  1. [14:39] Lexia folds her arms, looking at Gideon from the corner of her eyes and exhales softly. Something was strange about him, he seemed quite a bit less apathetic today. She still held some reservations about him due to past events.
  2.
  3. "I stopped trying to please you a long time ago."
  4.
  5. She spoke, the air was cold, yes she was excited about his offer, though she wanted to say her piece as she did.
  6.
  7. "Let's go to the Research facility, I've some corpses I'd like to dig into."
  8. (Nihilexia Wight)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [14:43] Gideon nodded, Slowly looking up from his book. He didn't really care about the attitude she displayed in some cases it was better she didn't aim to please him. He groomed her to become too dependent on him at one point and now that she was able to succeed and find her own path without him he figured this would be the better route to advancing Dawn. In his own way.
  12.
  13. " If you say so, I'm going to be reading this book about Chaos. Its perhaps the best writings I've read since coming here. "
  14.
  15. He yawned and followed along as he continued reading.
  16. (Gideon Ruger)

  18.
  19. [15:03] With Gideon in tow, the Sarradian apprentice enters the facility placing her staff and cloak near the door and sorting her preparations. The air was at a comfortable temperature though she adjusted the atmosphere herself.
  20.
  21. She preferred to work in a colder setting, this allowed her to focus easier. She did not look at her teacher, simply requiring him there to observe as well as offer her advice if she truly needed it.
  22.
  23. After choosing her table, she pulls from her bag a set of surgeons tools, her notebook as well as an etching kit for the runes she needed to create. Neatly placing them in proper order she sets off to find her subject.
  24.
  25. The young woman exhales softly, heading towards a room lined with runes meant to preserve the bodies it contained. The corpses of animals, daemons and humans alike each of them put to eventual use after their lives had been lived. Lexia decided to choose something of a good size, the corpse of a Gehennan monkey, not much bigger than asmall child.
  26.
  27. Placing the corpse upon a trolley she makes her way towards the operating table. Gently, she removes her gauntlet, placing it upon the same tray as her tools. Lifting the corpse she neatly places it upon the table, closing her eyes a moment and centering herself, it was time to get her hands dirty.
  28. (Nihilexia Wight)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [15:14] Gideon merely watched as Lexia did her work, Observing her and making sure she didn't make any fatal mistakes but as it seemed she was already teetering on becoming a professional of this. He was glad he could inspire someone else to train in his art. If only Sage wasn't as weak as she was she too could've been able to achieve greatness.
  32.
  33. He sighed flipping through the manuscript and finishing it off he placed the book back into his coat pocket and merely continued to relax and watch his former student at work. She indeed earned his respect but there also seemed to be no reason for him to hold back on his own plans..
  34.
  35. Once he obtained the Chaotic heart from Eidolon his plans could be set in monition.
  36. (Gideon Ruger)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [15:24] Gently, incisions are made, her plan was to etch a rune on each of the important organs in order to create an adequate flow of mana through each point. Her hopes were not only to bring it to life, but to help the body make the required connections at a quicker pace, allowing her to ease into the ritual and provide an adequate beacon.
  40.
  41. Exhaling softly, she repeats the process within her minds eye, having made all the proper incisions she pours mana into the etching tool and begins etching her runes. First, she wrote a small set of runes upon the table, slowing the bodies decomposition to a crawl and in order to prevent any disease or viruses from stabilizing themselves.
  42.
  43. The first rune she placed under the skin and upon the skull, the second upon the ribcage above the heart. The third and fourth runes were etched into the spine and upon the soft outer layer of the monkeys stomach. Upon placing the fifth and final rune she cleaned up and pulled a needle and thread from the tray to sew up the incisions she'd made.
  44.
  45. Now came her final preparations for the ritual, having cleaned and prepared the body with a sense of delicacy she would then brush the runes from the table.
  46. (Nihilexia Wight)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48.
  49. [15:30] Gideon continued to observe, His green eyes dotting back and forth watching the Sarradian do her work. She seemed to be excelling just as he had expected. There wasn't much for him to do besides continue planning the many journeys a head of them.
  50.
  51. " Lexia do you still plan on coming with me to gather the Azrael relic and to research Eidolon? I'm sure there would be plenty of materials and other things to research there."
  52. (Gideon Ruger)
  53. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  54.
  55. [16:07] "Of course."
  56.
  57. She would be a fool not to join him, especially after what she'd learned and helped obtain during her last expedition. Aside from resurrecting corpses in Valmasia there wasn't much left for her to study aside from researching abroad and searching for relics. Especially with the object she'd helped Arthur find, once she'd acquired necromancy she would be of much more use as a Valmasian.
  58.
  59. A fain mist escapes her lips, making her way to the proper space upon the floor as she'd begun drawing the proper circle for the ritual she would be preforming. The design was intricate and she'd practiced it over and over again since her first lesson, drawing pages upon pages of runes and circles in one of her notebooks.
  60.
  61. Upon perfecting the circle she had created she would neatly place the prepared corpse within, attempting not to blemish any of the markings she'd made. Working delicately she finally closes the circle, kneeling outside of it after having retrieved her staff.
  62.
  63. The young Sarradian woman closes her eyes, focusing upon the energy around her and whispering the incantations required, being that this creature was not a sentient one she would not need to delve deep to find its' spirit, though she would still have to follow that familiar feeling towards it.
  64.
