  1. X# --- One of the Mega Man X games.
  2.
  3. Xt# --- One of the Mega Man Xtreme games.
  4. Note: Most stuff from Xtreme 1 is being excluded because the game takes place in cyberspace and not the real world.
  5.
  6. Z# --- One of the Mega Man Zero games.
  7.
  8. MHX --- Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, a remake of the first game.
  9.
  10. Σ --- The Day of Sigma, a prequel OVA that comes with Mega Man Maverick Hunter X.
  11.
  12. [I] --- Mega Man X3 features an animated intro that doesn't seem to line up with the events of the games, so I'm tagging feats from it with this.
  13.
  14. [V] --- Maverick Hunter X features a "What-If?" type mode where you play as Vile. I'm tagging feats from it with this.

  16. This thread only covers the Mega Man X game series. Stuff like the manga and comic book adaptations, Carddass series, and crossovers like Project X Zone and Marvel vs. Capcom are being excluded. Mega Man X: Command Mission is being excluded as well, since it's non-canon according to the Compendium of Rockman X guidebook. Maverick Hunter X is being included since it's a remake of the first game, and while it introduces new elements, they're generally not too different from what we see later on and are probably just retcons.

  18. While people argue about The Day of Sigma OVA's canonicity due to some inconsistencies, since it came with Maverick Hunter X I'm including it anyways. Personally, I think the story changes made were retcons - Maverick Hunter X was supposed to kick off a big series reboot, but it never came to be.
  19.
  20. I'm also excluding Mega Man ZX stuff, since the "Model X" in that series technically isn't Mega Man X, just some other person transforming into a form similar to him. It deserves a thread of it's own. The Copy X from the Zero series is similarly being excluded for the same reason: it's a separate character that deserves its own thread.
