  1. >"Diamond Tiara keeps hitting me!" Shouts a filly from her desk.
  2. >"Am not!" Diamond Tiara throws her twelfth paper ball at her when no one's looking.
  3. >"Scootaloo won't share the glue and crayons!" Cries a colt.
  4. >He whines when Scootaloo grabs his last crayon off of his desk.
  5. >"Sthop it Sihlver Shpoon!" Twist cries. Silver has the little filly's glasses and is keeping them from her.
  6. >Today's class seems particularly stressful. It's as if everyone was hyped up on sugar.
  7. >It didn't help that Pinkie came by and gave the whole class cupcakes.
  8. >You grimace as you watch Scootaloo eat the crayons she glued together.
  9. >At this point you can't tell if she's retarded, or if there was something in those sweet treats.
  10. >But if there is something you can understand, it's that Ms. Cheerilee is losing it.
  11. >For the past few minutes she's been trying to teach the class the Quadratic Formula
  12. >These interruptions are causing her to stop every few seconds and its aggravating her.
  13. >She's already gotten onto them multiples times and she's assigned extra homework to the repeat offenders.
  14. >But they aren't stopping, it's as if these kids have no off switch.
  15. >When the little fat colt shoots a spitball at the black board Cheerilee's eye begins to twitch.
  16. >Then, she snaps her pointing stick in her hooves. You can hear the teeth grinding from your desk.
  17. >That's when you decide that it's time to employ your expertise.
  18. >You grab your trusty yard stick, stand up, and slam it down on top of your desk.
  19. >The resounding crack echoes throughout the room, causing all the foals to silence themselves.
  20. >They look to you with fear filled eyes. Good, they've learned about what happens when they make you mad.
  21. >You are Anonymous, and you're a Teacher's Assistant who embraces the old way of reprimanding kids.
  22.
  23. >"Now that I have your attention, please be quiet." You lean over your desk and narrow your eyes.
  24. >"If you don't, I'm going to have to use the yard stick." Your threats garner a collective gasp from the foals.
  25. >They promptly silence themselves, pull out quills and parchment, and turn their attention to Cheerilee.
  26. >Good, they know what will happen if you have to reprimand them past a verbal warning.
  27. >Not that you've actually employed your yard stick, but you will if things get out of hand.
  28. >It's a good thing they listen, or else you'd have an assembly line of flanks waiting to be smacked.
  29. >"I believe they're ready to learn." You stay to Cheerilee before sitting back down at your desk.
  30. >She clears her throat, "Yes, thank you Anonymous, now as I was saying-"
  31. >You pull a mystery novel out of one of your desk drawers and begin reading.
  32. >She only needed you to act tough and you played your part well.
  33. >Unfortunately Cheerilee is a little too nice for her own good.
  34. >While it's a good trait to have, these little ponies seem to like taking advantage of that.
  35. >It's a good thing she brought you in when she did, these ponies are in desperate need of proper discipline.
  36. >Just like those kids you used to look after back on Earth with the last teacher you helped out.
  37. >You're glad things are generally the same or else you'd have no purpose here.
  38. >But those are thoughts best saved for some other day.
  39. >For now, your detective book requires your time and effort.
  40. >The next few hours trudge by slowly, allowing you to really get soaked into this novel.
  41. >You can't believe that these ponies overlooked all of those clues.
  42. >Thank Celestia for Sherlock Hooves and Dr. Trotson.
  43. >As you flip another page your attention is finally torn away by Cheerilee.
  44. >"Anonymous, class has been dismissed." You put your book down and look around.
  45. >"So I see, I trust none of them bothered you?" Cheerilee shakes her head.
  46.
  47. >"That's great, it means I did my job." You're about to get up but Cheerilee stops you.
  48. >"What is it?" You watch as Cheerilee grabs her chair and pulls it up to your desk.
  49. >She sits opposite of you. She leans in, places her hooves upon your desk, and sighs.
  50. >"I need to talk with you about your methods."
