FrenchFroi enjoys taking things at his own pace. That might be why he got into his line of work in the first place. Being a combination gardener and alchemist growing food for the guests and reagents for enchanted soaps for the Inn might not [i]sound[/i] like a hectic sort of job to you ... and you'd be absolutely right. In fact, it's a pretty laid-back job and FrenchFroi is exactly suited to doing it.

Make no mistake, without FrenchFroi's contributions, the Frozen Hide's clients wouldn't smell [i]nearly[/i] as good, nor feel nearly as revitalised (or musical, or lucky at cards, or some hundred other qualities depending on what soap goes in what room). Nor would they have much for the vegetarian options on the menu. Still, it's not exactly the kind of job that's on the cutting edge of anything, and it gives FrenchFroi a lot of free time (at least, time which he categorises as free).

In between waiting for this or that plant or reagent to grow or reduce or bind one thing to another, FrenchFroi maintains an elaborate inner fantasy world. Most of it seems to concern the mysterious two-foots from his favourite historical pulp fiction series. Between us and the tomatoes, FrenchFroi likes to imagine himself as a powerful two-foot wizard, staff in hand, cape billowing in an eternal wind, and a noble and beautiful member of maren royalty by his side.
