1. I'm sad GDQ is becoming so huge because I don't really like cons and just wanna hang out with my friends from all around the world. Still, this is the obvious direction they're going in and trying to limit them in any way would just kind of kill them. On that note, there's basically no chance I'll be going to SGDQ 2018 (and probably ESA too) since I have multiple fresh and exciting trips planned for next summer.

2. Yes, it is stupid to get angry because someone said a word. It's far more stupid to get angry that people are angry about someone saying a word. If people are upset about something, it costs you literally nothing to stop doing the thing that upset people. Your freedom of speech isn't under attack, people are just telling you to act like a fucking adult.
