  2. Hey Seki, thank you for talking with us today. I'm not sure if you feel the same, but I don't think anything was resolved. I understand that the intention of the co-op channels is to facilitate conversation about the game, but tbh much of the social aspect of the game comes from this community and being able to talk freely with each other. It is through the random chatter that a lot of us became friends because we dislike the atmosphere generated by players that keep the chat to strictly the game and only care about if we beat the quest or not. We don't use the channels when we are not actively playing together, but when quests are easy, or we've followed a turn by turn guide 20 times and don't need to discuss any details about the run itself, it becomes very unlikely we need to discuss something about the game that cannot be achieved through in-game commands (reminding someone to fever/defend/etc..).

  4. Ultimately you are the admin and the final decision goes to you guys, but the social aspect of the game is as important to the game for us as the gameplay itself. I don't agree with every rule on the server, but I will follow them, however this one really impacts adversely our enjoyment of the game/community. Can you please reconsider your stance on this? If not I would like the opinion of Asmo on this topic.

  6. Hey Rec, my apologies for the huge barge-in earlier today. What I was trying to tell you all was to keep the channel on topic to some extent, by no means is idle chatter not allowed; in fact it's completely fine. For one, I believe my point didn't come across as totally clear to some of you, do forgive my inexperience.

  8. It felt like to me the room was being used for the wrong reason, surely you saw it a little too right? What should've been a normal coop run filled with wonderful discussion and preparation to progress swiftly through each floor was instead a flood of other things.
  9.
  10. To sum it up, talking freely in co-op rooms is allowed. However, they are not a place to hangout without being in some sort of team. I misunderstood the situation at first because of not knowing if they were teamed up or not, quite frankly it was impossible to tell with all of the other chatter going on at that moment. I also felt like there was some underlying problem that was left unresolved. Thanks for contacting me on this matter, I like getting the opinions of bystanders for incidents like these.
  11. if there's anything you're still unclear on feel free to talk a little more with me
  12. just write your thoughts here, i'll read them sometime soon

  14. one more thing
  15. Frankly, a lot of what I said to you all earlier could've been considered "false". That's probably what's weighing on your mind now, I will agree to that. My mind took off and went straight to being a stickler for the rules, again sorry for the whole misunderstanding. I hope we can come to some sort of an agreement.

  21. I can see a bit more where you are coming from. Maybe not in that particular channel, but Yody/Ruf/I will often lurk in a co-op channel while at work and end up chatting to the people in the channel that are in a game. Given what you said above, you are saying that this is not allowed?

  23. It's okay to chat around a little, exceptions can be made in cases like these. But something to watch out for would be derailing the channel too much if that's understandable. Again it's something you have to keep in moderation, just don't go overboard and everything's okay. :ok_hand:
  24. I was at a complete loss for the situation earlier, my mind went straight at it as I said. Again forgive my inexperience, I hope my image hasn't been sullied too much. :bowrapu:(edited)
