- >reposting Alt yandere Charlie sequel from a few days ago
- >You awoke to the sound of one of your coworkers spilling their coffee on another coworker and delivering a barrage of apologies
- >You silently scolded yourself for drifting off AGAIN
- >And judging by your boss clearing his throat next to you, you were in for a bit of trouble
- >"Enjoying your nap Anon?"
- >You held in a sigh as you blinked a couple times to really wake up
- "Sorry Mr Kowl,"
- >He rolled his eyes
- >"This is the 3rd time this week I've caught you dozing off, is everything good at home?"
- "Yeah, just not getting much sleep."
- >Kowl hadn't been as hard as he was on you back when you started here.
- >If this happened months ago, you would've found yourself on the street within 20 minutes
- >But not today
- >"Well take it easy then, can't have anything bad happen to any of our staff, a lawsuit is not what we need."
- >Kowl went back to his office, leaving you alone again at your desk.
- >You checked the clock
- >4:30
- >You only had a half an hour left of your day before you could go home.
- >And it went by quick, considering you had little work left to do.
- >Finally when the clock did reach 5 you left the building and began your walk back to the apartments.
- >Chicago, it wasn't Manhattan or L.A, but nevertheless it was a busy city.
- >But you lived a little ways away from all the bustling traffic in the more quieter areas, wasn't a rich area, but you didn't hear anyone ever getting robbed or mugged at night.
- >Even then as you walked, the sun began dropping, winter approaching fast, and with it longer nights.
- -
- >As you walked, you began feeling like you were being watched
- >Despite knowing you weren't, the feeling was going away.
- >Even after doing a full check around you, the feeling of anxiety persisted still
- >Finally it faded as you as you entered your apartment building.
- >Once you reached your room you felt at peace once again.
- >You got yourself washed up and showered before getting yourself in more comfy clothing.
- >Dinner consisted of a microwaveable meal and a small water bottle.
- >Nothing really stuck out on T.V, now that the Kung-Flu was practically gone.
- >You found a classic movie and watched that before bedtime rolled around, which was early tonight due to your exhaustion
- >Before going to bed, you opened up your journal to look back on some entries.
- >Past the cover, you were met by a drawing
- >There were to figures standing together holding hands.
- >One of them was some ordinary joe, the other a girl with long red hair
- >Above then we're two words in all caps:
- >"TOGETHER FOREVER!!!"
- >You flipped past it, trying to pretend the drawing didn't exist.
- >You didn't draw it, Charlie did
- >It had been several months (9 months) since the events of that week happened.
- >You and two of your friends went on that hike in Colorado
- >You got lost and found the Hazbin Hotel and met Charlie
- >Then after that, all hell let lose
- >A part of you wished that one day you would just wake up and forget all about that week
- >That it would all just seem like one horrible nightmare
- >But that drawing sat there as an ever present reminder
- >You thought that Charlie drew it while she had your diary during your stay.
- >You did try to get rid of that drawing, but nothing worked.
- -
- >When you tried erasing it, the drawing came back the next day
- >When you tried tearing it out, the page reappeared magically as if it weren't torn out
- >When you tried using white out, the whiteout literally BURNED AWAY right before your own eyes, leaving the rest of the journal untouched
- >When you burned your whole journal, it reappeared on your bed the next day, opened to the drawing
- >And of course just leaving it hidden away at a library didn't work either, the damned thing reappeared right outside your door, opened to the drawing
- >You guessed Charlie must have enchanted the whole goddamn book, and so you gave up and left it be
- >It wasn't like it was hurting you or anything.
- >As you read your past entries, you came across a tear mark in your journal, like someone had ripped out a page.
- >Another thing Charlie did to your journal, she took a page from it.
- >You had a good guess as to which one it was, since you couldn't find a specific entry afterwards.
- >After you finished reminiscing, you closed the book and left it on a nearby shelf.
- >After turning everything off in your apartment, you went to sleep within seconds.
- >At least here she couldn't reach you, here Charlie couldn't do anymore demonic crap, right?
- >Oh boy, how wrong you were.
- -
- >You woke up in a bed that wasn't yours that was in a room that also wasn't yours
- >However, it did look familiar to you.
- >You got up and examined yourself
- >You were wearing casual clothing on instead of the pajamas you slept in
- >When you opened the door leading you out of the room everything became black and white, literally
- >It was like seeing everything through some old video.
- >You were standing in the muddle of what looked like a hallway lined with doors similar to yours
- >Then you noticed that each of them were numbered.
