[2014-05-17 20:21:12] <CrystalDM> 03The floor is eerily quite in Stable 41. No more thumping, the stallion is dead. The door to the Overmare's office is dented in, only the smallest of cracks can be looked through. A terminal nearby illuminates the door, glowing softly.
[2014-05-17 20:22:33] * Tallie skips over and peers through one of the cracks. "Hellooooo?"
[2014-05-17 20:23:00] * Militus sits still, staring into the distance.
[2014-05-17 20:23:20] <CrystalDM> 03The room on the other side of the crack is pitch black.
[2014-05-17 20:23:41] * Clue wipes her tears away and starts going at the terminal.
[2014-05-17 20:24:23] * Tallie hmmmms. "Sure is dark in there..." she mutters. "Anyone got a flash light?"
[2014-05-17 20:24:31] <CrystalDM> 03All the remains of the manifested stallion is a dark pipe spear, a sawed-off shotgun, and a suit of armor. All of them are black.
[2014-05-17 20:25:36] * Militus pants heavily. "It's dead...yes...it's dead."
[2014-05-17 20:26:24] * Emerald_Blitz nods to Militus. "Come on, soldier," she says. "Work to do. We'll work out your trauma later. Get that door open." The alicorn moves over to the western door, opens it, and attempts to stabilize the dying chief of security. Doesn't do to let the possible source of information die...
[2014-05-17 20:26:54] * Militus moves over to stand by the door in case Clue's attempts on the terminal don't work out.
[2014-05-17 20:30:46] <CrystalDM> 03The terminal requests a password.
[2014-05-17 20:32:05] * Clue tries hard to not cry further. She works away at the extensive code to find the password for the computer.
[2014-05-17 20:33:50] <CrystalDM> 03As Emerald opens the door, she can see the eaten remains of the security chief. One of the whisper geckos is tugging on the leg with the pipbuck, trying to tear it from the corpse.
[2014-05-17 20:34:32] <Tallie> "DIBS ON THE COMPUTER WATCH!"
[2014-05-17 20:34:50] * Emerald_Blitz swears very colorfully, something about luna's capacity for 'encouraging her troops,' and opens fire on the gecko. Dammit. This was unfortunate.
[2014-05-17 20:37:16] <CrystalDM> 03As Clue attempts to open the door, the password seems to be quite difficult. Each failure message notes 'Would you like a password reminder, Overmare Random Access?'
[2014-05-17 20:37:57] * Clue is getting frustrated, but makes the darned computer give her a..... clue.
[2014-05-17 20:38:42] <CrystalDM> 03The gecko falls over, twitching.
[2014-05-17 20:39:02] * Emerald_Blitz slides the corpse back inside and slams the door again. "FUCK!" she shouts, stomping on the remains of the gecko that she has dragged inside the safer room. "You incendiary cunt!" she shouts at the eaten corpse. "Of all the inconsiderate things that you could have done in thirty seconds...!" The alicorn huffs and snorts, then slumps. "This is ridiculous. Any luck with the door, Clue?"

[2014-05-17 20:39:29] * Tallie walks over and looks at the pipbuck. She tries to find a way to take it off.
[2014-05-17 20:40:25] <CrystalDM> 03The pipbuck seems to be firmly attached to the dead stallion's leg. Its also coated in gecko drool.
[2014-05-17 20:40:28] * Clue shakes her head. "It's pretty hard.... anything no that guy that could give me an edge?..."

