Re: Reason of isekai is the bottle

Prologue.
I hate going to class. From sunrise to noon I sit in this chair, scribbling away facts I never wanted to know. To pass tests that mean nothing to me. All for a job that I will never love. But I have to do this. Otherwise I'll become a failure. A parasite on society. Nothing more than a living corpse, going to class allows me to survive in a sense. But what's the point of living if you don't want to wake up in the morning? I know this is my fault. There's no unfulfilled dreams kept from me in this class. I have no drive to succeed any other way. All I can do is take this path laid out for me. And I hate everything about that.

My teacher begins to pack his belongings in his bag. Class ended without me noticing it. I guess he was as bored as me. Well, it doesn't actually matter. I'll pack up my things and drive home.

I shuffle my feet out the door, trying not to stand too close to any of my classmates. The sun's bright rays shine through the windows. It's a beautiful day outside. There's a handful of small clouds floating by. Floating by without a care in the world. I'm jealous, of a cloud no less. I really am pathetic.
Once outside I pause for a bit to search for my car. I see my station wagon under the shade of some nearby trees. In front of my car is an unopened wine bottle in front of my car. I wanted to kick it away but I noticed something moving inside the bottle.
Must be a mouse, I thought. It'll be cruel to leave it there, I'll free it and go home. With a satisfying pop, I took off the cork top and tried to empty it.
Nothing fell out.

What am I doing? Because I have no common sense I tried saving a life that was never there. In what I thought would be a normal day, I somehow made myself become even more pathetic.

I placed the bottle back down. The bottle didn't do anything wrong, no reason to take out my frustration on it. But there's now an uneasy feeling I can't get rid of. I thought it was my disappointment but something isn't right. I looked around the parking lot. Not a soul in sight. But then...why does it feel like I'm being watched?

I drove home, eager to escape that unsettling feeling. With a sudden thud I drop my bag to the ground. Now I can do the only thing I'm good at now. Video Games. As of now, I have more combined hours playing these games than hours I attended class. The reason should be obvious. It's an escape. That sinking feeling from doing the same thing over and over. I hate it, I hate it so much. There's no exciting adventure waiting for me in the real world. No cute girls that will break down my emotional walls. And no way for me to leave behind a monument that proves I was alive. Because in the real world when I die, everyone will forget about me.

My TV flashes my game's main menu. It's only 4 pm and I'm exhausted. If I go to sleep now I'll still have to go to class the next day. Why did I have to born in this world. Why can I not be a hero like my games? Why am I still alive? There's no good answers to my questions. I'm going to sleep.

I lay on my bed, staring at my ceiling. As I drift away to sleep a blue light shimmers in the corner of my eye. Two smooth hands appear behind me. Someone is hugging me.

A beautiful voice speaks out, "Leave it to me master, I'll make your wish come true."
"Thanks," I say, "I appreciate it."
I lose consciousness with a smile on my face. What a wonderful dream.

