A gunner runs to the side and peppers the dock with iron to try and delay the conscripts long enough for the ship to make it's escape.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 9:16 PM
The half-oni dashes across the worn planks of the docks, heading towards the boarding ramp for the boat. He hears and then feels the shot of a blunderbuss, the many pieces hitting his shield with a resounding CLANG.
Aelar Liadon — Today at 9:22 PM
Aelar moves up with his bow and takes aim at the gunner and opens fire hitting them.
Sol — Today at 9:22 PM
The charging mercenary draws more gunfire as the corsairs try and slow his approach.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 9:25 PM
Fuel to the flame for his rage.
Sol — Today at 9:26 PM
A corsair wielding a boarding pike appears from below decks and rushes the martial artist, his quick thrust finding nothing but air however as the avian ducks out of reach.
More corsairs fill the top deck and prepare for the inevitable assualt.
Fogerty Creedence — Today at 9:32 PM
Fogerty takes a defensive stance and activates his astral arms.
Sol — Today at 9:33 PM
Two of the corsairs begin to detach the boarding ramp from the side of the vessel.
Kovgan Mox — Today at 9:51 PM
Kovgan runs closer to the boat, throwing a knife with one hand and a bolt of energy with the other, both striking the side of the ship.
[+T+] Tywin Lannister — Today at 9:53 PM
Tharivol repositions, loading his arquebus. Finding a good vantage point with a view of the ship's fo'c'sle, he fires off a round that rips through a corsair's throat.

Gundz moves up to the catch up to Kiryuu
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 10:03 PM
Kiryuu mounts the ramp, halfway up it as he assumes a defensive stance. He holds his shield high as he crouches and bangs the flat of his dao against it, "come on! COME ON!"
Aelar Liadon — Today at 10:07 PM
Aelar moves up and begins speaking his spell as he fires off a arrow that misses the gunner.
Sol — Today at 10:08 PM
Ducking back from the arrow the gunner quickly reloads and returns fire with scattershot, peppering the elven ranger with lead.
Several corsairs advance on the martial artist, attempting to surround him and cut him off from his allies.
Another rushes down the ramp, paying no heed to his crewmates and attempts to lock blades with the mercenary.

Fogerty attacks the man in front of him.
Kovgan Mox — Today at 10:26 PM
Continuing to run towards the boarding ramp Kovgan draws another dagger throwing it at the gunner, who wounded Aelar. Getting closer he sees the opportunity to cause some real damage. Channeling black magic a wave of thunderous noise emanates from the ship severely wounding some of the pirates and finishing off the gunner.

A corsairs whips a throwing axe at the half-oni only to have the axe deflect off of the skirmish shield with a metallic clang.

Taking a reload, Tharivol also affixes his bayonet.
Sol — Today at 10:45 PM
A corsair rushes to the railing and unlimbers a crossbow, taking aim at the small draconid and placing a bolt in the red mages chest.
Naz moves to the railing alongside the corsair and with a telltale click-boom he fires his handcannon and drops the kobold to the dock landing in a bloody heap.
Kovgan Mox — Today at 10:49 PM
Kovgan, growing used to this, crumples to the floor.
Sol — Today at 10:50 PM
Seeing the effectiveness of ranged weaponry a corsair drops his cutlass and unlimbers a light crossbow, firing off a bolt at the blue-skinned mercenary.
Heat Stones — Today at 10:57 PM
Gundz rans to heal Mox and spreads out to avoid getting shot by another blunderbuss.
Sol — Today at 11:01 PM
One of the corsairs drops his maul to the deck and scoops up his fallen crewmates blunderbuss, quickly fumbling to reload it.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 11:02 PM
With a shout, "Osu!" Kiryuu slams into the axeman on the ramp, bodily slamming him over the boarding ramp and into the drink to his left. He slams the flat of his blade against his shield and then advances forward.
Aelar Liadon — Today at 11:04 PM
Aelar moves backs up the dock as he summons Ervinth to help Fogerty in his fight.
Sol — Today at 11:05 PM
Flanking the summoned drake a corsair slams his maul into it's scaly hide.
Floundering briefly in the icy water of the bay the corsair quickly clings to rigging along the side of the ship and begins to make his ascent, eager to get revenge on the flaming fist soldier.
Fogerty Creedence — Today at 11:30 PM
Fogerty goes in to kill the strongarm and moves up to the pikeman.
Kovgan Mox — Today at 11:32 PM
Kovgan once again tac nukes the boat, and then nervously scurries away glancing at the firearms he sees being loaded.
Sol — Today at 11:37 PM
A corsair brandishes his bar mace at the half-oni and delivers a solid blow to the mercenaries weapon and attempts to wrench it from his grasp.
As the avian martial artist closes with the wounded pikeman a corsair moves behind him and attempts to cave in his fragile skull with his blunt piece of metal.

Lining up the arquebus at a pirate by the anchor well, yet another round is fired off by the noble. This time, however, the target remains standing.
Sol — Today at 11:55 PM
Naz pulls another handcannon from his brace a fires a volley of lead at the orc spiritualist. The first impacts the wooden shield with some splintering but the other lodges itself deep into the healers thigh.
Another crossbow bolt imbeds itself on the wooden planks near the kobold, the corsairs determined to put him back on the ground.
A pikeman reaches past the strongarm and attempts to skewer the oni.

The corsair rushes up the stairs and blasts his repurposed blunderbuss at the half-elf noble.

Tharivol mouths a curse under his breath.

