Damian "Damo" McKellar

Damo is another relatively new player to the Australian Nationals, first making an appearance at Nationals in Willetton (2008) and taking home 3 trophies, a 1st in Triples, 2nd in Solos and 2nd in Teams.
Since then Damo has continued his strong form, taking home trophies in 6 of the 12 events played in his Nationals 'career' so far.

Last year, at the Darwin Nationals (2010), Damo's team (W.A. Knights) were strong favourites and rightfully so - they missed out on taking home the Teams title by the smallest margin in National history.
Damo also managed a strong showing across all other events, taking home a 2nd place Triples trophy with Nationals newcomes Maccy-B and NICKFRIDAY, finishing 8th overall in Solos and barely missing out on Doubles finals.

This year, the Knights are sending the same team, Damo is partnered with Cyc for the Doubles event and with Bullet and Hybrid (the current Doubles champions) for Triples.
Expect big things from Damo in 2011 - definitely one of the 'players to watch' for the coming years.
