  1. Name: Kasey Laine
  2.
  3. Age: 23
  4.
  5.
  6. Appearance: Somewhat emaciated, with ribs clearly poking beneath the pale skin. Obviously anorexic, with sunken and gaunt cheeks. Her light, blonde hair is somewhat limp and unkempt due to poor eating habits. Hair is typically done up in a pony tail, while her sunken eyes are grey.
  7.
  8. Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  9.
  10. Backstory: Kasey grew up with the average life of an average teenage girl. naturally, this meant that the poor girl was raised within your usual teenage drama. As a young'un, she was always a bit on the pudgy side, and it only took a few frequent insults to snap the poor girl's fragile self-image into developing an eating disorder and a habit of losing weight. Simple as that. Over the years of living off candy bars and stress eating ice cream, Kasey had quickly begun to loose weight. With her smaller size and slimmer figure, the boys and girls had stopped teasing her about her image.
  11.
  12. Even then, that didn't stop Kasey from looking in the mirror and finding that small potbelly. The pudgy lovehandles at her sides. She didn't see the ribs that showed through her skin; no no, those were busy being disguised by the image of body fat covering her frail frame. Kasey began to turn to purging later, and as time went on, the first signs of her rapidly declining health began to show. Her skin grew sallow while her hair fell in a few small clumps from her head, only adding to her ugly self image. It was when she fainted shortly after choking up blood that her problems were confronted and uncovered, leading to her being sent straight into the hospital.
  13.
  14. Food began to repulse Kasey more and more, and it grew more apparent when she was forced to suffer a feeding tube being jammed down her throat. When she returned from the hospital, her small circle of friends had heard of her issues from her parents, and confronted her in an intervention. One that wasn't your usual 'you have a problem', but one that lead to the girls just spending time and heading out to eat at a restaurant -- Kasey'd HAVE to eat in front of her friends, right? Overcoming the challenge of her self-image was difficult, but thanks to her friends, she managed to beat her anorexia. Not eating meant another tube down the throat, after all, and she was never going to let that happen to her again! This paired with the guilt of not eating in front of her friends lead to her eating much more than before.
  15.
  16. Besides, food was beginning to taste much better. It no longer began to disgust her. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Leafs were tasty, crisp and crunchy. Meat was tender, succulent, and delectable. She found herself enjoying her life much more, and in time, those ribs had begun to slowly hide themselves. She didn't care as much about her self image at this point, she was free to eat and enjoy her life as she pleased. Then, one day, at the restaurant...
  17.
  18. Kasey had chosen to order something she'd been enjoying for quite a while. A simple chicken caesar salad. She happily ate and chatted with her friends as she munched upon the leaves. As she found herself munching upon her food, Kasey's teeth felt something stringy and difficult to chew in her mouth. Wincing and rolling the tongue into her cheek, she'd cough a bit, earning a few cautious looks from her friends before she stares at everyone in a bit of shock and horror. She'd pull a string of human hair from her mouth. It destroyed her appetite instantly.
  19.
  20. Overwhelmed with the frustration for not having the gall to eat after that, she calmly handed the salad back in and shut herself down for most of that day. Her friends seemed to worry greatly about that, and one of her closest friends, Tillsy, had lacked the composure she had. It was disgusting, but it hadn't really bothered Kasey enough to really consider it as bad as Tillsy was trying to make it out to be. In time, she'd get over it and eat more with her friends.
  21.
  22. At least, that's what she thought when she went to that same restaurant to eat the same salad, before her teeth found something chewy and wet grinding in between them. She'd spit it out, before staring in disgust as a chunk of discarded, raw meat was found in her salad. How did that get there?!
  23.
  24. Tillsy threw the biggest fit, and so did her other friends. Kasey didn't want to get into a fight though, and she just hung silently. Still, it bothered her. Two times in a row, the same thing she happens to get, and something's wrong with her meal? Someone clearly has it out for her. She'd try eating without her friends after that, just a day after. Maybe it was some sick little joke that her own friends were playing on her.
  25.
  26. A piece of gooey flesh waters across her tongue as she bit into her first burger, quickly finding chewed hunk of...a human cornea! She dropped her burger then and there, leaving onlookers confused as she spat the chunk out and walked out of the restaurant. It wasn't her friends, it was clearly the restaurant. Someone was playing a cruel prank on her!
  27.
  28. So, Kasey ate something at home. Simple. She'd manage to do so for some time, though not nearly as much; she's been living mostly off meals with her friends to build her own self confidence and image, but fortunately she at least ate...well, enough. To tide away the rumbles she had, she made herself a bologna sandwich and bite down into it. Her teeth failed to tear into the thick, stretchy strip of lunch meat. She jerks her head a bit, only to pull away in disgust. A scream comes from her mouth as a strip of skin hunk in her sandwich. Now, either parents were starting to be in on this prank, or she was going crazy!
  29.
  30. She didn't eat for a full day after that, and after heading out with a few friends, Kasey found a vending machine that lead to Kasey's teeth harshly cracking and crunching against something hard. She found within the bags were no potato chips; but instead, she'd found her teeth crunching against jagged bone shards.
  31.
  32. The next three days, Kasey went without eating. She'd fake eat carefully now and then; sneaking into her room to eat and discarding most of the slop she was given. By the time the first week rolled by, she felt her stomach protesting. It was screaming, aching, and yearning for something that would satiate her hunger. A thought came to her mind, and with it, Kasey grabbed her softball bat and began to head outside one night as her parents slept. She was dying of hunger; she wanted to eat, she wasn't going back to the hospital. It was no longer a matter of her self image now.
  33.
  34. Kasey wandered the somewhat empty town. She had the story set up for when she was seen; she was going to meet up with a few friends to play a few practice games for the team. Simple. Fortunately, no one really questioned the small girl. It was a safe, homely community after all, and one that was very rarely filled with any form of violence or crime. Kasey saw a man walking along the block.
  35.
  36. He made the mistake of wandering into the alleyway.
  37.
  38. Her hands grip tightly around the handle of her bat, much like the hunger that clenched her stomach.
  39.
  40. Silently, she'd run forwards and crack the man's skull open with a bat. A spray of soy sauce came from his head. It was like a pinata. Kasey brings her bat up, swinging it into the downed man's skull even as he stopped moving. Yet, Kasey saw no viscera or blood. Every splatter was a fresh helping of creamy condiments, while every bit of flesh came out as a lovely piece of salmon or chicken.
  41.
  42. If the people could be found in her food, then her food could be found in the people.
