  39. <SavanahHolland> Wendy walks down the hallway, her hair a little messy from being out and about for most of the day, still cut short. She notices Lucette out of the corner of her eye, seeing the girl walk through the hallway. A little fear comming into her eyes, maybe Wendy had been avoiding her, or maybe she just didn't care? Certainly not the latter, fear of what Lucette would think or do rushing through her mind. Her movements wit

  41. <Uracilo> Lucette makes a squeakish noise as she's grabbed, her somnolence broken by the unfamiliar touch. Had she become unused to it after so long without any? Human contact, that is.
  42. <SavanahHolland> Wendy's grip on her loosens at the noise, Wendy's face paling as she realises what she had got herself into, she wasn't ready to see Lucette, she couldn't even look the girl in the eyes, not saying anything, looking down but keeping her hand on the small girl's arm.

  46. <Uracilo> Lucette turns around and lets out the breath she had been holding when she sees it's just Wendy, only to take in another one and hold it when she realizes that oh, it's Wendy. She trembles in the other girl's grip, nervous about the meeting. Did she have something to say?
  47. <SavanahHolland> Wendy takes a deep breath, moving quick to pull Lucette in her arms, maybe a hug wouldn't at all fix it, but right now, really any words would fail her. She lets a loose peice of her short hair fall to slightly cover her eyes, making sure Lucette doesn't see as she holds her to herself tight. Saying in a soft whisper "I'm sorry..", after a few weeks up the pent up fear that Lilith was dead, only one or two times it h
  48. <SavanahHolland> ad ever been let out. She really was sorry, to Lucette and to Lilith, because inside, she knew it was all her fault.
  49. <Uracilo> Lucette tenses and freezes in Wendy's arms, before she deflates and begins to sniffle. A few seconds later sees her in a fit of full-blown sobbing, clinging to Wendy's clothes.
  50. <SavanahHolland> Wendy holds the girl tight in her arms, moving a hand to the back of Lucette's hand, leaving it there for some reasurrence. She says through a painful breath, "I'm so sorry.." you still can't see her eyes well, mostly hidden by her positioning and just not wanting Lucette to see her.
  51. <Uracilo> Lucette doesn't understand Wendy's reasoning, she's just unable to accept Lilith's likely death. "D-don't leave me as well! P-please, Wendy!" she whispers loudly into Wendy's clothes, clinging tighter.