Chapter 1
I shake my head. I’m really uncomfortable? Uggh… When’s class again. Wait… Is it morning already?!
MC: What time is it now?
I forced myself awake searching for my phone. But I couldn’t find it. Not only that, but I couldn’t find my room at all. When I opened my eyes, all I see are trees. My body is aching. I’m sleeping on the ground? Where am I? How did I come here? I’m really scared right now. I heard there are ghost that like to take you away but I never know that they could do it from your house.
MC: Okay, calm down now. Whoo… Now is not the time to panic. I-I have to figure out where I am first.
 I scan my surroundings.
MC: Good there’s nothing scary aro-
A girl suddenly appear out of nowhere into my field of vision.
MC: AAAAAHHHHHHH… FUCK. GET AWAY FROM ME.
I jumped away from her while shouting.
??: Wait, you don’t need to be scared master. I’m your humble servant.
She said while beckoning me to come near to her.
MC: WHAT FUCKING SERVANT. I’M IN THE MIDDLE OF A FOREST AND NOW A BLUE SKINNED GIRL THAT BARELY COVER HERSELF IS POPPING OUT OF NOWHERE CLAIMING I’M HER MASTER. NOPE NOT WEIRD AND SUSPICOUS AT ALL. YOU FUCKING STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU DEMON GHOST.
I shout at her, shaking. A blue girl in a middle of nowhere is kinda scary right?
BG: Oh, sorry for that master. I’ve tried contacting you yesterday but there’s like some kind of protective barrier around you. It prevented me from interacting with you in anyway.
The blue girl bowing and pleading asking for forgiveness.
BG: Looks like someone in your family might have dabbled in the mystical dark arts. Now come here master, I’m not going to hurt you.
She starts to beckon me to come to her again but this time more seductively.
MC: I see that you know how to temp people with your demonic ways demon. But I’m stronger than that. I’ll never be tempted.
My eyes close while I’m talking to her.
BG: Oh master, you’re so funny. But that’s enough. You should come here. I need to explain to you something. This is not your world.
MC: So, you’ve bring me to your demonic world too. Is there no end to your horrors?
BG: I’m no demon master and this is not a demonic world. This is a fantasy world.
MC: A fantasy world? Why would yo- I mean why should I believe you? You could be lying to me.
BG: Remember yesterday? You opened a glass bottle. Actually I was entrapped there. And then you set me free. Because of that I am indebted to you. So, I’ll do anything you say.
MC: That sounds so fake. Who the hell kidnap a person they are indebted too. And you still haven’t tell me what are you. (How did she know about the glass bottle?? No one was there!)
BG: Well if you want to know. I’m a genie. Genie and demons are very different. Genie are more like spirits than demons. And the reason you’re here is because…
MC: Wait, wait, wait. You said you’re a genie. That means the reason I’m here is because…
BG: Yup. You wished to go to adventure in a fantasy world yesterday master. Well, I granted that wish just for you.
MC: But I didn’t really mean that!! Can you send me back? I don’t want to stay here like this.
The girl fidget while swinging her hips around.
MC: CAN YOU??
BG: Actually, when sending you here I need to give a reason.
MC: So?
BG: You need to finish that reason for coming here first before going home.
MC: WHAT THE FUCK? ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
BG: Nooo…?
MC: And what am I supposed to do now? Can you at least tell me the reason you gave.
BG: Actually, because I’m such a good servant, I’ve chosen every reason for you to come here. You just have to finish one to go home.
MC: Whew. Okay. What are the reasons?
BG: The reasons are
1. Unite the world under one ruler
2. Destroy the world
3. Kill the demon lord
4. Overthrow the current corrupt kingdom
5. Stop the conflict between different races
6. Achieving World Peace
MC: Oh what the fuck? Almost all of that is impossible! Is there no other way?
BG: Sorry master. There isn’t.
MC: Oh fuck. Oh fuck. Any one of those will take years to achieve. AAAAAAHHH. Can’t stand this. So, I’m not going back to my world for years at least. I miss everyone already. Mom. Dad. Sister. I miss all of them! And if this is like any other of those fantasy stories.
BG: It is.
MC: That means there’s no plumbing. The food is probably going to taste like shit. No electricity. No internet. No anime. No manga. I can probably learn magic. But no modern life. And worst of all I have to actually work. Nononononononono. I don’t want that.
I cry myself asleep. The girl hugged me all the while I was crying and even petted my head.
BG: It’s okay master. I’ll always be with you.


Chapter 2
Mhhmmmm…That was a nice sleep. I’m still laying down. The thing before is just a dream right? I’m not really in another world right? My eyes are still close as I’m afraid to face the reality that I am not in my own world. Please let me be in my world. I slowly open my eyes to see that I’m still laying on the ground in the forest where I was before. But this time my head seems to be on something soft. I get up to see what I was laying on. I was laying down on the thigh on the blue girl from before. I jump back in surprise that she was still here.

BG: Oh you woke up master. Did you have a nice sleep?

She slowly open her eyes. Using her hand, she rubbed her eyes trying to get rid of her sleepiness. Looks like even she was sleeping. Well it was pretty nice of her to let me sleep on her thigh.

MC: So, last time wasn’t a dream. I am in a fantasy world. Fuck.

BG: You are master. I’ve been saying that since last morning.

MC: I know. Can you just shut up for a minute? I need to think.

Okay, first I need to accept that I am in a fantasy world. A world which isn’t my own. Okay. That’s really hard to accept. What fantasy world? The trees look similar enough. And I haven’t met any monster yet? Maybe she’s lying?

