- Warning: there will be many spoilers here so don't read if you don't want spoiled.
- So the fight vs Lance played out like this:
- Lance sent out gyarados first. I sent out Luxray thinking that he's got this, one thunder fang should do it. Right? I was wrong, Gyarados was faster and earthquake's Luxray. At level 51, he didn't stand a chance. I send out Swellow in response, and one-shotting back with Return. If Luxray had a few more levels he would've out-sped. He didn't see much use as there wasn't many water or flying types to wreck.
- Next he sends out Aerodactyl. I send out Aggron to meet it on the field of battle, knowing that Aerodactyl can't really touch Aggron. I use the Rock-type Strength to damage it a little, saving my strength because of the past battles leaving me a little weakened, I wanted to save some Iron heads for later. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to KO, leaving it one hit away.
- He switched out for Charizard. Poor thing didn't even know what hit it. Critical hit Strength. 75 power+stab+4xSuper Effective+Critical hit = http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/gJe7fY-yowk/maxresdefault.jpg.
- I send out Ninetales to try to take a hit and heal up. Dragonite goes first and goes all out. Draco Meteor, on the other hand, brought me down to just under half and Hypnosis hit (Clutch). I heal up Swellow and get her ready to go. I also heal up Aggron just in case.
- I spent the other two turns Dragonite was asleep Dark Pulsing for nothing to get a clean switch. Naturally he Draco Meteored again, but I watched the health bar drain from green to yellow to red then KO. A critical hit, of course. After the special attack lowering, I switched Swellow in to finish the job. This Dragonite knows BLIZZARD. Swellow doesn't afraid of anything though and returns the favor. (Swellow is known as Yuki No Tori - Bird of Snow as a result, this had happened in the past, once at Pryce, once at Froslass and just now.)
- Imagine my face when I seen an even stronger Dragonite come out. I brought out Lucario for this very moment. I attempted to dragon pulse, but the extra eight levels made the difference, and he hit first. With earthquake. Lucario fell to the dragon. I attempted a calm mind with Espeon, but the dragon was just too powerful. At least Espeon made it up in the other fights.
- Then it hit me.
- I switch in Swellow and switched to Aggron because Swellow was already weak and didn't want to risk a stone edge, also not knowing just how fast this Dragonite was, hoping I can outsmart the AI. He didn't use earthquake. He used outrage. Aggron takes not one, but two of them in a row, striking back with: A NeverMeltIce Avalanche.
- Apparently Dragonites don't like cold weather, who knew?

- The final round was Weakened Aerodactyl vs Aggron. <Insert slaughter of flying types here>