  53. <SavanahHolland> Wendy holds her tighter "I- I won't leave you.. I- I know I haven't been there for you.. I'm sorry.." she says quietly, you can see a few tears stream down from her hidden eyes.
  54. <Uracilo> "I-I feel so sick... like I- like I die a little every day they don't find her and- and... I-it's my fault, I-I couldn't stop the bullets and- and I have n-nightmares about it, every night," she stutters, more passionate than she's been since the events in question.
  55. <SavanahHolland> Wendy shakes her head, almost violently "N-no!" she quiets down, holding her close to herself, looking down at the girl as a few of her own tears drop onto the top of Lucette's head "It's not your fault.. i-it's mine.." she says the last bit, almost beyond pained.
  56. <Uracilo> "Y-you had n-nothing to do with it!" she insists, wanting to hear no more of it. "I-it doesn't m-matter whose fault it is... I- it won't make us f-feel any better..."
  57. <SavanahHolland> "i had everything to do with it.." Wendy says in a quiet whisper, a sound you could just blame on a distant breeze "I haven't been here for you.. please let me make it up to you.. I shouldn't have.. have left you alone like that.."
  58. <Uracilo> "I... how?" she asks, hopeful. Maybe she won't be alone forever, as she was fearing. Maybe Wendy will be there.
  59. <SavanahHolland> Wendy gives Lucette a small squeeze, moving down to the girl's size so they can be face to face "I'll be around you.. more often.. you can sleep with.. us if you get lonely.. we can go out into town if you want.. just.. I want to take your mind off what happened.. okay?"
  60. <Uracilo> "O-okay," she sniffles, trying to hold back the tears. She tries to pry her fingers off of Wendy's clothes and then tries to straighten the wrinkles she caused, blushing.
  61. <SavanahHolland> Wendy gives her a squeeze before she moves her fingers off "D-don't worry.. are you feeling alright? I can probably make you some f- have you been eating well..?"
  62. <Uracilo> She succeeds at the first, but her hands are trembling too much to do the second effectively, so she just clasps her hands together and looks down once she's asked that question. "I-I've been eating in the morning..."
  63. <SavanahHolland> Wendy blinks, for a second looking horrified, grabbing one of Lucette's hands "Let's go downstairs, I'm making you some food." she smiles softly "Alright?"
  64. <Uracilo> Lucette nods, letting herself be led along. She wipes her tears on her sleeve, and mumbles an "Alright..."
  65. <SavanahHolland> Wendy quickly pulls Lucette along, quickly down the stairs and flying into the door kitchen, guiding Lucette to sit down in a chair, rushing over to look through cabnets "What are you in the mood for? Something sweet?"
  66. <Uracilo> Lucette's too busy wiping at her face to really think about it, those tears won't be kept at bay by themselves. "A-anything's fine..."
  67. <SavanahHolland> "I'll make some blueberry pancakes, it isn't breakfast but they're always good." she then notices Lucette's tears still falling, grabbing a napkin and leaning down next to Lucette, using the napkin to wipe the tears off the girl's face, smiling gently "Please don't worry, everythings going to be fine.."
  68. <Uracilo> Lucette crosses her legs on the chair and holds them together with her hands. She looks down, not really believing Wendy's last bit. Nothing would ever be fine if Lilith was really dead. Maybe she should be out there looking for her again.
  69. <SavanahHolland> Wendy wipes the rest of Lucette's tears away, giving her a quick kiss on the forehead "It's going to be fine, Lilith is strong.." she stands back up, opening the fridge and retrieving a little package of blueberries, setting them on the counter and raiding the cabnets for dry ingridents.
  70. <Uracilo> Lucette blushes brightly, holding a hand up to her forehead for a full minute before pulling it down so Wendy won't see it.
  71. <SavanahHolland> Wendy start humming softly her usual tune, the one that she always hummed in the shower or sometimes when she was idly working around. Grabbing a metal bowl to start pouring flour and everything else needed into it "Do you like pancakes?"
  72. <Uracilo> "I-I've only ever had the- the cafeteria's... I-I don't usually t-treat myself when I cook..." she mumbles, embarrasedly. "I-I've eaten a waffle at the coffee shop... d-does that count?"
  73. <SavanahHolland> Wendy moves the back of her wrist to her mouth to stifle a small giggle, shaking her head "Well, I'll try to make them really good, I usually make them from scratch so they'll be much better than the cafeteria's." she grabs a carton of milk, pouring a splash in with the dry items and a small drop of honey in the mix before adding everything else, grabbing a wisk and wisking it together.
  74. <Uracilo> Lucette just sits there, rocking back and forth, till she realizes her pose isn't very ladylike, and sits straight instead. She bites her lip to relieve stress, instead."
  75. <SavanahHolland> Wendy picks up a pan, setting it on the stove top with a little bit of butter, letting it heat up and the butter melt before pouring some pancake batter in, making two almost perfect circles and letting it sit for a second before throwing a few blueberries on top and flipping it over. A pleasent smell filling the kitchen "How many do you want?"
  76. <Uracilo> "I-I'm not all that hung-" she tries to mumble until her stomach interrupts her, triggered by the sizzling. Lucette blushes, and chooses to stay silent after that.
  77. <SavanahHolland> Wendy giggles softly at the blush, nodding "They're pretty good sized, I'll make you two for now." she says, grabbing a white glass plate and stacking two warm blueberry pancakes on it, doing two more and setting it on a different plate. Turning off the heat and setting the pan in the sink and rushing some water in it. She then wipes off her hands with a paper towel, grabbing the two plates and setting the first one

