Ability Scores: You begin with 5 points per attribute, with an additional 5 points to be distributed, for a total of 45 points. Every time you level up, you will be given an extra point to spend. Every point beyond 5 grants a +1 bonus. Every point below 5 penalizes you by -1. Certain rolls may also penalize you for being below 5. You may take points away from one role to be spent elsewhere, although you should keep in mind that reaching stat zero can result in fatal consequences. Also do keep in mind that individual attributes cannot go lower than 0 or higher than 10, so any bonuses or penalties beyond those are simply ignored. Do not apply ability bonuses obtained from classes/races, as I will do them after you submit your character sheet!
