  1. === CAMPAIGN SYSTEM ===
  2. 1. Multi DMs, multi players.
  3. 2. Level cap and season is changed monthly.
  4.
  5.
  6. === COMMON GROUNDS ===
  7. 1. PCs are members of Frontier United Navigators.
  8. 2. PCs are non-native of Glyphrock.
  9. 3. PCs are actively participating and willingly contributing in missions of Frontier United Navigators, and respecting (including not attacking nor provoking) other members.
  10.
  11.
  12. === CAMPAIGN PLANS ===
  13. 1. Major Theme: Encroaching destructive Chaos forces, Survivals, Explorations, Interactions.
  14. 2. Chapter-based. One Chapter = 4 months of real time.
  15. 3. Arcs. Any DM who want to make an Arc should at least 'close' the Arc for each Chapter. Or simply, please use Chapters too in the Arc.
  16. 4. Total Chapters = 2 (8 months of real time, 2 years of game time). Each Chapter = 4 Seasons of game time = 1 year of game time.
  17. 5. Level Cap monthly plan: 3-5-6-7 | 8-10-11-12
  18.
  19.
  20. === THE AIRSHIPS ===
  21. a. The airships are extremely rare; each DM may only have one.
  22. b. Airships travel at the speed of 60ft, can ascend and descend at the speed of 10ft.
  23. c. Airships can travel crossing the Sky and reach another Continent.
  24. d. Inland flights are difficult, especially due to the difficulties to land; totally different than landing at Continent.
  25. e. Airship's maintenances are extremely expensive, and only sponsored to make expeditions to another Continent.
  26.
  27.
  28. === THE CONTINENT AND THE SKY ===
  29. a. Only Airship can cross the Sky, and it really depends on the Weather or the Chaos Storm.
  30. b. Each DM may create a specific Continent that only appears or approaches during their sessions.
  31. c. DM may share these Continent with other DMs.
  32.
  33.
  34. === DM GUIDE ===
  35. 1. Read this guide thoroughly and carefully.
  36. 2. This is a multi DM, shared setting. Respect other players.
  37. 3. Remember that all of us want to play and have some fun.
  38. 4. Avoid creating anything that states 'most', such as 'strongest' or 'richest'.
  39. 5. Avoid specifics, prefer blur, especially about time and space.
  40. 6. Avoid creating NPCs who are simply too powerful, especially in the influence. Discuss with other DMs if you need to spread influences and power of the NPCs.
  41. 7. Avoid creating difficult situations to other players and DMs. Want some trouble? Limit them at your games only.
  42. 8. Avoid using Deus ex Machina, but NEVER intentionally make a difficult combat encounter just because you can. Thematic combats with nice exploration aspect, and vast chance to nurture interactions between PCs, are highly preferred.
  43. 9. Respect PC's abilities. Avoid auto-failing something too often, just because you can. A Land with some dead magic area might be fun, but a Land with dead magic area at all places is not fun for magic users.
  44. A. Remember that all of us want to play and have some fun. Begin each session with conscious intention of having some fun with everyone.
  45. B. This is a multi DM, shared setting. Respect other players. Do not use others' properties without permission.
  46. C. Read the above guide thoroughly and carefully.
  47.
  48. --- <NPC Guide> ---
  49. 1. DM may create an organization that hire the PCs (mission giver).
  50. 2. This organization may have access to a maximum of 2 Airships.
  51. 3. Please use Influence and Power at a very modest rate, with slow escalation; Influence and Power Level can be adjusted as CGM sees fit, including the utter destruction of organization (or retconning events related to the organization).
  52.
  53.
  54.
  55. === PLAYER GUIDE ===
  56. 1. This is a multi DM, shared setting. Respect other players.
  57. 2. Remember that all of us want to play and have some fun.
  58. 3. Remember that DM has final say on events during their session, do not make unnecessary argument especially inside session. If a DM says that you fail, then you fail.
  59. 4. If you have some disagreement or discontent, tell to the player directly, and immediately after the game.
  60. 5. Remember that all of us want to play and have some fun. Begin each session with conscious intention of having some fun with everyone.
  61. 6. This is a multi DM, shared setting. Respect other players. Be prepared with inconsistencies due to variety of DMs, and try to avoid player knowledge.
  62.
  63.
  64.
  65. === SESSION GUIDE FOR DM ===
  66. 1. Monthly there will be detailed DOs and DON'Ts.
  67. 2. Remember to keep it local; Respect other DMs and Players.
  68. 3. DM may not use their PC inside their game.
  69. 4. The 'unit' of Session is 'Scene'.
  70. 5. 1 Session of playing gives 1 'Scene', and each combat with normal difficulty or higher give 1 'Scene'.
  71. 6. Each DM may only give 1 (one) Magic Item for each number of 'Scene' done. Handing out Magic Item restarts the Scene accumulated.
  72. 7. The cost to hand out Magic Item is based on the rarity (and availability depending on Season), as follows:
  73. -- Common : 5 Scenes.
  74. -- Uncommon : 10 Scenes.
  75. -- Rare : 20 Scenes.
  76. -- Very Rare : 50 Scenes.
  77. 8. Magic Item's property and quirk must be randomized through the Forum.