- >And when you read your number
- "..........."
- >66
- >You had room 66 back at the hotel
- >And the room you had just left was room sixty-freaking-six
- >It all came flooding back to you
- >You were back at the Hazbin Hotel
- >This couldn't have been real you thought to yourself
- >You knew you had to get out.
- >You weren't going to jump out the window, you remembered the deer demon Alastor who roamed the woods at this hour.
- >And of course he'd probably love to pay you back for blasting him with a shotgun to the face.
- >So, you decided on going to the lobby and working your way from there.
- >As you walked down the corridor, you noticed how quiet it was
- >Not a single noise could be heard as you kept a steady pace
- >Just like before
- >That's when you heard it
- >A scream, a man
- >He was in trouble
- >"HELP, HELP SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME"
- >You knew that voice from somewhere, but you just couldn't remember where
- >Soon you heard footsteps echoing down the hallway, coming towards you.
- >Before you could do anything else, the runner cane into your view
- >"Hey, you gotta help me, we need get out now."
- >Then he did a double take and his jaw dropped
- >"Anon?"
- "Yes?"
- >He was silent
- "Do I know you?"
- >When you looked at his face again, you slowly began to realize who this was.
- >But before you could say anything, footsteps were coming closer to your location.
- >"FUCK, we have to leave, he's going to kill us."
- >You had no choice but to flee with the man who Stacy cheated with.
- -
- >And now, continuing from there
- >The two of you ran down the hall, frequently checking behind you
- "So, Mike was it? What are you doing here?"
- >"No clue, I woke up in an empty room and this guy started chasing me."
- >Same as you, except that you were chased
- "What did the guy look like?"
- >"Looked to be in his 30s, weird hairstyle, something from decades ago probably. And his eyes were fucking burning."
- "Hang on what?"
- >"I'm not lying, his eyes looked like they were on fire. You know him?"
- "No, just.....lets keep going."
- >Fiery eyes, old hair cut.
- >It couldn't have been him could it?
- >The memory of the man you met in the basement hadn't faded, you remembered him clear as day.
- >Just then Mike stopped you in your tracks and point up ahead
- >"That's him, right there."
- >Sure enough, there stood the man from the basement
- >He looked the same as he did the night you first saw him.
- >He smiled when his eyes met yours
- >This time, your legs actually worked, you and Mike bolted
- >But the man was also running, and he was armed
- >You then heard what sounded like a stab, and then Mike yelp in pain
- >You turned to see that the man had tossed his knife at him, and now Mike lay behind you bleeding out
- >"NO NO NO, ANON, ANON DONT LEAVE ME!!!!!"
- >He gave one last scream as the man grabbed him by the legs and dragged him into the darkness.
- >You heard more stabs and slashes as the man made quick work of Mike.
- >Soon his blazing eyes glanced at you again.
- >You found a unlocked door and slammed it shut behind you.
- >You locked it just in time, the man began trying to bust his way in.
- >You backed away from the door to catch your breath.
- >Then the banging stopped, but you didn't dare move.
- -
- >When Anon did leave the room, he did so slowly
- >Back tracking to the spot he lost Mike, he found a trail of blood staining the carpet.
- >The drag marks led deeper into the darkness, where Anon wasn't going
- >Nope, he saw what the man did to Mike, and he wasn't having any of that
- >He crept through the dark hallways and stopped whenever he heard even the smallest of sounds
- >Finally he made it to the lobby.
- >The doors were just up ahead, all he had to do was open them and leave.
- >"Anon?"
- >That voice, you didn't like it
- >A familiar girl's voice echoed through the lobby, as a scarlet girl materialized in front of you
- >It was Charlie, here red hair and arm being the only signs of color in the black and white haze
- >"Anon, it's you..."
- >You began backing away,
- >Charlie's arm stretched oily, beckoning you closer
- >"Finally........I've found you......."
- >She walked gracefully towards you, or it seemed like she did, your vision blurred a small bit
- >"You won't get away, not this time. We'll be together forever."
- >Her hand clamped around your wrist, it felt like your wrist was on fire as she did.
- >But just then, you woke up in your own bed
- >Sweat dripped from your forehead as you checked the time
- >6:30
- >Was that it? Was it all a dream?
- >You laid back down for a little bit, contemplating on what just happened
- >It all felt so real, it couldn't have been a dream
- >And Mike, he was there too
- >Last you checked, he and Stacy never got back together.
- >Instead he moved away to Miami and wasn't heard since.