  79. <Uracilo> "D-do you usually eat them with those things? I-I don't know..." she mumbles, eyeing the dessert.
  80. <SavanahHolland> Wendy thinks on this for a moment "I usually just add a little butter on top and a drizzle of syrup, but some people don't because it's too sweet." she grabs two napkins, giving one to Lucette and setting the other next to her own plate. Grabbing two sets of knives and forks as well repeating the process. She grabs to empty clear glasses, filling both with a carton of milk and setting one glass in front of Lucette an
  81. <SavanahHolland> d taking a sip of her own "Try it like that for now, See if you think it should we sweeter." she moves to the fridge, grabbing a half used stick of butter and a bottle of syrup, setting it in front on the duo as Wendy cuts off a tiny peice of butter, putting it on her pancakes, then putting her hand over it so the butter melts faster, drizzling the smallest bit of maple syrup on her own in a little smily face.
  82. <Uracilo> Lucette tries both ways, holding up her plate for Wendy to melt the butter with a blush when she tries the syrup idea. She ends up going for the sweeter version, and tears into the pancakes as faintily as it is possible to do so while still using the verb tear.
  83. <Uracilo> She ends up with some syrup along the side of her lip, and a contented smile on her face, though it turns into a blush whenever Wendy turns to stare.
  84. <SavanahHolland> Wendy melts the butter for the girl with a giggle, moving her hands to take her knife and fork in hand, digging in herself but really just nibbling slowly. Wendy notices the little syrup on the side of the girl's lip, blushing a little but taking a deep breath and grabbing her napkin, wiping off the syrup from Lucette, a small giggle comming out "Feeling better?"
  85. <Uracilo> The question only serves to remind Lucette of the terrible, terrible things going on, and while she tries to respond to the careful touch with a smile and a blush, it ends up looking downcast and forced.
  86. <SavanahHolland> Wendy's smiles fades softly, her hand going to Lucette's cheek to have the girl look her in the eyes "I shouldn't have asked so soon.. Don't worry.. please?" she takes a deep breath "Everything's going to be fine.. A-and I'll be around more now so you won't have to be alone while waiting for her return.."
  87. <Uracilo> Lucette's smile is forlorn, with her eyes closed so as not to look. "Th-thank you, Wendy... I-I don't deserve it..."
  88. <SavanahHolland> Wendy then moves to pull Lucette up into her own lap, giggling at the girl and shaking her head "You do deserve it, so I'll be around for you now.. I owe you that much, and you can stay with us tonight if you want."
  89. <Uracilo> "Us?" she asks, a little worried.
  90. <SavanahHolland> Wendy blinks, tilting her head "Akemi and me? D-does that make you.. uncomfortable..? I hope not.." she half laughs the last bit, but suddenly looks a little nervous.
  91. <Uracilo> "O-oh... so that did happen?" she asks, batting at a few stray tears. "I-I'm s-sorry I can't... b-bring myself to- to be happy about it... L-Lilith didn't a-approve... She got really angry with me..."
  92. <SavanahHolland> Wendy looks at her, a little pain comming on to her face "W-what do you mean she didn't approve and got angry w-with you?" Wendy /knew/ Lilith didn't approve at first.. but in the end Lilith kinda gave her away instead, but how would Lucette know?
  93. <Uracilo> "I-I talked to her about... hypotheticals, a-and she got mad at me. She thought I was seeing someone else for- for a few minutes..."
  94. <SavanahHolland> Wendy looks down, saying in a quiet and almost scared voice "what hypotheticals..?"
  95. <Uracilo> Lucette fidgets as she expĺains, nervous talking about Lilith. "I-I asked her if she'd approve if- if her girlfriend f-felll in love with- with someone else, too..."

  98. <SavanahHolland> Wendy looks down still, looking all around extremely nervous "A-and she got mad?" Wendy knew Lilith was still mad, but it never felt fair, why did she get to have both of them at once and as soon as someone else comes along its either her or the other girl, which wasn't fair at all.

