Ezperanza asks, "Um... Rai?"

Rai Yasahiro asks, "Well- Yes Ezper?"

Ezperanza says, "Thank you, so much. I promise, I'll make it up to you, someday."

Ezperanza exclaims, "I want you to be a good person, always, like today!"

Ezperanza says, "I don't want you like mom, when she left me in the market, and never returned."

Rai Yasahiro says, "Don't worry. I'll never abandon you, I promise."

Ezperanza says, "Okay, Rai."
Rai holds out his right hand, pinky extended.

Ezperanza would pinky swear giggling.

The illusionist would wiggle his fingers above their joined pinkies, shadows falling and painting into confetti, disappearing shortly thereafter.

He lowered his hand and sighed slightly, possibly content.

"Be safe, yes? I can't keep my promise if you get hurt."

Ezperanza exclaims, "Okay Rai! Same to you!"
Ezperanza picks up Paper (Blank).


Ezperanza says, "Oh hey, his first burn marks on paper."

Ezperanza exclaims, "I'ma keep this!"

Rai Yasahiro says, "Heh. Well, I'm going to head back down now, I can only handle the cold for so long."

Ezperanza exclaims, "Okay Rai! See you!"
Ezperanza writes on a sheet of paper.

Rai waves as he walks back down the mountain, shadows trailing behind himself rising slowly into the form of a small human following behind himself, just out of his sight. Looking closely, one might notice a ponytail as it clung to his coat.