MC: Hey blue girl, are we really in a fantasy world? Everything here looks like it could be in my world. And I haven’t seen any monster yet.

The blue girl eyes lighten up. She open what looks like a portal and took out charts, diagrams and graphs. Glasses appeared out of a cloud of smoke and onto her face. She looks like a teacher now.

BG: Let me explain master. Every reality that’s near each other shouldn’t be that different. The reality can be very different if they are very far apart from each other. But your world reality and this world reality isn’t. So this world isn’t that different from your world. Humans will look like humans. Flora and fauna should also look quite similar. But unlike your world. This world is freer. The law of this world reality isn’t as strict. Maybe it’s because the people that manage this reality isn’t as strict with the rules. Actually, that is likely the most plausible answer. Your reality is ruled by the one true god and this reality is ruled by a being that your god created. I myself am not that sure. So, any questions? :)

I was dumbfounded. That was too much shocking information in a really short period of time. God is real? Alternate reality? Different world?

MC: Okay, wait. Let me process this for a second. You mean that there are other realities that’s more different. And God is really real?

BG: Yes. This is the closest reality to what seems like the most ideal fantasy world and God is real.

MC: If god is real does that mean my prayers will reach him here?

BG: It will master but I don’t think he will help you go back to your world. As god isn’t really interfering that much now.

MC: Oh okay.

Sadness fill me. My only hope that is god, won’t save me from this hell.  But at least I should try. And maybe I’ll pray to make my journey easier too. I put my hand together and pray to god. Pray for me to be back to my world and pray for god to help me on my journey if I can’t go back. The blue girl just smile as she watch me pray. She than pray too besides me. I never know what she prays for but it doesn’t matter. Now lets continue asking my other questions.

MC: If this is like any other fantasy world, where’s all the monsters. Goblins, slimes. Why haven’t any attacked us?

I ask, suspicious of her. She changes back to her attire she wore before explaining. Her hand started glowing and a sphere appears on top of her hand.

BG: I created a barrier so that the monsters won’t disturb you sleeping master. Aren’t I a good servant?

MC: Oh that’s actually a good idea. Good job?

BG: Thank you master.

She smiles at me after the slightest of compliment. She actually looks beautiful. It never had come to me that she is beautiful. I never have really looked at her before. This time I should focus on her.

She have blue skin. Long flowing black hair. Her face looks beautiful. Her face have all the features of a beautiful woman. Her body is curvy. Breast is above average? I never bothered to learn breast sizes but if I have to guess… E? Well it looks huge to me. And she wear those belly dancer outfit. Really erotic now that I actually focus on it but I shall persevere. I never asked for her name. Should I? I should. Yes, I should ask her name. Blue girl or just girl seems really rude.

MC: Hey blue girl. What’s your name?

BG: My name? Actually master, I don’t have a name. My last master just call me genie, my species name.

MC: Okay so I’ll name you genie too. But with a different spelling! J-I-N-N-Y. That’s your name now.

JN: Really master? Thank you very much.

She came flying and started hugging me. I have to pry her off just so that I can breathe.

MC: It’s the same name. Just spelled differently.

JN: I know but master makes the name a real name and not just the name of what I am. Thank you master.

MC: No problem Jinny. Wait you must know my name right, being a genie and all. Why don’t you call me that?

JN: Yes I know. Your name Evan Lambert. But because you are my master. I’ll call you master.

EL: Alright then, if that’s what you want. Now what to do?


Chapter 3
So, I just found out that God is real. There are lots of other reality. God is real. A genie kidnapped me to a different world. I have to achieve an impossible task to get home. Okay. That’s not a lot actually. Just surprising and shocking. Now what do I do? Maybe I should ask Jinny.

EL: Hey Jinny. What should I do now?

JN: Anything you want master. That’s part of your wish.

EL: Oh hell. Are you serious? I’m in unknown land and you say anything I want. At least give me a map or something. I’m not going in blind.

JN: Well there’s a town north of here master. You could try going there.

She pointed to the right of me into the unknown forest.

EL: Look isn’t that good. Now what do I need to do? I don’t have anything. Not even powers. Wait, you said something about one of my family dabbled in magical black arts right? Does that mean I have magic or something?

