  1. Chapter One: The Colony
  2. After what seemed like around a month at sea we finally see that wich we were looking for, a new land to call home. A strong feeling in the air announced to us that this land was full of magical energies untouched by the hands of the gods of our old continent. A land alien to us with so much potential for discovery and exploration...
  3. But we shouldn't be reckless just because of our curiosity, we had to make plans, folow patterns, make sure we established ourselves there before we could venture further. The first order of business was to choose who would lead us in this new world, and THE SAGE was exactly the man for the job, having been around since the second pretenders' war, he is the oldest, wisest and sometimes the grumpiest the tainted had to offer, a natural-born leader, he once again took up the mantle and led us through our time of need.
  4. Finding ourselves at what the scouts promptly named the PRIMORDIAL MARSHLANDS due to the enourmous trees, incredible magical energies and beautyful fauna, of wich it was specially notable the creatures the sage decided to name SILENI and TREE MONNES, the latter being a sometimes friendly sometimes mad hybrid of a monkey and the trees that covered the place, and the former being a majestic creature that occasionally hunted near our grounds. But those animals weren't the only notable fauna there, as traces of civilization were present at the place before we arrived and it wasn't long before our new neighbors showed themselves.
  5. The HARPIES proved themselves to be quite the strange neighbor, as they would often roost upon the primordial trees and leave once our scouts got near, but as soon as our TOWN HALL was built their sightings became mor frequent, often watchin g us with curious intent that could not be discerned for curiosity or animosity.
  6. After distributing the land BY HOUSEHOLDs of the past, the families that contributed the most in our journey got the best pieces of land and got an easier time settling in and then once the leaders and warriors of our escape fleet finished getting settled in it was time to decide on what to do next.
  7. Since the marshlands were connected to a river that led us to the sea we decided to build A NEW HARBOR, one where we could not only house the ships we borrowed indefinitely from our friends at the old continent but potentially expand our fleet. BUILDING FORTIFICATIONS was next on our list, since we couldn't know what the harpies were up to it was best to keep a watchful eye on them to prevent any raids or other such actions from the natives.
  8. A MAGICAL SURVEY was also required, since the magical energies the sage and our sorcerers had detected was somewhat different from the ones we knew, wich was a good thing, since we managed to track the source of quite a few magical anomalies and get a better understanding of the spirits that inhabited this place. And we couldn't forget our Mechanica friends, tough our trials in the waves contributed much to our bonding, we still required a formal LEGISLATIVE UNIFICATION to keep us under the same banner and prevent great divides from getting in the way of our survival here.
  9. Afraid of the influence of those who sought to diband, conquer or destroy us a policy of CLEANSING had to be adopted, with wich we discovered, and swiftly rid ourselves of, a group of vampires trying to sow the seeds of chaos within our midst. Weeks lader we had A MIRACULOUS RETURN from the ship lost at the storm, it could only be a sing the the red god himself we believed.
  10. At last safe from internal threats we truned our eyes outwards, towards this new world and what it had to offer. Seeing as the natives worshipped only proto-divine spirits we decided it was time to bring the power of divinity to them, with PROSELITYSM we spread the word of our god and how he guided us to this new land, through no small amount of luck we also got ourselves AN UNEXPECTED PUPIL, moved by the words of the sage this young harpy shaman apprenticed decided to learn all she could about the power of our god, about the land beyond and the powers that brought us there, and in return she decided to teach us the local way of using magic.
  11. After properly settling in and dealing, more or less, with the natives we turned once again towards our lands, where the BOTANIC RICHES allowed our agriculture, medicine and alchemy to flourish. But not everything was calm, despite SUCCESSFUL DOMESTICATION of some of the creatures of the land we still had a problem with an ANIMAL RAMPAGE, setting us back on our attempts to tame the land.