[2014-05-17 20:40:57] * Militus looks in shock over at Emerald_Blitz, then pieces the situation together from the corpse with bite marks.
[2014-05-17 20:41:29] * Emerald_Blitz nudges the corpse and scowls at Tallie. "Don't bother," she says irritably. "It needs special tools to remove. Does it give any indication of a password?" she asks. "If worst comes to worst, I could wake my patient and ask her."
[2014-05-17 20:42:57] * Tallie pouts. "Then help me remove the leg then. This wrist majigger is too awesome to pass up."
[2014-05-17 20:44:20] <Asami>	so uhh...any way in to get the foal out?
[2014-05-17 20:44:22] <Militus>	"There is a crack in the door and the child is still inside. Perhaps she can open the door from there?"
[2014-05-17 20:44:23] <Asami>	and uhm...seeing as gecko's showed up again....where is the overmare?
[2014-05-17 20:43:40] * Emerald_Blitz gestures at Random Access. "My patient is the overmare, if Quantum is to be believed," she says. "If she can-" she stops and reloads her shotgun with buckshot, and then.. points it at Tallie. "Touch my patient," she growls, "and you get to join the intensive care ward." The alicorn looks very unsettled.
[2014-05-17 20:44:58] * Clue thinks hard. "Schordinger's Computer".
[2014-05-17 20:48:10] <Asami> not to be poopy here but the door might need to be crowbar'd open at this point seeing as its visibly caved in partially...I'm willing to bet that its non operable by original means
[2014-05-17 20:49:01] * Militus nods. "That's a good point, Asami. My spear might work for that, perhaps."
[2014-05-17 20:49:36] * Clue enters in 'Password'.
[2014-05-17 20:51:06] <CrystalDM> 03The computer beeps. 'Incorrect Password. 2 Tries remaining.'
[2014-05-17 20:51:26] * Clue harumphs.
[2014-05-17 20:51:27] * Emerald_Blitz looks over at those at the door. "If we can enter the proper password, we may be able to get it open to the point where Quantum Bit can join us. She is a very small filly, no?" the alicorn says.
[2014-05-17 20:55:24] * Militus points at the unicorn in Emerald_Blitz's levitation. "If she is Random Access, perhaps she had the password on her wrist-computer?"
[2014-05-17 20:55:40] <Emerald_Blitz> "Or since it's open, talk to her through the gap" Emerald advises, checking on the tortured mare instead. Her shotgun still points at Tallie.
[2014-05-17 20:56:39] <CrystalDM> 03The mare is breathing easily and she seems to be sleeping peacefully.
[2014-05-17 20:57:00] * Clue facehooves. "It's a Pip-Buck! Geez! A highly capable machine of Stable-Tec!"
[2014-05-17 20:57:38] * Militus raises an eyebrow. "So...is it not a computer that is worn on the wrist then?"
[2014-05-17 20:57:59] * Clue gets out and mutters something and approaches the mare and grabs her Pip-Buck accessing the notes.
[2014-05-17 20:58:32] <Clue> "It doesn't just compute. Maps, orginization, notes, radio waves" She lists off.
[2014-05-17 20:59:50] * Militus rolls his eyes. "So you define computers as all being purely calculators then? Why whatever is a machine that uses magic or electricity to perform tasks not involving math?"
[2014-05-17 21:01:14] <Clue> "It has a name though, proving to me neither of you have sufficient knowledge on it. Thus I suggest neither of you use it. Please" She sighs. "Yes, it is a computer of sorts. You are correct"
[2014-05-17 21:04:19] * Emerald_Blitz shoves Clue roughly away from the mare. "Clue!" she half-shouts. "Do NOT touch her! SHe's in delicate condition!" The alicorn levitates her gun from Tallie to point at Clue instead. "Back. Off. I will not have her life threatened by your impatience. THe threat has been removed."
[2014-05-17 21:05:16] * Clue sighs and shakes her head. "So stupid. Could of just said, 'Daughters Name' and saved us the fucking trouble. But as a Overmare I suppose you have to be sneaky and shit...." She looks at Emerald_Blitz. "I was just getting information. I wasn't going to hurt her Em." She then approaches the computer and enters 'Quantum Bit'.
[2014-05-17 21:06:44] * Militus raises his forehooves. "I would never dream of using your 'Pip-bucks'." He smirks. "I would use a...oh dear. I'm afraid that there isn't a word in Equestrian for it."
[2014-05-17 21:06:59] <CrystalDM> 03The computer beeps. 'Password Accepted. Welcome Overmare. Error: Door Jammed. Activate Repair Talisman Y/N?'
[2014-05-17 21:07:04] * Militus muses. "I should think up a translation for that."
[2014-05-17 21:07:37] <Clue> "YES YOU FUCKING THING!" She's getting upset. "GIVE GIVE ME THE FILLY!" She's tearing up again. 'Y' She enters.
[2014-05-17 21:09:04] <CrystalDM> 03The terminal beeps again. 'Working, please wait.' The symbol for Stable-Tec rotates on the screen as the door glows and the cracks and dents start repairing themselves.
[2014-05-17 21:11:44] * Clue starts to trot on the spot right outside the door.
[2014-05-17 21:13:10] * Emerald_Blitz floats the unconscious mare up to the others and puts her gently down on the tables next to the door and attempts to gently wake her. "Miz Access?" the alicorn says gently. "Overmare Random Access, I need you to wake up now, please, your daughter needs you," she says.
[2014-05-17 21:17:07] <CrystalDM> 03The over mare murmurs slightly, shaking her head. It takes her a few moments, but her eyes open. They are green, and slightly slitted. She blinks twice as she looks up at the alicorn, and then screams. "No! No, get back! I won't let you have her!" The pegasus tries to fly, and even hovers off the edge of the table for a moment before she goes crashing back down onto the table.
[2014-05-17 21:19:04] * Emerald_Blitz wraps the panicking mare in a green glow as a soothing mist flows from her horn, numbing the mare's pain and soothing her muscles. "Shhh, shh," Emerald says. "It's all right, it's all right, Miss Access," the alicorn soothes. "It's all right. We're rescuing her from your office right now, your daughter Quantum is safe."
[2014-05-17 21:20:53] * Militus cautiously picks up the dark spear dropped by the manifestation. "Captain, would you mind if I held on to this?"

