GDQ Picks

10/3 Update:

I've looked over the list a bit more and here are more thoughts:

-Home Improvement: Power Tool Pursuit looks hilarious
-Mario Party mini game island would be seeet
-started playing Ori this week and now I need to see it
-I want a Plague Knight race for Shovel Knight
-don't really want Paper Mario
-really want Mario 3D world
-OoT any% no wrong warp? Under an hour? This I've gotta see

As much as I'd love to see All Stars, the individual game submissions are just too strong. I think those get in. Also no way on barney no controller. Chinese SMW is too memey.

No way DKC2 co-op gets in. They won't put in 2 DKC2 runs and our submission was sloppy. We need to do 2p1c to have a shot. I also put my Snoopy run at *maybe* a 5% chance at best. So I'm really not expecting to be playing in this. I'm definitely expecting to call that DKC relay race though. Since I'm the person who coordinated that whole thing, I basically view it as my submission, and I'm pretty confident in it.

MY GDQ Picks

I was pretty excited about a lot of the submissions for AGDQ. So I went through the list and made *my* picks! Yes, some of these are pretty extreme wishful thinking. Yes, some of them are put there only because a friend of mine is the submitter. But also, yes, some of them I think actually are pretty reasonable. This wouldn't fill out a full schedule, it's about 85 hours or so. But if even 50% of these games get in, this will be a great marathon.

*Please don't be offended if one of your submissions isn't in here. Most of these games are ones that I have a personal connection to. And even if I *do* have a personal connection to you, this isn't a rejection of you personally if you're not here. I did *not* watch all the videos or consult a list of what's been in past GDQs. This is just me having some fun.*
