Grocery shopping when it’s raining is pretty fun because the run up to their house is wet and slippery and giggly.

(Except, she’s a lot more careful and just watches him be goofy)

And she doesn’t get mad at him, ever, when he slips and falls on the hardwood floor and crushes the eggs in the bag because the clean up is the funnest part for her when you make a mess.

Knowing him, he always makes messes —

so she’s not surprised.

His bangs are stuck to his forehead and he’s dripping with rain water when he tells her that he loves her and kisses her,

and April showers bring May flowers when their baby’s born.
