[01:54] <nonverbal_Carly> I think autism is not something that is broken, I see it this way Autism is not a processing error. It’s a different operating system

[01:54] <pomifera> Because they literally cannot understand certain perceptual things that everyone else can
[01:55] <pomifera> That's because there's a developmental issue with that circuitry

[01:56] <pomifera> She could understand normal things and express herself normally
[01:56] <pomifera> Just didn't know how to communicate
[01:56] <pomifera> Because sensory issues
[01:56] <pomifera> But that's different from autistic sensory issues
[01:56] <pomifera> With Helen Keller it's the outputs that's damaged
[01:56] <pomifera> With autistic people it's the outputs

[01:57] <nonverbal_Carly> You can’t run a PlayStation game on an ex box or vice versa. So if you slip the wrong in your PlayStation is it broken? No the software isn’t compatible
