The Island draft

Setting:  Pacific Island, 2030.
Canon: Yes (extended, off-server)
Synopsis: A Resistance C-130 from Port Moresby to Australia is blown off-course during a storm and crashes on a large, but remote island, leaving roughly 4-6 survivors. As they struggle to survive on the beach and signal for a rescue, they discover signs of a village somewhere in the interior of the heavily forested island, as well as glimpses of tribal peoples. Eventually, one night, the tribe arrives in force and apprehends the survivors, bringing them to the village.

As it turns out, the center of the village contains the wreckage of a ditched, early war-model Skynet Transport, along with one of Skynet's first mobile AI cores. Using a direct link to the HK, it has managed to convince the islanders that it is a god.

Characters:
The Resistance people- A group of Resistance and related refugees and experts that were on the first leg of an island-hopping journey to Australia. During the trip, a heavy storm blows in, sending their helicopter so far off-course that the chopper is forced to ditch in the open water. Out of the original 10 aboard, roughly 4 survive.

The AI (can also direct the destroyed HK and its maintenance bot)- originally a mobile AI core meant for the siege of Port Moresby, the transport was blown off course in a similar storm-system to the survivors. It uses the HK as a power source, although there is a backup generator also connected that is used in emergencies.

Its capacity for voice, holographic projection, and control of the HK's plasma cannon has solidified its status among the islanders as a representative of the gods, if not one itself. At one point, it attempted to utilize the islanders as labor to help repair the HK, but due to the lack of usable resources on the island itself, and their complete lack of understanding of the industrial world, the most they have built for the AI has been a chair behind the projector, a building to house the AI core, and votive offerings every day.

The AI, self-aware but isolated in all forms from its commanders, has become incredibly cynical as its physical power drains, and it suspects that its influence is likewise declining. It has managed to decipher their language, but they do not often understand its meanings.

T-202-C1014R Repair Bot ("Death")- A repair drone with one arm, it has become idolized by the tribe as a manifestation of the gods' power. However, it has also come to act as the physical manifestation of Death, as during the nights, it occasionally kidnaps tribesmen to be used as human batteries, particularly in recent months on the island.

Random tribesmen (can be played by one person)- A pre-industrial, pre-contact tribe that has inhabited the southern half of the island for centuries. The first contact with any modern culture was the Skynet crash 10 years prior, that brought them the AI core. Convinced that the HK's plasma cannon is a lightning bolt, they do not dare disobey the AI, and have come to regard it as a God. They have painted its console vibrant colors, and offer sacrifices from the other tribe on the island, which has all but ceased to exist due to their fear of divine retribution, and the victories by the Southern tribe.

Planning: Not sure as of yet. The first part of the RP would likely be those who survived the crash waking up on the shore of the island, with various supplies and parts washing up with them. The main goal of the survivors would be to find a means to escape the island, although they have learned that there is at least one tribe of humans in the interior. This would be a secondary goal, as it is rather easy to tell that the tribe is somewhat war-like and has been in an off-and-on conflict with a neighboring tribe on the opposite shore for at least 20 years.
