- “I’m more curious as to what two Durgas were doing over here by the River!”
- “I'm training this girl to be a better warrior,” Dana said as he sipped his tea.
- “Oh, a student and teacher. How's that going along?”
- “Terrible.” Pomona murmured while playing with her food.
- “Slow. But steady.” Dana said while glaring at her.
- The family could already see the dynamics between them, they could almost laugh. The son turned to the girl and said,
- “Hey, uh, I know you think your instructor is giving you a hard time, but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.”
- “Mm-hmm mm…” Pomona moaned while slurping her bowl of stew and savoring the flavor of the meat. “What is this?”
- “That's Gosher Stew, it's our culture’s signature dish from Gosher.”
- “Gosher? Is that an all mortal country?”
- “Yes, we're just traveling to Agni for better work. A few family members, including my husband, are facing financial problems or are bedridden from an illness.” The mother said.
- Danu was eating his portion of the Gosher stew in huge spoonsful before saying, “You’re in luck. I’m from Agni. I may know a few sources who may help you out if you need any help in the near future if something happens.”
- “Thank you! We can keep in touch!”
- Pomona was busy slurping her bowl of the stew and smiled at the woman, “Ma’am… this is very good stew. Never did I had this before. It’s a lot better than what my master’s cook can make up.”
- Danu groaned mildly while eating his stew with the fish.
- “Thank you, that really means a lot.”
- “I wanna know the recipe.”
- “I can’t give you it because it’s secret family recipe. But the meat is the key. Plus, it’s delicious with warm bread or prepared as dumplings.”
- Danu raised his eyebrow.