  51. >Judging by her tone and body language she doesn't seem to happy.
  52. >"What about them?"
  53. >"Hmm, let's see. You stand up and tower over little foals, threaten them with physical punishment, and to top it all off you command respect while doing it."
  54. >Just from her gaze alone you can tell where this is going.
  55. >You've had to deal with a similar problem back on Earth.
  56. >The majority of teachers you've worked with have had a problem with you in one way or another.
  57. >All they saw was the fear you made the children feel, and as a result you've been let go.
  58. >It was disheartening, but there were always schools out there that didn't mind hiring you on.
  59. >But, if Cheerilee here doesn't like it there isn't another school you can go to. At least not in this town.
  60. >"So, what seems to be the problem?" You're doing your best to hide your nervousness.
  61. >"There isn't one," you breathe a sigh of relief, "It's amazing that you haven't even punished a foal, yet none of them dare go against you."
  62. >You find yourself hanging on her every word as she goes on about you.
  63. >"But there's more to it then that. While you can seem threatening there hasn't been a time where you haven't helped a student who's asked... you've shown you can be kind too."
  64. >"Well of course, the yard stick is a last resort. It pains me when I have to punish children in that manner. I'd like to avoid it if at all possible, but some won't learn without the threat of being punished looming over their heads. I'm just glad I haven't had to use it yet."
  65. >She nods, agreeing with you.
  66.
  67. >"It seems like you've found a great balance."
  68. >"Indeed I have. If you are truly willing to learn I'll help however I can, but if you're being rowdy be prepared to face the consequences."
  69. >You find a lazy smile form upon her lips and you find yourself smiling in turn.
  70. >"I'm a little jealous."
  71. >Now that's something that surprises you.
  72. >"You are?"
  73. >"Uh huh. You saw what happened today, none of them would listen to me no matter how many times I reprimanded them. Yet in five seconds you stopped the problem entirely."
  74. >"Well, if you want I could teach you how I go about doing things. About how to be kind and how to show tough love towards the students."
  75. >Her eyes seem to light up, and her smile widens at the prospect.
  76. >"That... that would be wonderful. You could go over your methods in detail while I take notes!"
  77. >She giggles at the prospect of being a student again.
  78. >"I like your enthusiasm Ms. Cheerilee."
  79. >"You can drop the 'miss' if you'd like, in fact I'd prefer it if you did."
  80. >"Alright then Cheerilee, when are you available?"
  81. >You see a tint of pink line her cheeks before she turns away and mutters something to herself.
  82. >"What was that? I didn't hear you."
  83. >She jumps a little in her seat before turning to you.
  84. >"Oh, what I said was... was that tonight would be fine... if you come to my house we could discuss it over dinner?"
  85. >You can see she's quite nervous over asking you about something like this.
  86. >"I'd love to." You swear you can hear something quite close to a squee after you answer.
  87. >"Great! Well... I'll see you in a few hours?"
  88. >"I'll be there around seven."
  89. >"Alright then, I'll get home and prep."
  90. >"Sounds good to me."
  91. >"Bye Anon."
  92. >"See ya in a few."
  93. >With that she gets to her hooves and trots to the door.
  94. >When she's out of earshot she giggles excitedly before making her way home.
  95.
  96. >The hours come and go as you spend your time going home, showering, and preparing your clothes for tonight.
  97. >You've never been to Cheerilee's house for this reason before
  98. >Usually it's just to grade papers, or to discuss assignments with her.
  99. >This is totally different from that, and needless to say you're a little nervous.
  100. >She seemed happy to know you were coming by, and admittedly you were too.
  101. >You have your eye on that mare for quite a while.
  102. >Kind, headstrong, patient, and above all a good pony to be around.
  103. >She knew what it took to get things done, but it just wasn't in her nature when it came to certain things.
  104. >Discipline was one of those things, she's seen you work your magic before.
  105. >But there was something keeping her from following through. You'll find out about that tonight.