  125. <SavanahHolland> Wendy mumbles harsh whispers under her breath, only being able to make out the word 'soon' and a broken part of the word 'free'. She stands on her own, Akemi doesn't need to help her stand at all, but she doesn't move, her eyes locked on the direction Jan had left in. Her clothes and face soaked, not expression at all. And now she knew, Jan was back.
  126. <Kioku> Akemi rubs Wendy's back, looking at her with concern. What's she thinking? What does Jan mean to her? What's she whispering? No matter the case, she'll be here to hold her.
  127. <SavanahHolland> Jan meant little to her, but maybe their little interaction was enough. Probably the most traumatic thing thats happened to her in SunnyBrook was /his/ fault. But now, that has passed, she has been through so very much worse. She slowly moves, straighting her back, her eyes still dead on where Jan had went. Turning her body to the dorms, but not her face as she takes in one very last glimpse. Walking through the rain
  128. <SavanahHolland> to the dorm building, making sure Akemi follows, but her expressions show nothing.
  129. <Kioku> Akemi's worry only grows as she follows willingly and silently, hoping that Wendy will be okay, that she'll explain.

  131. <SavanahHolland> Wendy walks slowly, silently, the muddy grass squishing under her feet, she didn't seem to care as she closed in on the doors. The bone chilling rain that went into her very core still falling, she didn't care. Jan knew it, more than anyone else. Lilith was dead. She had died. Wendy opens the door without a sound, comming inside and letting Akemi follow, up the stairs with little sound.

  135. <SavanahHolland> Wendy finally makes her way up, every movement like heavy silk. She knew where she was going, her mind was blank, she had no reason to stumble. Jan knew it. He knew it and did not waver. Wendy will not either. She will lie to Lucette, to Akemi and tell them that Lilith is still alive. She's not. She goes into her door room, taking the key out, no fumbling, she had no need to fumble. She did not waver. Opening the doo

  137. <Kioku> Akemi pauses outside the door, not wanting to get more water in the room, but darts in after a moment to snatch up a towel and waits to see if Wendy is going for their bathing supplies or just planning to change and dry off instead. She doesn't mind either way just now.
  138. <SavanahHolland> Wendy doesn't reach for the bathing supplies, just picking up one of her usual white towel that was tinted a light pink, holding it to her side as she just stripped the wet slop of clothes from her body. No caring about if anyone sees her, using the towel to dry her body and running it through her now short hair.
  139. <Kioku> Akemi bumps the door closed quickly and similarly strips and starts drying herself, watching Wendy with the same concern as before and barely resisting the urge to just hug her. For the first few seconds. She doesn't manage to avoid it after that, draping the towel over her shoulders and wrapping her arms around Wendy to pull her close. "Please tell me what you're feeling, Beloved...?"
  140. <SavanahHolland> Wendy wraps the pink towel around her thin body, tucking in the front so it doesn't fall. Akemi comming in and holding her, the girl still not clothed, leaving Wendy in any right mind with a blush. But nothing came to her cheeks. She just looked blank, or even sick to her stomach at the same time. She says in a voice that is almost silent "Jan is back."
  141. <Kioku> Akemi just holds her tighter, not knowing what that /means/ in any real sense. "I'm here for you. Please let me in?"
  142. <SavanahHolland> Wendy's eyes seem to dull even more, remembering the ash, remembering Lilith, it was still her fault. She could not waver, Jan knew it, and now she did as well. Going a little limp in Akemi's arms "Jan is..." She wavered. Tears comming to her eyes as they stream down her face, the guise of rain now gone.
  143. <Kioku> Akemi makes a tiny sound that can't quite be placed, and holds tighter, not noticing the tears right away but tasting that something is wrong. She pulls the girl over to the bed and spreads her towel over it, pulling Wendy to lie next to her to better hold her.
  144. <SavanahHolland> Wendy follows along, staying mostly limp and letting out small shivers. The tears continue to fall from her unexpressive gunmetal blue colored eyes. She just stares at wherever her eyes land dully. Jan really /is/ back.
  145. <Kioku> Akemi wraps Wendy up in her arms and a leg, holding her as close as she can protectively and tilting the girl's head to meet her eyes. \Please talk to me... please...\
  146. <SavanahHolland> Wendy shivers as she locks eyes with the violet in Akemi's eyes. The tears falling down her cheeks quickly like shooting stars in the night sky. "Jan.. why is Jan back...?" she say quietly, not asking to really anyone in the room.
  147. <Kioku> Akemi rubs Wendy's back, still looking concerned and a little lost. "I don't know... I don't know..." \Tell me in your own time, but please tell me!\
  148. <SavanahHolland> Wendy's eyes widen, the first little bit of human emotion comming onto her face, distorting into anger, sadness and fear. "Why is he back!?! Why did they let him back?!" she would nearly be screaming it, but her words are slightly hushed. Why would they let Jan back? He was wrong, he was destroyed. Not that the real one wasn't destroyed either. Both were always wrong.. but this... this was so much worse.
  149. <Kioku> "Let..." \This reaction...\ Akemi takes a sharp breath. "... Did he hurt you?" Akemi asks in a tone that practically compels an answer.
  150. <Kioku> Akemi leans closer, if that's even possible, pressing against Wendy with her body yet paying the fact no mind.
  151. <SavanahHolland> Wendy answers, almost too quickly, too dulled as the anger fades away "no", Jan didn't hurt her, it wasn't that bad, it was just some ash, that's all it was. No, it wasn't just ash. It was so much worse. The guards pointing fingers, missing gaps in her memory that were only filled with recordings. Yelling, screaming, the same ash she remembered, running away from always. Maybe it was worse than him just hurting her,

