- Riders and Voices.
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
- A Voice is the corpse of an ancient, enlightened entity, made metal. Hardness is typically not a factor, as a Voice that is not ridden is impossible to damage, and a Voice that IS ridden, has it's hardness depend on it's Rider's aura and spiritual strength. Voices are typically bland creatures, with vague (usually but not always) humanoid shapes, that do not stand out from one another. Once a full contract is made, the Voice regains something of it's original appearance.
- Voices are supported by the Riders, who grant them a power source, the ability to move, or use various items, skills, or other specifics. The Riders in turn, control the Voice through whatever their actual task is.
- Each Voice possesses unique abilities which the Rider has access too when Riding them only. Voices usually have very variable sizes, and shapes. Most of them have one weapon of some sort, although bare handed Voices do exist. They exhibit various powers. However, when Ridden things change.

- Riders.
- The humans who choose to ride a Voice. There is a set number of Rider types, and Voice types to match them. Voices provide a Rider with their name, through which the Rider is transformed into a battle form reminiscent of the Voice. Armor, weapons or powers are granted to the Rider. Stronger Riders can even summon the full form of their Voice all around their bodies, making them temporarily invincible against anything but other full-formed Voices.
- Riders are usually impervious to harm via normal means, and need another Rider to take them out. Their speed, strength and other attributes skyrocket, comparatively to their human form (although this depends on the Voice too). Riders make a deal with a Voice, in which the Voice grants their true name, and the Rider calls upon the power of their Voice when needed.

- Clarity Rider
- "When one lets go of his body, he can finally become immortal. When one lets go of his mind, he can finally become enlightened. When one lets go of his heart, however, he begins burning with the frightening heat of CLARITY. His form is one of perfect blackness, and his soul cannot be stared into, for it is the endless pit of TRUTH. And from his existence that denies existence, proceeds the power to KILL." - Aul Ahn-Malkana Prim Deas-lim, Priest of the Eye Beyond.
- A Clarity Rider possesses the ability of heightened reflexes while riding a Voice.
- Valor Rider
- "A true wielder of the concept Valor, must bear upon himself all the darkness that he sees, all the illness that he feels upon his skin, all the blood that he can taste, all the lies that he can hear, and all the death that he can smell. His soul must be an infinite ocean, that not even all the evils in the world can corrupt or invert. A Valor Rider is a Hero, in the fullest sense of the world, one that carries everything in the world within him. His ego is sublime and his existence can anchor everything towards himself." - Sectis, Crown-Prince of Sorovial.
- A Valor Rider can summon the weapons or some skills of a Rider, while out of Riding-form.
- Fate Rider
- "Immortal life is a pointless end, but an even worse mean. Tragedy in and of itself, is the inevitable fall or corruption of one of heroic disposition, due to their own shortcomings, even if their goals are pure, in the end . One that knows he will surely perish, yet continues down the same path towards misfortune. A person like that is an idiot, a complete fool. Feed your ideals to the maggots, and throw aside your pride and ego. Enjoy life, each passing day, and do not seek to become poisoned by grand desires. Their burden will crush you, surely." - Unknown
- A Fate Rider possesses powerful regeneration and energy, being able to physically enhance their Voice to greater heights, while healing it in and out of combat. Sometimes, when out of combat they are granted fragments of the experience a Voice had in life, enhancing their human functionality.
- Sight Rider
- "Sight or Vision is the power to alter reality. While the impossible cannot be achieved, those with strong vision can become learned enough to approach it infinitely. Manifestation of what cannot be is out of the grasp, but the path is not blocked off. When one is permitted to take the serpentine path to an unreachable goal, one is allowed to infinitely approach it without claiming it. A practical soul fails to care on the subtle difference that is the limit, and makes do with what she is given. She has attained what others struggle against reality to bring about, through ordinary means." - Yuria, Queen of Currod, sorceress extraordinaire.
- A Sight Rider can peer into the soul of a Voice, and occasionally summon some of it's greater power, in the form of a special attack. Will Rider
- "Will is an existence of many simultaneous states and great power that exists in perfect coherence and order with itself. You must not look to yourself for even one second. Human imperfection is unsuited for the power that will carries. Instead, focus on what you desire. You must desire it with every figment of your being, and when there are not enough figments, expand your being to include more. You must strive to it with all of your possible effort, and then make impossible effort to attain it. Only then will reality surrender itself, and allow you to do as you please." - Aestora Quistes, Sword-Ruler of the Wastes.
- Will Riders can channel an aura around their Voice, which allows several manifestations like high jumping, small range teleportation, energy strikes at close quarters or greater range if need be.
- Truth Rider
- "Truth is the ultimate entity. Existence is shaped by perception. He who attains truth is one who has cast away falsity, and thus can wield it without a problem. One enlightened is not touched by lies, but he can spin them around as he wishes. What one can best manipulate, is what one knows not to exist, after all. However, Truth is in and of itself self-contradictory. One's truth is not that of another, and one can claim to have attained it, only in the face of those he can deny more than." - Yak-Ul, Semi-mythical monk who ascended into a greater realm of existence.
- Truth Riders can Ride multiple Voices. They exhibit this ability by being able to shift through their Voice forms. Most Truth Riders can only Ride just two however.
- Strength Rider
- "STRENGTH IS JUSTICE! Strength is the definition of all there is, because strength trumps all. Strength if the only self-evident truth. Strength is all that matters, the only thing that is important! Trust in Strength! Praise Strength! Obtain Strength! Become strong, and you can become anything else! PRAISE STRENGTH! OPPRESS THE WEAK THROUGH STRENGTH! DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES WITH STRENGTH! EVERY PART OF YOU MUST BE STRONG, SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW STRENGTH! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHA!" - Ordan, the Madman of Corrod.
- Through continuous effort, a Strength Rider can manage to strengthen their Voice with new abilities. Experience is the key to the power of a Strength Rider.

- Imaginary Rider
- "Also known as the Deviant Rider. There is little surprising that humans, in their foolishness would try and tame the force of the Deviants. Foolish. Foolish. Foolish. FOOLISH! An Imaginary Rider must be willing to look deeper into themselves than they wish, and then grab the darkest mud at the abyss of their soul, rip it out, and turn everything they know about themselves inside out. Only then can one truly commune with a Deviant. But a Deviant Rider is nothing but a Deviant himself... a wretched being, worthy only of death." - Lycis Menel, Archive-keeper of the Grand Ladder.
- An Imaginary Rider opts to Ride a Deviant. They have no names, hence a different Deviant can be Ridden each time. However, this is also very dangerous, as a Deviant corrupts it's Rider.
- Great Rider
- "Wishes converge into a crystallized shape.
- The path to the Gate of Worlds unfolds,
- The Twilight of the Voices comes and goes,
- A cycle repeats itself. Seek nothing.
- The cycle will loop forever, but...
- It will also broaden forever.
- The circle of infinite radius...
- A straight path."
- Voice.
- The end and the beginning resemble each-other the most.