JN: It’s mystical dark arts master. And yes. Your body seems to have some aptitude towards magic. But it looks like the magic is some kind of black magic. Like ghost possession. Spirit summoning. And anything like that. But you shouldn’t worry master. Because you are a person that transported from another world. You will gain some powers to help you in this world. It should be right about now.

A mystical light surrounds me. Enveloped me. My body surge with energy. I felt something clicked inside of me. Like something had awoken. My body floated upwards and a sudden voice speak inside my head.

??: You have gained new powers great one. Hope you will use it wisely.

EL: That… was weird. I heard a voice in my head Jinny. What was that?

JN: That was likely the voice of the world or maybe one of this world angels. Whatever it is you have gained new powers now master. How do you feel?

EL: Yeah I feel great. IT feels like something in me awakened. You know what was that Jinny?

JN: That was your latent power master. You want to know how much you powered up master?

EL: Can’t I use that menu stuff like in all those isekai stories? Let me try.

I pushed my finger up like I was trying to open up a menu. It failed. I called menu. It failed. I close my eyes to imagine a menu. It failed. This really isn’t like my isekai manga. Finally I just gave up and ask Jinny.

JN: Silly master. You can’t do that by yourself. Now let me see. Hmmm… Master, your old body seems to be naturally strong. But you haven’t been moving your body that much right? So…

EL: Just say it. I don’t exercise enough. I’m weak before because of that right? I knew it, I’m weak.

I playingly cry in front of her to gain sympathy.

JN: No master. Sure you don’t exercise. You’re lazy. But because of your naturally strong body and that you actually learn martial arts before. Your base strength is actually good. You are also smarter than average which is a good thing. But with you gaining new powers and all your body seems to upgrade itself with your powers. You now have above average strength in this world. Meaning you are on the same level of strength as ogres probably.

EL: Are ogres strong here?

JN: They are quite strong. But not the strongest. They are at least stronger than the average adventurer here.

EL: Oh that’s nice. Now what other powers do I have?

Jinny comes closer to me and stares at me intensely. Looking at me from top to bottom. It was a bit embarrassing having a girl stare at you. Her face looks serious. Then she stops and giggle.

JN: You have magic too master. Because of your lineage your black magic is a bit higher than normal. Your magic capability is above a human but below an elf except for the black magic. That you have a bit too much aptitude for that.

She backs away a bit.

EL: Hmm… Let me try to remember if anyone said anything about dark mystical arts. Hmmm… Oh now I remember. Mom said something about grandpa wanting to get rid of ghost that great grandpa took care of. Maybe that’s it. I’ll have to ask mom if I ever get home. Now Jinny is that it?

JN: Actually you have a special skill master. It’s called void hole.  It seems that you can eat anything, and based on the stuff you eat, you can get a slight boost. But the boost is not that strong master. I’m sorry.

Jinny looks disappointed for me.

EL: What are you sorry for? Sure sending me here is your fault. And transporting me in the middle of nowhere is your fault too but…

She frowns even more and began to tear up.

EL: Gaining that power is not your fault. It’s more like this world fault. Why do they give me this power anyway? Don’t they want me to finish my quest or something?

Her face lightens up. She’s now in her explanation mode again.

EL: Stop. Just give me the reason. I don’t want another info dump about this world.

She takes off her teacher outfit in disappointment and change back to her normal outfit.
JN: Okay master. The reasons are because you are not a real “summoned hero” here. You were transferred here by me and not summoned by anyone here.

EL: Oh so I’m someone that’s unwanted.  That’s really encouraging (It isn’t). Well, whatever.

The feeling of sadness overwhelm me again. How can I survive this if I’m handicapped? Then a hand touch my shoulder. It was Jinny. She was trying to encourage me.

JN: Don’t worry master. You have me. I’ll protect you.

She puffs her bountiful chest, making me laugh.

EL: Yeah, I forgot about you Jinny. Thanks for that. You’re a genie right Jinny. Does that mean I only have 3 wishes?

JN: No master. I’ll help you however I can. If it’s within my power. I will help you. The 3 wishes thing is only for almost all-powerful genies which shouldn’t exist anymore.

EL: That’s encouraging. That means you won’t leave me right Jinny?

JN: What are you saying master. Of course not. I’ll never leave you. We will be together forever.

EL: That sounds a bit creepy Jinny.

JN: That just means I won’t leave you silly master.