  153. <Kioku> Akemi kisses Wendy's cheek softly, burying her face in her neck afterward. "Please... please tell me what happened? You know you can trust me no matter what..."
  154. <SavanahHolland> Wendy holds the girl tightly "I do trust you.. I just don't think.. I can talk about it right now.. I'm sorry.." she says softly.

The licking giving you a sensation of a warm bubbly feeling as Wendy leans down to gather Neci in her arms and ploping herself in Akemi's lap, the little violet fox letting a small 'yip' noise at Ray that seems somewhat like a mix between the noise a small puppy would make a a crackling flame.

Akemi lifts a finger to her mouth, and... nips her fingertip, drawing blood. She doesn't even flinch. Seems she's done that before.

  529. <FakemixRed> The attempt at infusing power into it, causes the charm to do the equivalent of shorting out. Some parts lit up while others remained dim, almost as if they were conflicting commands that Akemi was attempting. Something the spell formula wasn't designed to do
  530. <Kioku> Akemi pulls her hand away and shakes it, frowning. \Incompatible, or too much power? Probably the former, but I should learn to make it a slower trickle anyway.\ "Hrm. Well, if you want something new to research..." \I can work on this more in my own time, but I still really want to figure out how to make my own.\ "Guess I need to learn more about how spell formulae work..."

I don't know anything about alcohol.\ She finally pulls a vodka, a rum, a cider, and a scotch whiskey, all fairly high alcohol content. \Cider can be alcoholic? I had no idea!\

  1026. <Kioku> Akemi bumps the door a couple times with her knee, just outside, around then. Like before, she whispers her identity so that Claire won't have to ask.
  1027. <UltimixRed> Claire watches the scene and holds back Nadia's hair for her and just laughs with her face still tear stricken
  1028. <UltimixRed> the stone gargoyle lets Akemi in to witness the glorious scene of Claire full of tears and Nadia vomiting
  1029. <SavanahHolland> Nadia finally stops vomitting, moving back to grab a napkin quickly and wiping her face and taking deep breaths "I need.. to go wash my mouth out.."
  1030. <Kioku> Akemi grimaces slightly and glides through the door. It's fortunate that it's her default movement, since she's balancing quite a lot on her arms and in her hands. Two bowls of okayu, a shaker of cinnamon, a fig (blame Nadia), a couple pieces of pickled plum (blame Aiko for those being around), and milk, more water, and more tea.
  1031. <UltimixRed> Claire grabbed a plum, enjoying the sourness "We became friends.... but my boss.... tried making me... love her." Claire had a whimpering voice still but she at least had some life in her movements again

  1035. <Kioku> Akemi blinks and glances between the two. "Well, I'm really glad that you became friends~! Do you know why your boss...?" She shakes her head. "Go clean out the taste, then come back, okay? Okayu is /really/ easy to digest, so you should be able to get it down." \That's why it's usually made for sick or old people...\
  1036. <SavanahHolland> "I will not let him hurt you." she says under her breath to Claire, standing up and opening the door to the washroom, probably to scrub out her mouth with soap and water. Her breath reeked of vomit, artificial figs and alchohol.

