  1. "Thank you."
  2.
  3. Following Ael towards the arena, he couldn't help but feel nervous as he has never fought or even trained against another without the use of a sword.
  4.
  5. "Let's see.." he started, "How well I do."
  6.
  7. With fire crackling around his finger tips, he threw his hand back to grab at a strapped hilt.
  8.
  9. But there was nothing there...
  10.
  11. Gingerly, his hands sought for the blade that usually rested on his back to found nothing there, quick to find out that he didn't wield the sword anymore.
  12.
  13. "Ooh... Look at that."
  14.
  15. Laughing at his own mistake, he turned with his other hand to grab Omen's Regalia from his back, one hand placed on the barrel of the rifle while the other rested against the grip. He lightly touched the trigger, wondering how sensitive the trigger itself was.
  16.
  17. "I'll try not to accidentally shot a hole through your hat." he smirked while fire collected around his form.
  18.
  19. "Ready when you are."
  20. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  21. [01:56] Ael Gelmont says, "Please, aim carefully."
  22. [01:57] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Heh, I'll try."
  23.
  24. [02:08] As the battle started, Eliphas charged the rifle with his own mana. Only to misfire as the end of the rifle flew skywards.
  25.
  26. He didn't take count of the recoil of the power he'd supply...
  27.
  28. Kicking off, the Aegues took towards the sky to reclaim his quickly departed weapon. Only to come crashing down as a massive wave of violet flames dragged him back towards the ground.
  29.
  30. Standing back up again, Eliphas reloaded the chamber before firing off several shots towards Ael. Taking into account of how much mana he shoulder supply the barrel with each consecutive shot.
  31.
  32. The design itself was elegant, one that someone with no professional experience as an artificer like him could appreciate. Each shot felt natural as the gripping for the rifle felt designed and curated to fit his grip. The barrel wasn't too long nor short. Each fire shot off in repetition as the runes empowered each shot, resonating with his own magics as he felt himself being guided along with it.
  33.
  34. The battle quickly carried on, with Eliphas learning new tricks and more efficient ways to power his rifle while the master pyromancer chased after him with their magnificent flames.
  35.
  36. It didn't take long, but the Aegeus understood a lot more of how he should properly manage the rifle just by using it in a lively situation.
  37.
  38. "Heh.. You never hold back huh Ael?" he grinned as he stood back up, "But I appreciate it. If you were told hold back and give me false hope."
  39.
  40. "Then I might carry that false hope into a real battle and pay for it."
  41. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [02:08] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Good fight."
  45. [02:21] Ael had fought with Eliphas, testing the magi's new gun on the field, it was a moderately ranged weapon with deisgn and capabilities that could wreak some havoc or destruction. As Ael shot off witgh Eliphas, watching the new gun-man's weapon nearly leave his hands, Ael aime dot take advantage of the moment.
  46.
  47. A wave of heat, followed by a field of fire and several returning shots quickly cornered and subdued Eliphas in the end. Although Eliphas fought hard and well, Ael pushed with his all, not letting back a signel strike in hold- he knew Eliphas to be capable of great destruction himself.
  48.
  49. "I should never hold back, you need to be as prepared as you can. I'll be active on the field with you tomorrow. Got to get out there before I don't got much time left on my hands." He grinned. "You should rest, as will I."
  50. (Ael Gelmont)