  106. >As you button up your shirt and put on your sweater vest you can't help but feel as though it suits you.
  107. >You're not dressing to impress the mare, after all you've gone through that portion of your life years ago.
  108. >The grey hairs that dot your scalp attest to that.
  109. >You're only in your mid to late thirties but work related stress saw to making you seem older.
  110. >Try as you might, staying in shape can only do so much. You take your time examining yourself in the mirror.
  111. >Your physique is passable, but the lines on your face and the bags underneath your eyes seem to ruin that.
  112. >You're not that 'attractive' guy you were back in college.
  113. >It helps that Cheerilee probably can't discern what's an attractive human and what isn't.
  114. >Wait, why are you thinking so much into this anyway, it's not as if you're going on an actual date.
  115. >Silly Anonymous, all you're doing is having dinner with her, then acting as her tutor.
  116. >Nothing more nothing less... but the way she looked at you, and the blushing.... you sigh.
  117. >"Well, here goes nothing." You finished getting dressed and head on out into the cool night air.
  118.
  119. >As you're making your way over to Cheerilee's she's having a panic attack.
  120. >Even with Berry Punch helping her out she's a nervous wreck.
  121. >"Oh my goodness what do I wear?!" Cheerilee is currently throwing clothes out of her closet.
  122. >"Cheer, seriously, calm down. You're naked most of the time anyway." Berry's stuck dodging dresses.
  123. >"Wait, you're right what am I thinking?" Berry breathes a sigh of relief as the torrent of clothes stop coming.
  124. >"Might wanna do something about that grey streak in your mane though."
  125. >Cheerilee's jaw drops before she clamors over to a mirror.
  126. >When she sees that Berry is only joking she shoots her a death glare.
  127. >Berry can't seem to stop laughing long enough to take her seriously.
  128. >"That's not funny."
  129. >"Oh yes it is, come on calm down Cheerie-buns."
  130. >"B-but what if he doesn't even like mares-
  131. >"You saying he's a Colt Cuddler?"
  132. >"NO!" Berry seems taken aback by her immediate, and loud response.
  133. >"I meant... mares like me."
  134. >Berry waves a hoof dismissively.
  135. >"Oh come on girl you've still got it."
  136. >"I'm not so sure about that..."
  137. >"Well... can you still do that one thing you did back at university?"
  138. >"What thing?"
  139. >"You know... the thing that involved you being flexible..."
  140. >"..."
  141. >"I'll take that as a yes. Cheerie if all else fails all you have to do is bend over and wrap your hooves around your back ones."
  142. >Cheerilee's entire face turns red from embarrassment. Berry bursts out laughing yet again.
  143. >"And don't forget to smile and wink... and I'm not talkin about your eye sister!"
  144. >"You are a horrible friend."
  145. >"I know you don't mean that."
  146. >The sound of knocking causes both to freeze.
  147. >"Oh buck he's here!"
  148. >"Hurry up and get downstairs Cheerie I'll set the table!"
  149. >Both mares rush out of the room.
  150.
  151. >You can hear the sound of hooves moving about as you wait outside.
  152. >With this momentary pause you look over yourself one last time to make sure everything's in order.
  153. >You aren't exactly Canterlot material but you're not dressed like a bum either. It'll do.
  154. >After a minute or so the door opens revealing Cheerilee, she looks up to you with a nervous grin.
  155. >You can see the sweat upon her brow, but you make no note of it.
  156. >"Good Evening Cheerilee,"
  157. >"Hey, glad you could make it. Please, come in." Cheerilee moves out of the way for you and you enter.
  158. >As you step through the threshold, and when she shuts the door behind you, your senses are treated to a delightful scent.
  159. >In her living room you can smell a subtle hint of lilac is in the air giving you a sense of calm.
  160. >Though the same same can't be said of the dinner that's permeating from the nearby dining room.
  161. >If anything it's causing your stomach to rumble. Now that you think about it you haven't eaten anything since lunch.