EL: If you say so. Alright Jinny, let’s go to town.
I raise my arm and motion forward. Almost soldier like, I march towards the town. Nothing will ever stop me getting to town.


Chapter 4
Alright. I was transported to another world. In the middle of a forest. Gain powers and now hiding from a dragon. You want to know how that last part happened? Listen to my story.

I was like walking towards town minding my own business. Suddenly a huge fucking dragon came out of nowhere and said “This is my forest now. Anyone here will have to pay a toll to me.”
When I heard that, I instantly ran away. But as luck would have it, the dragon actually spotted me. “You dare run away from me puny human?” he said with his loud and booming voice. I ignored him and kept running. The dragon angered by my transgressions fires a huge fireball at me. Luckily Jinny who was always by my side, shielded me and then made a barrier for us to hide from the dragon. Now the dragon might have thought I was dead but if the barrier went down now, he would instantly be able to sense me. I don’t know what to do. Please anyone help me.

EL: Jinny what was that?

JN: Sorry master. That was an ancient dragon. They shouldn’t be around here. This isn’t a place where strong beings like him would stay. I wonder if he is a rogue dragon?

EL: A rogue? Bah, what do I care.  I want to know why you’re late Jinny. I thought you were supposed to protect me?

JN: Again sorry master. For my barrier magic to hide us against a dragon, I need more time to gather a bit more magical energy. I’m really sorry master.

EL: Well, if that’s the reason, it’s okay then. But still what do we do now. We can’t get out of this barrier. That means we can’t get to town.

JN: You can’t get out of the barrier master but I can. The dragon won’t see me. Master, you just stay here. I’ll go get help from the town. There should be someone there to help you master.

EL: Just hurry up please Jinny. I don’t think I can stand it anymore. I haven’t eaten anything since I woke up and it’s already afternoon now.

JN: Don’t worry master. I’ll try to be fast.

With that Jinny flew away. She went as fast as she can. Within a second I can’t even see her anymore. I hope she can find someone to help me.

It has been hours since Jinny left. It’s already the next morning now. I haven’t eaten anything yet. Not even a drink. I’ve tried going out of the barrier but when even one of my fingers is out of the barrier, the dragon instantly looked at my direction. It was frightening. Why the fuck is the dragon still here anyway? Where the hell is Jinny? Jinny please, where are you.

Suddenly the barrier around me begins to fade.

EL: Oh what the fuck is happening now? Come on barrier don’t fall.

As the barrier slowly begin to fade, a loud voice was heard.  A warrior clad in knight’s armour was shouting at the dragon.

KN: Dragon, why are you here? Have you forgotten our treaty, dragon?

DR: Treaty? Heh, why should I follow what weaklings set up? I’m an ancient dragon. I can do whatever I want.

KN: I expected you to say that. So, I’ve contacted the dragon kingdom. They say they will send their people to capture you. I’m here now just to contain you until they come.

DR: Insolent human. You think you alone can contain me? Do you have a death wish?

KN: Who said I was alone?

The knight raised his hand and pointed to the dragon. He then shouted.

KN: MAGICIAN! BIND THIS DRAGON!

Streak of lights suddenly came out from the forest. The lights circle around the dragon and finally binds him.

DR: What’s this? You think this… ugghhhhh… can… bind… ME!

The dragon rages. HE struggles to get out of the bind. The rope of light around the dragon is still firm in place even after the dragon struggles.

DR: YOU DARE DO THIS TO ME!? HOW DARE YOU! I AM AN ANCIENT DRAGON. DON’T THINK YOUR WEAK HUMAN MAGIC CAN CONTAIN ME.

The dragon rages on. Smoke comes out of the dragon’s body. Fire and sparks came rushing out in between the dragon’s scales. His eyes started to glow.

DR: ARRGGGHHHHHH...!!!!

It seems like the dragon is charging.

KN: Dragon, humanity might be weak alone. But together, even an ancient dragon could be fallen. MAGICIANS! KNIGHTS! MY FELLOW COMRADES! SHARE WITH ME YOUR POWER!

The knight’s armour begins to light up fiercely. Lines of light appeared on the knight’s armour making some kind of pattern. With my barrier gone, the pressure from the knight alone manage to force me on the ground kneeling. Even the dragon didn’t release this much pressure. In a fit of rage, the dragon fires of a blast of fire so powerful it scorch the earth below it. The knight with his shield in hand readies to receive the blast of fire. When the fire blast finally impacted the shield, the shockwave it created was overly powerful. It threw me away flying. Not only that, the leftover fire flew right at me. There I thought I was a goner.

