Renko Midou

The much younger sister of Ayame’s mother, Tsubaki Midou.
After Tsubaki passed away, she took over as head of the family and is in charge of managing the Midou family’s fortune.
Because she didn’t get along well with Tsubaki, she has conflicted feelings over being forced to take care of Ayame, who she can’t exactly find herself to hate but has trouble feeling fond of her as well.

- Both Tsubaki and Renko were born during when the world was struggling with the decreasing population, and thus were part of the last generation to be born from natural pregnancy.
Nowadays, technology has advanced to the point where children can be born between only women, but before that, one would have to go through multiple hoops including making applications and attending obstetrics examinations before giving birth.

- Tsubaki Midou died at the age of 104, but from a public point of view, many felt that she died at a pretty early age considering her wealth.
Due to progressions in the medical field, the average lifespan had reached the range of around 70-120. The variance was quite large.
Furthermore, thanks to aesthetic medicine and anti-aging technology, as long as one had the money, they could maintain their youthful look for as long as they wanted.
Also, because there are now many opportunities for people to go out into space, the Urashima effect has caused people’s biological age to differ from their actual age.

Captain

The captain of the Scrap Scavengers Ship, aka the Resource Collecting Ship.
Due to it being a privately owned ship, everything they gathered would be sold to places like recycling shops. Has been part of many crews and ships ever since the latter end of the space development age. Not very particular on rules, often just goes with what’s ever more convenient.

Leader

A huge veteran that has worked in space since the peak of the space development age. She’s an old acquaintance of the captain, and she was scouted when the current shit was purchase.
Often gets into fights with the captain for not being strict enough.
Her work uniform is her own personal powered suit.

Zoey/Esla

They’re both part of the Rank 2 crew.
In terms of her “special services”, Zoey is quite popular as somewhat of a dominatrix.
The blonde Esla is a technician, and is popular with the more submissive girls. Since their clients don’t overlap, they get along well.
When they enjoy casual sex with each other, for some reason Esla becomes the bottom.

One of Ayame’s regular customers. Rank 3 crew.
Was involved with an explosion accident in the past.
She treated the wounds on her face immediately, and planned on saving up enough money to treat the scars on her body as well, but has lately stopped caring much about that.
She finds getting into a relationship to be too troublesome, so she just wants to casually have fun with the girls she finds attractive.

One of Ayame’s regular customers. Used to be part of the Rank 2 crew, but the pay as working as an engineer was better.
(Because Ayame’s fees are pretty high, most of her customers are usually part of the higher ranked crews.)
She adores the kind of “rich girl” aura Ayame sometimes gives off, and is one of Ayame’s best customers who never cheats on her.

- The rank of the Scrap Scavenger crew members can be determined by the amount of horizontal stripes on their space uniform and work uniform.
Those with more than 3 stripes are veterans who have been part of the crew for an exceptionally long time.
The captain bought the uniforms for the ship from a place that was selling them in bulk for cheap because they had too many of them left over, and the crew often makes fun of each other for how lame they look.

Mofu (Nickname)

A space lifeform discovered on Space Area 3 Planet N45 (also known as the Abandoned Mine Planet).
They live off the carbonic acid coming from the underground.
As of right now, there are many unknown characteristics and features of these creatures that don’t seem like they’d be a threat to humans, so it’s been decided that a longer period of observation is necessary.
They normally just crawl about, but at times they’d use their tails to perform large jumps.
Their intelligence is quite low, and they seem to grow attached to humans easily, so it could be that they might become a popular pet of the new age after they their investigation is finished.
