Dungeon 2 ideas 5/31/13

title screen:
game -> starts new game
load -> brings up list of saves to choose
option -> change settings and manage shit. largely afterthought

new game:
level select sort of deal, you can walk around and go to dungeons
only 3 available at the start
easier; shows off game mechanics
each dungeon can be done completely without entering the others
you can leave a dungeon at any time
items from one dungeon may give shortcuts in another
more dungeons become accessible as you get more items

each dungeon has:
 different art style
 2 items
 1 final boss

beating a dungeon should do something, havent thought of what yet
more than 10 dungeons definitely
final dungeon that makes use of lots of items
save by walking over checkpoints
hitting action key over checkpoint adds to your list of saves
key to load a save at any time. im a nice guy
2 item keys, can scroll through them
idea: window size 16:9, hud on left, gameplay 4:3 with nothing intrusive
health? idk

no randomness at all
no story/dialogue at all
no enemies aside from bosses
all deaths from obstacles
extra stuff for 100% cuz why not
silly easter eggs. fun
want customizable keys and changeable window size. not overly interested though
on the fence on showing map in game

want audio but wont be making any.