[2014-05-17 21:22:47] * Emerald_Blitz looks at the dark spear trepidatiously. "I suppose so, Militus. It may prove valuable to your arsenal, just... beware its side affects." The alicorn turns to her patient. "Understandable. I've seen evidence of the trauma you've endured, and I... sincerely apologize," she says with a disgusted scowl. [2014-05-17 21:22:48] * Emerald_Blitz ...please..." She points at the door that's partially open.
[2014-05-17 21:23:22] * Militus looks at the spear warily and then puts it away. It can be tested later.
[2014-05-17 21:27:35] * Tallie grumbles to herself. "Point a shotgun at me... thought we were friends..." she sits and sulks.
[2014-05-17 21:28:13] <CrystalDM> 03The mare looks over to the door, and nods. "Quantum? Honey, its ok. You can come out." For a moment, there is silence, followed by the door opening. A little purple filly with blue mane peeks out. She looks over at the group, screams in terror and runs back inside, slamming the door shut behind her.
[2014-05-17 21:29:05] <Asami> hiyas Quantum! its me Asami!
[2014-05-17 21:30:10] * Emerald_Blitz lowers the shotgun and stows it in her holster saddle. "Tallie..." the alicorn says, then snorts. "I... sorry, little one, I'm running very hot right now and I don't know why. Drugs are bad, all right?" Emerald takes a moment to compose herself, then sets Random Access down gently in front of the door. "Try again, ma'am. She doesn't seem to be responding well."
[2014-05-17 21:30:43] * Tallie grumbles some more. "Better be. I will be less than pleased next time."
[2014-05-17 21:31:26] * Militus looks perplexed. "You don't think that maybe we've gained an unsavory reputation, do you?"
[2014-05-17 21:31:59] <CrystalDM> 03Random looks over at the group a little warily, but nods. She taps out the code on the terminal, and the door opens. "Random, honey? Its ok. They're good. They aren't like the others." The mare walks inside, and there is the sounds of a filly crying.
[2014-05-17 21:32:52] <Clue> "Quantum, please. There is nothing to be afraid of" Clue knocks gently at the door. "We fought off all the big scary ponies and junk... please come out. I... er... we want to see you safe and sound"
[2014-05-17 21:36:04] <Asami> Hey Emmy? if you could would you either hide the horn, or the wings...or hide altogether?...Quantum freaked out at the sight of you specifically for some reason
[2014-05-17 21:36:55] * Tallie stands infront of Emerald_Blitz. "That good enough?"
[2014-05-17 21:37:31] * Emerald_Blitz opens her mouth, then appears thoughtful for a moment, then snaps it shut. "Random Access, please deal with your daughter," she says, sounding ridiculously weary. "I'll... wait outside as Asami suggests," she says, her shield shimmering into existence around her again. "There may be more geckos between us and the entry." THe alicorn tiredly walks toward the door."
[2014-05-17 21:37:57] * Militus gets up and accompanies Emerald_Blitz outside.

[2014-05-17 21:38:56] <CrystalDM> 03As Emerald_Blitz approaches the door to the hallway, the door to the Overmare's office opens. "Everyone? Please come inside. We need to talk." The filly is hiding behind Random Access.
[2014-05-17 21:39:28] <Asami> everyone? even the big scarey princess?
[2014-05-17 21:39:44] * Militus stops and turns around. "Hopefully this will shed some light on this bizarre Stable, at least..."
[2014-05-17 21:40:06] <CrystalDM> 03Random Access nods. "Yes. Especially. We've got some explaining to do."
[2014-05-17 21:40:09] * Emerald_Blitz walks away farther. "I'll let you discuss," the medic says. "I don't wish to disturb her more than necessary."
[2014-05-17 21:40:11] * Clue quickly takes the invite and waits eagerly to hear of the state of the filly. She looks physically eager"

[2014-05-17 21:40:32] * Asami goes to let Emerald know before rejoining the others
[2014-05-17 21:41:16] * Tallie walks beside Em. "Why did you take them drugs?" she asks. "I thought drugs were for slugs."