- >When you checked your wrist though, you saw what looked like a burn
- >But on the back of it, you saw some kind of tattoo or marking.
- >And you knew that wasn't there when you went to bed the night before.
- -
- >After you were done, you quickly went through your morning routine and got to work early, hopping that the workload for today would help you forget about the nightmare
- >As you worked, the marking on your wrist began burning up at random times during the day.
- >You'd be writing a report, filing stuff away, or doing just about anything, when all of a sudden, it would burn.
- >But as quick as it came the pain left just as quickly.
- >And soon enough you found yourself outside the building ready to go home
- >This time however, outside your apartment building, a man approached you
- >He wore a long brown coat, and looked to be in his late 40s
- >His grayish beard gave him a older vibe to him.
- >"Are you Anon Moose by any chance?"
- "Yeah, do you need something?"
- >He pulled out a badge, you spotted a gun holstered in his hip underneath the coat
- >"Anon, I'm Detective Brian Garret, I'm gonna have to ask you come to down to the station with me."
- >He gestured to the police car parked close by
- "Why?"
- >"I'll explain it as we go, nothing you need to worry about yet, I just want to talk, that's all."
- >And so you reluctantly stepped in and found yourself in an interrogation room, Garret sat facing you.
- "So, what's this all about?"
- >Garret pulled a folder out and opened it
- >And pulled out a picture of Mike
- >"Anon, you do recognize this man do you?"
- "Yeah, his names Mike, he slept with my girlfriend while we were dating."
- >He placed the photo down next to him
- >"Right, you see, unfortunately this morning Mike was found dead in his home."
- >Your mind went blank.
- >"He's dead?"
- >The detective nodded
- "How?"
- >"Well, judging how the body was found, we believe it was a homicide."
- >He showed you another picture
- >Mike had long deep slash marks all along his body, and even a few stab wounds in his chest.
- >The memories from last night came flooding back, seeing the man slashing away at the poor guy as you watched
- >You almost didn't hear the detective through your own thoughts
- -
- >"So, you probably know what I'm gonna say next, but where were you last night?"
- >So you told the detective about your day from when you left work to when you went to sleep.
- >Afterwards Garret told you he believed your story, since you couldn't have done it anyway, with considering that he was still in Miami when he was killed
- >After a few more questions, you thought it was all over
- >Then he paused, and switched the topic
- >"You know Anon, I've done some research on you, turns out you've been involved in two others deaths before this, correct?"
- >You nodded, remembering your old pals Peter and James
- >"Three men go hiking in the woods, a well goes by, one of the comes out wounded but alive, the other two dead, you wouldn't mind telling me about anything else that happened up in those mountains would you?"
- "You said you did your research, don't you already know the story?"
- >"I do, some psychopaths lure you into a hotel, killed your friends and tried to do the same to you, yeah I know. But it's just that this case fascinates me. Given the building's dark past, and now this, really gets the mind running you know?"
- >You nodded.
- "Did you guys find them yet?"
- >The detective shook his head
- >"I'm afraid not, the guys down in Colorado are already talking about dropping the case, we haven't found any other evidence yet, and chances are they're already out of the country."
- >So for a few more minutes you and Garret talked, before he let you go and you went home.
- >By the time you got back, your mind was racing with all kinds of thoughts
- >This couldn't have been a coincidence
- >Something was still there at that hotel
- >And it was killing people now
- >As much as this troubled you, you didn't know what to do
- >Going back to the hotel was a big no no for you, since Charlie could be there and would no doubt want to keep you
- >And speaking of, there was that mark on your wrist too
- >All of these stayed with you for the rest of the evening as you went to bed.
- -
- >Elsewhere......
- (P.O.V: Charlie)
- >You flipped through the book furiously
- >Last night was a fucking disaster
- >Yes, you were finally able to summon Anon, but things got out of hand
- >It turns out he wasn't alone
- >There was another mortal summoned alongside him
- >Though you did learn he was the one responsible for ruining your dear Anon's life by seducing Stacy away from him
- >But then again, that was a good thing, cause now Anon was single and was going to mingle, with you
- >You just needed to know what you were doing wrong and fix it.
- >And you had to do it fast, you load to close the hotel off again just so you could have the space needed to bring Anon in without any interruptions
- >You knew damn well what a couple of succubi would do to that innocent boy, and it wouldn't be pretty
- >Once you felt confident, you'd try this again, perhaps tomorrow.
- >For now, reading had to be done.
- And that'll be it for tonight. More to come soon.