  162. >Needless to say you're fairly hungry, but there's something you need to get straightened out first.
  163. >You squat down to Cheerilee's level, "So, how are we doing this?"
  164. >"I was thinking, we have dinner and discuss what you'll teach me. Then you'll demonstrate after we're done. Sound good?"
  165. >"I can work with that." As she leads you into the dining room you can't help but notice a small stack of books set upon her couch.
  166. >Seems like she's gotten a bit of a head start, but it's one thing to read about it and another to perform it.
  167. >As you step into the dining room the source of the delightful aroma is laid bare.
  168. >Two bowls of soup, two... wine glasses, and a bottle of white wine.
  169. >The chandelier hanging above is set low enough to where the lighting seems to pull off a more intimate setting.
  170. >"Damn it Berry I said to save the wine..." Cheerilee whispers.
  171.
  172. >"What was that?" You heard her say something under her breath.
  173. >"Nothing! I... uh... I hope you aren't allergic to oregano or anything like that."
  174. >"Not at all, the only thing I'm allergic to doesn't exist here."
  175. >"That's good, please take a seat." You decide to pour on the gentlemanly charm a little.
  176. >That means you walk over to her chair and pull it out for her.
  177. >"Oh my what a gentlecolt~" Her comment causes heat to rise to your cheeks.
  178. >She wastes no time in picking up on your gracious action. She sits and you push her chair in for her.
  179. >Then you sit in yours, lucky for you she's got a chair made for you. You get to eat in comfort.
  180. >Before the two of you dig in the aroma seems to captivate you.
  181. >A light hint of garlic with parmesan cheese, and... turkey?
  182. >You lean in and inhale, both turkey and chicken went into this.
  183. >"What'd you put in this?" You ask curiously, though you're sure you already know the answer to that.
  184. >"The recipe called for garlic, Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, eggs, and a few other things."
  185. >You wait for her to get onto the subject of the meat.
  186. >"Oh, I put turkey and chicken in yours. I remember you telling me that you hardly get meat anymore."
  187. >Admittedly its a pleasant surprise that she'd go the extra mile just for you.
  188. >"Thanks Cheerilee, I know you probably felt uncomfortable buying this stuff."
  189. >"It's no problem at all." You smile before picking up a spoonful of your meal.
  190. >When it hits your tongue it takes almost everything you have to keep from digging in like a maniac.
  191. >The flavor seems to dance gracefully upon your tongue and all too soon it's over as soon as you swallow.
  192. >Cheerilee can see the hunger in your eyes and it causes her to titter lightly.
  193. >"Is it that good?"
  194. >"Cheerilee it's delicious."
  195. >"Glad to hear it."
  196. >She takes a spoonful of her own, she's delighted that she was able to cook a passable meal for you.
  197.
  198. >It isn't long before the two of you start getting down to business.
  199. >You start off by discussing proper posture, followed by tone inflection.
  200. >That further leads into disciplinary actions followed by rewards for good behavior.
  201. >You have to have a balance, both rewards and punishments must be equalized.
  202. >That way those that are good keep being good and the ones that are rowdy learn to not be so.
  203. >The way her eyes bore into yours as you speak you can tell she's absorbing this information like a sponge.
  204. >It's almost as if she truly is a student. As your bowls become empty the wine moves into the fray.
  205. >You've decided that'd it'd be best to switch your conversation to the living room.
  206. >After clearing off the table and taking care of the dishes the two of you do make yourselves comfortable on her couch.
  207. >With each sip of wine another bit of knowledge is passed on...
  208. >After a while the wine bottle seems to be getting to the point of being empty, and at this point you're feeling fairly warm and light headed.
  209. >It's the most relaxed you've been in a month, you could say the same of Cheerilee.
  210. >She's got a tired smile on her face and she's leaning into you a bit.
  211. >Her Cerise colored coat is soft to the touch and feels pleasant against your hands.
  212. >"How're you feeling Cheer?"
  213. >"Pretty good, how about you?"