Just when I thought I was dead, Jinny appeared out of nowhere and blocked the fire from directly hitting me. The fire exploded in front her but not damaging her the slightest. But the impact still manage to hurt and burn me because how near I am. I scream in pain.

EL: AHHHHHHHHHH… That hurt. That hurt.

JN: Master! Are you okay master?

My screams was heard by the knight that was fighting the dragon.

KN: (People? I checked and there was no one here before this? Did I mess up?) Dragon how dare you hurt a fellow human? I can’t let this stand.

With his sword, he slashed the air in front of him. The shockwave flies and not only cut the dragon but also knocks the dragon out.

KN: Magicians, quickly make a barrier around the dragon. We have to contain him until the people from the dragon kingdom comes. Knights make a perimeter and don’t let anyone through here.

He quickly ascended from where he is and comes near me. His looks quite handsome
KN: Are you okay? I’m quite sorry for that. I should have noticed you sooner. This is my fault.

EL: Can you treat me first? This burn stings a lot.

KN: Sorry. Let me bandage you up.

He took out some bandage from his bag that he brought with. The bandage have a green tint on it. A mystical kind of glow that shows it’s good for healing, if the games I played are correct.
 KN: The bandage have been enchanted a bit so a burn like this shouldn’t take that long to heal.

EL: Thank you sir knight.

KN: Your welcome but what are you doing here anyway? And what are those clothes it. It looks weird and not like it’s from anywhere near here.

EL: Ehehehehe… Well sir knight actually, I’m not from around here. I was transported here against my free will. I was walking near here searching for civilization but this and that happen, now I’m here injured because of the fight between sir knight and the dragon.

The knight’s face begins to sour. It seems like me getting hurt really saddens him. Just as I was about to reassure the knight it wasn’t his fault. I fall. Out of nowhere a grumbling sound was heard. It was my own stomach. After not eating for what seems forever, getting attacked by a dragon and witnessing a fight between two powerful beings, the adrenaline in me finally runs out. With the last bit of strength that I have, I pleaded to the knight.

EL: Sir knight, can you please help me?

Then I fall unconscious.


Chapter 5
I felt comfortable for the first time in a long time… Okay not that long but after 2 days of sleeping on the ground you’ll know how I feel. But still, where am I. I open my eyes only to be surprise there’s a roof over my head. It looks medieval. Oh so someone actually saved me and put me here to rest. Again, this weird people I’ve met so far have been nice. I wonder who actually saved me. It must be the knight right. I was asking him to save me. Lets try getting up first.

JN: Master you’re up. I’m really sorry master.

She started crying asking for forgiveness.

JN: I’m really sorry master. I didn’t protect you. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. *sniff*

EL: Ah. Don’t worry Jinny. Even though you were late in protecting me, at least you’ve tried. If not for you, the burns I got would be even worse.

JN: Are you sure master?*sniff* You could always punish me. I can even conjure you up a whip if you want to.

Her face twisted. It looks like a face of someone in heat. Even though I was the one that would be punishing her. I felt defeated in some way.

EL: Yeahh… That’s okay. I don’t think I want to do that.

JN: But master, you can.

EL: I said it’s okay. Alright, I want to ask you Jinny. Who was the one that brought me here?

JN: Oh, that was the knight that fought the dragon. This is his house. Master, it looks like he’s the captain of the knight’s order here. The order of the Veal Rimmer or something.

EL: He’s really the captain? Well that clears some things up but why am I in his house. I would’ve thought someone important like him would send me to his subordinate.

JN: Shhh… Master! Be quite. He’s coming.

I quickly shut up hoping that he didn’t hear me talking to myself just now.

KN: Oh you’re awake. How are you feeling?

He takes one of the chair that was around and sit right beside the bed I was sleeping on.

EL: I’m fine sir. Thank you for helping me.

Looking at him. He isn’t as muscly as I thought he would be. Maybe the armour makes him look bulkier. Actually his body seems to be leaning more on the lean side. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have muscles. His muscles aren’t big and huge but it’s still there.
