so, as promised, I will tell you about my experiences at CW and whatever comes with that :wink:
It seems I joined in late March 2016
I was like "Yay, another forum, let's discover it!"
I had rather active topics, like the ICE one etc
and to be honest, you guys are fast with replying xD
No problems so far, although some members still need to learn to write correct English, or at least try to
(including you, you forget capital letters and periods everywhere :joy: )
Oh btw, I need to say 2 disclaimers:
1) don't take this personal, I've nothing against you :smiley:
2) this has literally NOTHING to do with Cemetech and KermMartion; I expect DJ would say something with this or so
One big 'mistake' I noticed through the year, of CW, was the quality of posts
A lot of people don't even try to write correct English, or abbreviations everywhere
That is one thing I try to do, write correct English, despite the fact that I'm Dutch xD
Then, I've no idea when actually, I saw slowly another 'problem' occuring, and that is that sometimes bullshit topics show up
Either clickbait topics, or just topics that are super useless, and I was surprised both the community still posted in them, and that the staff didn't delete it
So, after some time, (I REALLY dislike clickbait topics, btw), I had my first big argument with DJ, after I said that the CW staff made such clickbait topics (at that moment it was true, though!)
Like you, who posted a topic with a clickbait topic to state that you hate clickbait topics
well........ not the way to go in my opinion :wink:
so DJ and I had a rather big argument, can't remember all of it luckily, but I sent an excuse PM to him, and we had piece again (more or less)
peace* lol
that was also the moment my activity dropped, although not fast
then, in December 2016, I got promoted to global moderator at Cemetech
which means a lot to me, you might expect that, but  that resulted in having less time for other forums
I started to help develop Cemetech, and SC, and jsTIfied, and whatever
which means less time for CW and TI-Planet and other forums, you know
but then something important happened, you know what it is, and that was that argument with DJ some months ago
I was pretty tired, c4ooo made some jokes I didn't appreciate, I said that to him, and then DJ came with "SHUT THE FUCK UP OR I WILL PERMBAN YOU"
well, you know how it ended, I ragequitted from  IRC, DJ lied about that Kerm/Cemetech was involved
I felt so miserable at that moment (probably you didn't know that), and I went almost crying to bed
love you - vandaag om 23:00
luckily both Kerm and Pieman were online to help me, otherwise really bad stuff would have happened
so that was the moment I activity went very close to 0
I didn't reply to other topics anymore, and in my own topics I didn't reply as fast as I did at Cemetech, if I did at all
and not even bothering looking at other topics
from that moment on, upto last week, I wasn't very active, only looking at topics that looks interesting
through the entire year, I (as already said), was a bit disappointed by both the topics and the quality of the topics
I once made a screenshot, where literally 50% of the shown topics were in my opinion, useless in some form
(sorry for spamming btw :joy: )
so, the final desicion happened some days ago
I was reading kotu's topic about "Bad news, floating numbers aren't real numbers"........ wtf dat topic
I said to DJ: that clickbait topic
he first agreed on that, see this:

Well, this is just too sad for words, I was just fine, even though I didn't reply to aeTIos, AND DJ FIRST AGREED ON THAT IT WAS A CLICKBAIT TOPIC
well, that was surely the final thing for me, I was (am) totally fed up with CW and DJ (although don't tell him, I don't want to make him more sad in his current situation)
so that's why I made that topic. I tried to be neutral as possible, to not blame anyone
and the final thing I really dislike, is the entire :walrii: thing
I know, it's great to have such thing at your website, but IMHO it went way too far

this is not a funny 'toy' anymore, the community is worshipping it (yes, I think so)
and I hope you can imagine I'm 200% against this
(worshipping it, I've nothing against walrii ^^)
so yeah, this is basically my entire CW story/life
you are allowed to share this with anyone you want, although do it with respect. I still do like CW, and it surely does have great members, but I don't fit there, I feel
I won't do it like DJ, who blocks SAX of Cemetech, that I block wIRC, because I will still look at all the posts
