Although it would be interesting I agree with drampa's stance that it's a bit unstable and would probably be better suited as a one-off rather than a full-fledged metagame.

As for being a Pet Mod I have zero interest in that, and even if I did I'm not sure how it would work. If all it was were the cut mons than it wouldn't really fit in. If the goal was to rebuild the metagame with what was left out through direct changes to Pokemon, than it's not terribly unique in what it does IMO and wouldn't garner much attention compared to more established PM's like Clean Slate.

The bigger issue is that I'm already trying to iron out a concept for a Pet Mod and if that's something I want to pursue; then it's a matter of figuring out the best way to go about it from an organization standpoint. If I'm going to be running a Pet Mod I'd much rather focus on that one than try two; especially considering that I've got other interests and involvements both within and outside Smogon.

The only real reason I submitted it was because the thought came to me and nobody had mentioned it yet, so I wanted to see if it was something that caught anyone's interest. Since support wasn't terribly high and there were a lot of immediate issues to take care of I figured it was best to just leave it be.
