I took a glance through some of my previous books, and Naganami showed up only rarely. Thank you for your loyal readership.
I just read through Maison Ikkoku - it's really good. While reading that particular passage, the idea to make a book based on Naganami-sama struck me...
Still, watching Naganami's admiral step on the landmine of talking about another man really makes you feel sorry... but then again, it was his choice to be her admiral...

Naganami's been speaking about Rear Admiral Tanaka with wholehearted respect up until now, but when I actually did the research for this I found that records actually suggest his values diverged quite markedly from his comrades? That's the feeling I have now. But I enjoyed learning more and rethinking my impression of him as I drew this book.
