BACKGROUND : taehee was born and raised in gyeonggi-do, south korea. as a child, she was always very quiet. while the other kids were outside doing sports and playing games, she preferred to stay inside and read a book or maybe draw a picture. she was the girl who everyone knew the name of, but couldn't put a face to. her sister - seulgi - on the other hand, was everyone's favorite golden child. there wasn't a single person who didn't know who she was. this was always the case from the moment she stepped foot in the room on her first day of preschool and continued all the way until she became a trainee under sm. growing up, taehee was always constantly overshadowed by her sister, despite her being older. in school, she was always referred to as "seulgi's sister." although she was never mad at her sister, it was a little annoying to be constantly compared to her. especially when she debuted with red velvet. when she hears sm was holding auditions, it was seulgi who convinced her to audition. taehee had always liked to sing, but it was more of a hobby than a passion. however she knew her sister wasn't going to give up so she auditioned and officially became a trainee at age 18. during her trainee period, she managed to make a couple of friends. she was especially close with a girl named gayoung. this was the closest she had ever been to anybody (excluding her sister) and these two were basically connected at the hip. however gayoung suddenly began suffering from panic attacks and would occasionally have to be hospitalized for them. this was all because of a particular dance instructor that would constantly yell at her and single her out in classes. she called gayoung derogatory names and mocked her in front of the rest of the trainees. gayoung's condition eventually became too severe for her to continue training and she was forced to leave. when taehee confronted the company about the instructor's behavior, she was simply written off as "unable to handle a little bit of harshness." from then on, taehee despised sm and everything it stood for but continued training (and eventually debut) in gayoung's honor. she was featured in shinee's "view" music video.

PERSONALITY :
	when you first meet taehee, you probably won't notice her. one, due to her rather petite build. and two, due to her lack of presence. after living in someone else's shadow for so long, she really learned how to blend in with the background. she doesn't speak much, but don't let that fool you. on the occasion that she does speak, expect snarky disses and sarcasm. she absolutely has no respect toward the older members and often bullies them (with love). although she means well, taehee can be a little harsh and has trouble sympathizing emotionally to things. she tends to think logically rather than sentimentally. if someone says something stupid, she tells them right away or flat-out ignores them. she is often accused of being a bitch by the public and gets criticized by netizens. however this is not the case at all. taehee has trouble expressing her feelings through words which comes off as very stiff and brusque. she hates embarrassing herself so she just tends to not say anything, which can often be interpreted as rude if someone is talking to her. she finds it difficult to get along with new people so she is extremely loyal and clingy to the people who she is already comfortable with. since she specializes in obtaining information, taehee is a very good listener. most people don't even notice that she's eavesdropping on their conversation due to her lack of presence (that she is always using to her advantage). she can be quite manipulative and will even resort to blackmail to get information she needs.

	yixing is a rather unique human being. no one ever really knows what he's thinking and he's a bit of a wildcard. he's always spacing out and in a totally different world. he doesn't really care what people think of him and only wants to make the people he cares about happy. he probably one of the most selfless and passionate people you will ever meet. he may not be the smartest, but his genuineness and work ethic make up for it. he puts 250% into everything he does, no matter how trivial. he is extremely humble as well, always thinking of ways he could do better. however he is also quite stubborn, which isn't always a good thing. he often ignores his health and pushes himself too much, resulting in injuries and sickness.

HOW YOU MET | MEET :
	they met at a hotel that both groups happened to be staying at. the two were coincidentally at the breakfast area and they both reached for the last blueberry muffin. at first, they didn't recognize each other due to both being heavily disguised in hats, face masks, etc. yixing, of course, kindly offered the muffin to her and she thanked him before taking it and splitting it in half. she gave the larger portion to him and then simply grabbed a banana muffin before leaving.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS :
	↪ yixing - he didn't know who she was. even though she was decked out in black (just like him) and was wearing basically what he was, it didn't register in his mind that she could've been someone from plus - as he heard that they were staying in the same hotel. he didn't hesitate to give up the muffin first and was thoroughly surprised when she gave him half. he thought it was very kind of her and didn't even have time to thank her before she left.

	↪ taehee - she didn't recognize him either as she had woken up like ten minutes ago and wasn't focused on anything but getting food. she was still groggy from sleep and just wanted to get in and get out as fast as possible so she could return to bed. when she realized that the stranger was also going after her muffin, she was immediately annoyed. however when he quickly gave it up, she began to feel bad so she split it with him. embarrassed, she quickly grabbed a random muffin and walked away.
HOW YOU ACT AROUND EACH OTHER :
	↪ taehee - yixing perplexes her. his nature and way of thinking is basically the polar opposite of hers. he values emotions while she relies on logic. in the beginning, she was very respectful and polite toward him. or at least she tried to be. every time they saw each other, it usually consisted of an obligatory greeting and some small talk. as they get to know each other more, she grows a little bit more frustrated. this is due to the fact that she can't really understand his train of thought and it confuses her. once they reach friendship status, she begins to act a little more comfortable around him. she is constantly messing around with him and joking about his ditziness. even though she's more of a tough love kind of person, taehee treasures him as a friend and deeply cares about him. she is always looking out for him, being the first one to defend him when people talk shit about him or fixing his hair/clothes/makeup whenever she sees something wrong. however she gets angry at him often, especially when he gets sick or injures himself. yixing makes her mad in general, to be honest.

	↪ yixing - much like taehee, she confused him. in beginning, he always thought she was kind of robotic whenever he spoke to her. she was eerily monotone and didn't have much reaction to things. he also noted that she got embarrassed quite easily (basically the only emotion he saw from her) and had a tendency to run, which he thought was kind of funny and cute. as they talk more, he can kind of sense that she's getting irritated, but he doesn't know why. when she finally tells him, he responds with his infamous blank stare. once they're friends, he doesn't mind her jokes and just lets her do whatever she wants. many onlookers question why he lets her treat him like that, but he knows that taehee - while a little rough around the edges - genuinely means well and is a very good person.

	after taehee finds out that it was yixing whom she had met at breakfast, she is absolutely mortified. luckily since they were in the same company, she was able to track him down to apologize. it was actually quite awkward since she accidentally intruded on exo's rehearsal. thankfully, they were basically finished anyway. she quickly apologized for being disrespectful at the hotel and not greeting him properly. much to her horror, he had completely forgotten about the incident and was confused. she literally turned the color of a tomato before apologizing again and leaving.