  214. >"Same." You trail your fingers through her coat, eliciting a soft moan of contentment from the mare.
  215. >"That feels nice..." She trails off, as she nuzzles into your side the gravity of the situation has dawned on you.
  216. >Your heart is pounding in your chest and you can't help but stare down at the mare next to you.
  217. >You've since stopped talking and have been simply enjoying each other's company in relative silence.
  218. >"Hey Anon~" her voice is like honey to your ears, only causing your heart to beat faster.
  219.
  220. >"Yes?" She tilts her head to look up at you.
  221. >"Have you... enjoyed working with me?" You nod.
  222. >"Well, yeah. Your class is pleasant, the students seem bright for the most part, and they're shaping up to be wonderful, polite foals... when they aren't eating cupcakes."
  223. >You answer causes Cheerilee to giggle before shaking her head.
  224. >You can feel sweat form upon your brow.
  225. >"No Anon... I was talking about me." You gulp.
  226. >"Oh, well then..." Cheerilee's smile slowly fades from her face.
  227. >"Is there something wrong?" Nothing could be further from it, you're just worried about how she'll react.
  228. >"Not at all, I'm just having trouble putting it into words is all."
  229. >"Oh?"
  230. >"To start off, you're level-headed, you're sweet-" You feel her shift next to you. You look down to find her smile has returned."
  231. >"Go on~" You feel as though you've been put on the spot, you might as well see it through.
  232. >"You're caring, especially with the kids."
  233. >As you start listing off her qualities you can feel her slowly inching her way towards your face.
  234. >When you feel her breath against your neck you look down to find her muzzle inches from your lips.
  235. >"Ch- Cheerilee-" Anything further is muffled as she brings her lips to yours.
  236. >As she presses in you inhale sharply through your nose. You weren't expecting anything like this.
  237. >Her soft coat sends shivers coursing through you.
  238. >It doesn't take long for you to wrap your hands around her and return it with as much passion as she's giving.
  239. >You turn your body so she can sit in your lap, slowly but surely she pushes you until you're lying upon your back.
  240. >Her warm, wet tongue lightly dances your lips looking to enter.
  241. >You believe that it is in terrible taste to keep a lady waiting.
  242. >When you part your lips she wastes no time in exploring the depths of your mouth.
  243.
  244. >It doesn't take long for you to realize that pony tongues are much larger than a human's.
  245. >While your tongue wrestles with hers, it doesn't take long for her to overpower you.
  246. >She dominates the kiss, her tongue tasting every inch with ease.
  247. >Cheerilee seems almost... hungry, starving even. As though she's desperate for your affection.
  248. >Her breathing becomes rapid, her reluctance to break the kiss apparent.
  249. >The delightful scent of her hair, those lust-filled eyes that bore into yours.
  250. >If she isn't going to stop then neither are you...
  251. >Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, when the two of you finally part lips you're panting, she is as well.
  252. >"That... that was..." she starts, "amazing."
  253. >"Incredible." You add.
  254. >When her breathing finally slows she takes to trailing a hoof along your chest, her eyes half lidded...
  255. >You can almost feel the devious nature behind that stare of hers.
  256. >"...you know, it may be the wine talking... but there's something you've forgotten to do."
  257. >"And what could that be?"
  258. >"You told me about all the things I could do without giving a proper demonstration."
  259. >"What do you mean...?"
  260. >"For example... when a student is a bit too... out of hand you discipline them right?"
  261. >You nod, when you do she reaches under the couch, she shows you the yard stick she had under it.
  262. >"Well... I believe I need you to show me what it is you do with this..."
  263. >"Really?"
  264. >"Uh huh. I've been pretty bad... don't you think?"
  265. >She smiles slyly before winking.
  266. >You know exactly what she's hinting at, and you're more than willing to show her what you do.
  267. >As you sit up and take hold of the yard stick you can't help but feel a little sorry for her.
  268. >Little Ms. Cheerilee is in for a rough night...
  269.
