANNA
- nav to KANNA for MAP E-3
- leave STRANGA
- land on PLANETOID E-3
- defeat CERBEBOSS for KEY 4
- DRILL is very effective
- now that you have DRILL, this would be a good time to visit AREA D and fight GARUDA for MAP G-1
- DIVIDO (from area F-1)
- get to the cold side of DIVIDO using this trick: https://twitter.com/BunnyAnjill/status/1110582939203465216
- this allows you to skip talking to TESSET as well as several planetoids between areas A and D
- nav to and defeat ATOM for FULL ACCEL BURST
- nav to DUNGEON-4 and defeat DIG-RAWLER for KEY 6
- second room has WEAPON++++
- red switch can be skipped with lots of S-ATTACKER spam, make sure CP is high
- WEAPON++++ before boss
- for fighting DIG-RAWLER i would suggest putting WHIP on a shortcut button to send the balloon enemies back at him. then you can spam grenades along with another weapon the rest of the time his mouth is open
- leave DIVIDO
- land on PLANETOID G-1 and defeat GARUDA for MAP G-2
- land on PLANETOID G-2 and defeat GATHERVIRA, CERBEBOSS, and INVEM THEM ALL for MAP G-3
- you can take down CERBEBOSS with a single use of FA-BLAST
- DRILL is actually *not* as effective as just shooting GATHERVIRA, as the crystal is too high up to hit consistently
- land on PLANETOID G-3 and defeat MIGHTY MINE MITE, UNKNOWN CELL-046, MOCKRANTULA, and LEIBNIZ for PLANET??? MAP
- if you counter MIGHTY MINE MITE, it will always return to the center of the room and become vulnerable for a while
- LEIBNIZ can be stunned with S-ATTACKER and WHIP. WHIP should be made secondary as it will not do as much damage as mashing with other weapons
- defeat PLANADE G and win
- you can deal a lot of damage at once by jumping from a platform at the very top of the screen
- the threshold for PLANADE G to start moving and becoming invulnerable is about 20% HP. it is a good idea to try and land a jump from the very top of the screen just before reaching this threshold to minimize the amount of time you spend on this phase
- when PLANADE G starts moving, it takes roughly 10 seconds to become vulnerable again. if you can set up a jump from the top of the screen with good timing, the last phase should end after a single cycle
