Buddies


Baroret - Bugbear - Expert at Massage, work/lives at the Chapel of White Swallow. People doesn't mind the fact he's a bugbear and easy to understand considering how friendly he is!

Augmul - Goliath - Wizard, enormous belly for a goliath, loves food. Met at a visit to the bath house

Tormund - Dwarf - White haired dwarf who's an expert blacksmith. Married to an orc who is currently in Icewind Dale

Mordecai - Orc - A fellow bard who took notice of Yarrick's talents and greatly enjoyed playing flute with him

Steve - Human - A man who escaped the clutches of women and seek rehabilitation at Mansheim's mines, life has been turning around for him

Zerxik - Tiefling - (more of an acquaintance!) Owner of a gentleman club called White Swallow who strongly dislikes the chapel for "stealing" the name. Willing to give Yarrick a second try once he established a fitting social position.



Rumors


Vandrad has a rival somewhere in town, another orc who is the opposite of him in terms of style. A man who focuses on brute strength than dexterty.

The newly opened bath house has a special suite option for the wealthy and men who's been there are saying its something you should miss - if you have the gold

The strange doctor who calls himself Dazzle seems to have some sort of connection with a dangerous man. People say that after he's been on some kind of meeting, the ground seem to decay for a while...

There has been talks about men suddenly getting their hands on new kinds of underwear people havent seen before and the quality is beyond remarkable. It seems foreign but very, very appealing to the eye

The coming arrival of the mogu nobleman has made people nervous as some know how serious it is. They talk about how the mogu looks down upon others and deem them unworthy in their eyes and the married mayors Baerdor and Bjorn wants this deal very badly. Enough that they might be willing to bend for this mogu nobleman's wishes...



Points of interest


Thermae - A bath house that has been recently opened just some ten-day ago. The owner is an older looking human gentleman and Yarrick visited it at one point. The bath was extraordinary and very mystic and beautiful. He met Augmul here and feels this was worth his time, even if he didn't go to the suite.

Wizard's Sleeve - A mage tower next to the Chapel of White Swallow, Augmul works/lives there and while its as old as the town itself, it seems a great place to find tomes, books and to make research about magical things

White Swallow (the bar) - A gentlemen club driven by the Tiefling Zerxik and far too expensive for Yarrick at the moment. There was attempts of playing music but he was deemed not good enough to play the Viol and was quickly shoved out when they learned he didn't have a home or money.

White Swallow (The chapel) - Home to the paladin and cleric order who takes care of all the divine needs the townsfolk might have. Mostly dedicated to various mining gods as of the nature of the town. The paladins and cleric seemed rather lightly dressed from the usual expectation and Yarrick who felt curious peeked in saw that nudity was very accepted in this establishment - and also kissing!

The Deep Crevice Mine - The mine the town is famous for and is very rich in metals, gems and jewels as if Moradin himself had blessed it. Its very easy to find work there since all you need to do is sign a contract of not stealing anything and that you'll sell what you find to the officials there. The only rule is that its extremely strictly forbidden to speak of females in there or even mention the cursed word. The mining workers seems to be in very good spirits as they find harmony deep underground, working with fellow men who don't care how they look, sweat or behave. Everyone seems to be friends with each other down there. During a visit there, Yarrick talked with a human called Steve who seemed to love being down there, especially when orcs got rowdy with him.