  1038. <UltimixRed> my children to be.... angel demon... hybrids... so they would be powerful servants. " Claire says with some agony in her voice
  1039. <Kioku> "I won't let him hurt you either," Akemi gets a dark look, but it clears up as she looks at Claire once Nadia leaves, then at the bowls and cups balancing on her arms. "... Help?"

  1041. <UltimixRed> The Gargoyle helps Akemi place the tray on the bed and Claire dismisses him /since I doubt Mister Requal will come here/ "Thanks... Akemi" /my Saviour/
  1042. <Kioku> Akemi swoops down to hug Claire. "Of course..." she whispers. "I'm sorry that he wanted to use you like that..."
  1043. <UltimixRed> "I don't know... I kind of like her too? but I don't... know which part is me.... and which part is him
  1044. <UltimixRed> Claire leans into the hug, headwings flapping
  1045. <Kioku> Akemi squeezes after several long seconds, and moves to sit on the bed. Her lap looks pretty inviting, and there /is/ food on the rest... though maybe that tray should go on the floor so the drinks won't spill on the bed or something, if someone sits next to Akemi rather than on her.
  1046. <Kioku> In fact, that's exactly what Akemi starts doing, if she isn't stopped - moving the tray and food to the floor, since it's much flatter and more stable.
  1047. <SavanahHolland> Nadia comes back from the washroom, having brushed her teeth and also thought about using a bar of soap but decided against it. She knocks on the door, remembering that the demon or whatever was still guarding so saying her name and then comming in the room, looking rather refreshed, probably having also washed her face and fixed her hair.
  1048. <UltimixRed> Claire edges to sit on Akemi's lap, but Wendy's face shows in her mind making her stop and just keep to eating her pickled plums "You... ok Miss... Nadia

  1050. <Kioku> Akemi smiles toward Nadia, and just as much at Claire, nodding to one of the bowls. "I hope you're feeling better. Seems your stomach could use something to settle it."
  1051. <SavanahHolland> Nadia lets out a small laugh "I am feeling fine, my throat hurts less now, so that is always good." She then slowly moves to sit down, looking at one of the bowls to take it with a spoon "It looks good." she says with a appreciative smile to Akemi
  1052. <UltimixRed> "You... sure cook alot Miss Akemi... I can tell from.. the taste" Claire says swishing jer tail in happiness
  1053. <Kioku> Akemi blushes slightly and nods. "I guess I do. I don't like the cafeteria food much, and I'm used to making everything myself. Oh, that reminds me! Those two boxes that I brought? I... umm.. made you two lunch for later. If you want it."
  1054. <SavanahHolland> Nadia raises both eyebrows, then lets out a small giggle "I will be sure to eat it for lunch." she takes a spoon of the soup as sips it from the spoon slowly, removing it once done with the spoon with a pleased expression "I think I enjoy your cooking so far."

  1056. <UltimixRed> thats very nice of... you. " Claire says her face lighting up
  1057. <UltimixRed> her wings flutter and she imagines it, two home made meals in one day! god must be smiling on her
  1058. <Kioku> Akemi gives a happy wiggle and a giggle. "I'm happy to! It gave me something to do while the rice was cooking, and I just had to borrow a second rice cooker. There was plenty of other things for it still from when I made mine and Wendy's earlier. If not for the cost of ingredients, I might make more bentos every day, so more of my friends could have them if they wanted... and if more people got up early, we could all have

  1063. <SavanahHolland> Nadia takes another spoonful, then popping the fig in her mouth and chewing, always good, even when she did still feel terrible. Luckily figs were small so she finished it in a few seconds. "You will have to show me how to cook sometime, I had tried cooking once but I had burnt them." she says with a small laugh, taking in another spoonful "I am usually awake at seven or earlier."
  1064. <Kioku> Akemi seems impressed. "Four? That's when I usually get up in the summer, but not always in the winter. Yeah, you should tomorrow! But usually eating is finished by seven..." \Umm... if Wendy doesn't mind... but it's just having another friend around for breakfast, right?   1068. <UltimixRed> "When I lived... with my family I woke up at... 2. but are you sure.... Wendy will be ok? with me... there?" Claire pours herself a cup of tea and drinks

She takes another spoonful with a still happy expression.