  65. Silently, Lexia drifts off into a trance as the ritual begins and she forays into the realm of spirits in search of her quarry.
  66. (Nihilexia Wight)
  67. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  68.
  69. [16:10] He nods firmly deciding the direction of they could take to get to the unnamed island would be difficult but still if It's purpose was to gather a relic for Azrael Then It was a holy journey he would take up no matter the situation.
  70.
  71. If it was something that could improve his own Necromancy and better outfit Dawn with more power then he would be fine with it. Even if he didn't care for the leadership Dawn was the only Azraelite nation on Agartha so he had to do his best to preserve it and eventually they could come to rival the demons to some degree
  72. (Gideon Ruger)
  73. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. [16:34] The world begins to shift around her, the sensation of her very being having been pulled from the physical realm into something very new to her. Everything rushed around her, opening her eyes to grey nothingness as mist rolled along where she stood. Deafening silence as she reached out, searching for a trail and finding it, keeping her focus.
  76.
  77. Silently, she does what she knows best, having poured energy into the ritual the runes she'd inscribed within the monkey had begun to resonate, allowing her to pull forth a faint beacon.
  78.
  79. The beacon itself took the form of a faint shawl, flowing like the Aurora borealis around her spiritual form, naked and beautiful in the nothingness around her. Gently, she reaches out, preforming a slow dance as she pours energy into the beacon in search of the primal spirit.
  80.
  81. Around her the scenery shifts, delving deep as she got closer to the spirit she searched for, strange trees sprouting from the mists as she found herself in the semblance of the Gehennan jungle. There it was, that familiar sensation, something tugging at her soul, she was running out of time.
  82.
  83. Nihilexia reaches out, the beacon flowing around her nake form and towards her hand. The glowing shawl of energy begins to dance slowly, calling out as she found herself surrounded by primal forces. Whispers, screeches and various noises surrounded her attempting to pull at her focus.
  84.
  85. Her body stirs as the runes begin to glow brightly.
  86.
  87. Within the primal realm she found herself in she pushed, attempting to drive the voices away as she continued her dance, getting closer and closer to the spirit until finally she found it. With the spirit came silence, the beacon pouring itself around it as she reached down. The beast was terrified, though upon feeling the familiar energy it calmed itself enough that Lexia was able to reach down as if to pet it. She smiles, using the motion and the beacon she used to tether the monkeys' spirit asit was enthralled by her beauty.
  88.
  89. The circle around the corpse begins to glow ever brighter as a faint energy forms around it. The energy becomes visible, almost tangible as it resembled the Auroras the Sarradian normally played with in her magics. Lexia slowly opens her eyes, reaching down and placing her hand upon the circle as the energies begin to gather around the monkey.
  90.
  91. She had succeeded at making the connection, her attempts at easing the process having worked as well. Now the final step, binding and awakening.
  92. (Nihilexia Wight)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [16:54] The light in the room begins to fade as if the energy caught within the circle sapped it away. Watching silently, Lexia continues to pull at the tether she'd created, what she'd discovered at the fortress helping her greatly. The energy fluctuates madly for a moment as the spirit attempts to fight back, to prevent the unnatural from happening though the fledgling necromancer was much stronger.
  96.
  97. She lured the creature from its' realm into this one, the runes within the corpse activating as they too pulled at it. An audible screech could suddenly be heard as if the air were tearing itself open, the strange colorful aura being pulled into the Monkey. The Sarradians eyes begin to glow, a faint silver aura flowing from her eyes, reaching out with an open hand before closing it tightly.
  98.
  99. With that motion the gathered energy quickly forces itself into the body, pulling the spirit into it as well. Another whispered incantation before she flicks her wrist, the light in the room returns to its regular state as the runes in the circle begins to fade.
  100.
  101. Standing up silently, Lexia scuffs the circle with her foot, the glow in her eyes fading as she looks towards the corpse.
  102.
  103. "Arise, arise and worship me." She spoke, a command, the first of many.
  104.
  105. Suddenly, the body stirs, small furry hands twitching as it slowly lifts itself up, looking around dazily before setting its eyes upon her. The creature, though not sentient was filled with awe, smart enough to see a goddess.
  106.
  107. The monkey offers a soft bow, as if it had been trained to do so its' entire life. Lexia offers it her hand and it gladly jumps up around her shoulders, turning to look towards Gideon as she did as well.
  108.
  109. "Perfect." she spoke, only to be responded with a loud coo.
  110. (Nihilexia Wight)
  111. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  112.
  113. [17:02] Gideon saw that she no longer needed his gudiance or observations and nodded towards her before leaving.
  114. (Gideon Ruger)
  115. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  116.
  117. [17:16] The undead simian chirps as Lexia smiles, petting it lightly before returning to the table, cleaning her tools and putting them away. Finally, she placed her shimmering gauntlet back upon her right hand before looking at the beast she'd just revived.
  118.
  119. The monkey hopped from her shoulder, looking up at her and tilting its' head.
  120.
  121. "Hmm.. I think I'll call you.." She would pause, attempting to think of a suitable name.
  122.
  123. As she thought of a name she'd make her way towards the door, having cleaned up after herself and wrapping her cloak around her shoulders, sheathing the staff she used.
  124.
  125. "Reginald!" She'd grin lightly as the monkey chirped in approval, still getting used to its' body as it hopped up from the desks, onto her shoulders and she made her way out the door.
  126. (Nihilexia Wight)