[2014-05-17 21:42:42] * Emerald_Blitz stops and looks at the little dragon. "I know she said that, but..." Emerald hangs her head. "I can already feel the aftereffects of the drug sinking in... what amount of help is a drug-addled monster going to be in this situation?" the alicorn says sadly, not looking at the dragon. She doesn't dare look at the little griffon, either. "It was a necessary evil, as are all combat stimulants..."
[2014-05-17 21:44:08] * Militus walks into the room slowly, trying not to startle anyone.
[2014-05-17 21:44:35] * Asami chuckles at Emerald "you are many things sweety...but monster aint one of them...C'mon...she wants to explain stuff and said you are why...so just hang in the back of the group and do what I do ....nod your head, smile, and say yes mmm-hmm....I see...if you can't control your thoughts..." Asami grins and waddles back inside
[2014-05-17 21:45:52] * Emerald_Blitz sighs and turns around. "Tallie. I... I'm sorry, I just... got carried away with trying to protect others. Maybe you'll see the value when you're the patient, but... in the meantime I ask your forgiveness. Shall we go?"
[2014-05-17 21:46:27] * Tallie is distracted and walks into a wall. "Oof!" She rubs her beak and grumbles, then looks up at Em. "Eh. I'm alive." Then she nods. "Yeah. Sure."
[2014-05-17 21:48:14] * Emerald_Blitz uses a wing to hug the small griffon, then slings her onto her back. "Let's go talk to the mare and her daugher. It's why we're here, and it may provide insight into Project Gemini."
[2014-05-17 21:49:13] * Clue continues to wait to see if the filly was ok. Completely ignoring gear.... for now.
[2014-05-17 21:49:28] * Tallie whoops when she gets sweeped up. "Woah, still not used to that." She then hugs Em's back. "So... if we can get it off, can I have the pip-buck?"
[2014-05-17 21:51:08] <CrystalDM> 03Once everyone is inside, the mare closes the door. She taps out some keys and the lights come on inside the Overmare's office. "I'm sealing off the lower levels... I don't want more monsters leaving this Stable. One moment."
[2014-05-17 21:51:56] * Emerald_Blitz chuckles at Tallie. "Maybe. Now let's listen to the mare, shall we?" she says, then turns her attention to Random Access. "What do you mean, 'more monsters?'" she asks/
[2014-05-17 21:52:38] * Clue whipsers. "Is... is Quantum Bit okay?..." She rubs her hoof at the floor.

[2014-05-17 21:55:20] <CrystalDM> ...the screens. "These are the labs. When she came, two weeks ago, she told us that we were Equestria's last hope. That she needed an army to stop the zebra. We... well, we believed her."
[2014-05-17 21:56:35] * Clue lets out the biggest sigh of relief in her life followed by her widest smile. She waves back at the filly.

[2014-05-17 21:56:50] * Emerald_Blitz looks at the security feeds, then shakes her head. "No... his isn't possible..." the alicorn looks at the monitors, walking up almost nose-to-screen.
[2014-05-17 21:56:59] <CrystalDM> 03On the screens are... something. Pods, maybe? Fleshy and pulsing. That purplish-black mold covers everything, and small, baby geckos, bloated porcupines and numerous other creatures roam about. Some seem to just be caring for the young, others appear to be moving them as they grow.
[2014-05-17 21:57:39] * Militus sighs. "Wonderful. I thought that way of thinking was more limited. I suppose this is my reward for foolishness."
[2014-05-17 21:59:35] * Emerald_Blitz looks even more vicious than she ever has. "We burn it," she says without remorse. "We burn all of it or the Wasteland suffers. How." She turns to Random Access. "How do we burn it. I don't care what it takes, how do we burn the lower levels."

[2014-05-17 22:02:37] * Emerald_Blitz grits her teeth. "How did a Stable that was designed to be peaceful manage to create a breeding ground for monsters?" she asks Random Access. "Please, I... I would rather believe any other option but that."

Some rooms contain dark spires of monoliths inside...each monolith appears to be growing out of the body of a pony... or a griffin... or a zebra. "No, I am causing the reactors to melt down and irradiate the Stable. Setting them to explode would also work, but I want to be sure they are sealed inside and can't escape."
[2014-05-17 22:06:40] * Militus blanches in horror at the images on the monitors.

[2014-05-17 22:08:41] * Emerald_Blitz looks at the monitors, then begins to cry. "Just burn it all. Irradiation won't do it," the medical mare says. "Seal it as best you can and I'll get explosives and experts to seal the rest. Regardless of the rest of the knowledge contained here." Emerald turns to Random. "Just download everything you have access to to your PipBuck and we'll call this a loss. Perhaps your best results will...

[2014-05-17 22:10:35] * Clue stares at the screen. "...that's... something alright...."