Gundz summons a healing spirit near the entrance of the ram. She runs up the ram.
Aelar Liadon — Today at 12:20 AM
Aelar seeing the corsair rush up he fires an arrow at them killing them as he commands Ervinth  to attack the Pikeman as its bite goes deep killing them.
Sol — Today at 12:20 AM
Angry at seeing the overgrown lizard riping apart his crewmate the corsair smashes the maul down on the beast, caving in it's head, causing it to fall to the deck dead. It vanishes shortly thereafter.
Climbing over the railing, still soaked from his unwanted dip in the bay, the corsair brandishes his axe and move to block off the mercenaries advance onto the ship.
With a brutal slash the axeman claims vengeance for being thrown overboard.

Fogerty kills 2 corsairs and flies to another crewman.

Once more the strongarm catches the mercenaries blade and attempts to send it into the icy bay.
Kovgan Mox — Today at 12:33 AM
Kovgan fires an frozen blade at the group on the dock although the range is misjudged and it explodes before impact.

Slinging the arquebus over his back, Tharivol now lets loose a blast with a blunderbuss.
Sol — Today at 12:39 AM
Naz reloads and returns fire at the half-elf noble.
Dropping his crossbow the corsair draws his cutlass and lashes out at the avian conscript, in his fumbling the swing goes wide and slashes nothing but air.
Heat Stones — Today at 12:43 AM
Gundz tries to cast Hideous Laughter on Naz and fails. She walks through the spirit to heal herself.
Aelar Liadon — Today at 12:47 AM
Aelar moves up as he again summons up Ervinth right next to Nate, as it is summoned it goes for a bite but misses.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 12:47 AM
Seeing an opening on the Strongarm, Kiryuu lunges with his dao and slashes upwards as he gets under the corsair's guard. This results in a nasty slash down his enemy's hip and thigh.Sol — Today at 12:48 AM
The axeman delivers another slash to the half-oni.
Fogerty Creedence — Today at 12:54 AM
Fogerty kills another corsair and moves over to strongarm.
Sol — Today at 12:55 AM
Despite his persistence the strongarm isn't able to trap the barbarian's dao.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 12:56 AM
The half-Oni growls down at the strongarm in response as he slaps the mace away.

Firing a hand cannon at the man passing for authority on the ship, Tharivol shouts out. "Your situation is hopeless! Surrender now or be butchered as your captain and crew have!"
Sol — Today at 1:05 AM
"I'll not have my life's work be ripped from me by a pack of dogs on the leash of the Flaming Fists! You can tell your master Zodge that he can jump into Avernus before that happens!" The acting captain turns and presses his handcannon into the drakes abdomen and blows it apart with a shower of gore.

Kiryuu slams his shield into the corsair, pushing the mace away as he brings down another stroke, and somehow still doesn't kill the strongarm.
Aelar Liadon — Today at 1:11 AM
Feed up with Naz shooting and causing Ervinth to be taken out again, Aelar takes aim and lets loose a arrow at the Strongarm killing him while using his earlier spell to mark Naz.
Sol — Today at 1:12 AM
The axeman scoops up the barmace and tries to follow in the strongarms legacy and disarm the towering mercenary.
Kovgan Mox — Today at 1:16 AM
Seeing the gap form, Kovgan slides between the legs of Naz swiping him with the silver knife on his way under, he wasn't quite ready for the effect it was going to have on him.
Sol — Today at 1:20 AM
The acting captain screams in agony as his body has an immediate and violent reaction the poison coating the blade. The purple wurm poison can been seen through the pirate's skin as the veins bulge and burst, painting the mans skin with great dark splotches. His body contorts and he falls to the deck writhing, his screams now wordless, his mouth agape. The man involuntarily loses control of his bowels and his muscles continue to contract for several minutes after life has left his body.

Aelar moves up passing by Tharivol to get into Heat Stones healing sprit to get some health back.

The remaining corsair flinches at the shouts and threats, dropping his axe the man ducks low and avoids any potential reprisals before jumping back into the bay and attempting to swim away.

"DEFACING...IT IS."
Fogerty Creedence — Today at 1:38 AM
Fogerty uses his whip dagger to drag the axeman back to the dock.
"One corsair right on up."

The Half-Oni slams his dao into the deck of the ship in frustration, even as he watches the monk fish the corsair out of the water.

Shouting up "All clear."
Kovgan goes to retrieve his daggers.

Fogerty ties up the corsair in short order.

Before coming out of his rage he beheads the corpse of the strongarm who was giving him trouble earlier, before then kicking the head over the other side of the boat, followed soon after by the headless body.

Aelar boards the ship and begins looking around.

With that, Tharivol heads to the stern of the ship, in search of the captain's logs.

Fogerty moves the corsair on board and 'politely' asks where the good stuff is.
"Kiryuu I would like to use your skills to prevent the prisoner from escaping."
"And search the ship."
Aelar Liadon — Today at 1:45 AM
Aelar is able to recover one of his arrows he fired.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 1:45 AM
The monk turns, his eyes a sea of calm now, his front covered in the blood of the corsairs. He sheathes his weapon and joins the avian. "What do you need?"
Kovgan Mox — Today at 1:46 AM
Kovgan decides to nosey around while the rest handle the prisoner.
Fogerty Creedence — Today at 1:46 AM
"Interrogation and information."
"And processing."
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 1:50 AM
Kiryuu laughs darkly at the monk. "Processing? This is the Flaming...Fists not some..." he pauses as he searches for the right words. "Town guard in the...hinterlands."
Sol — Today at 1:51 AM
The captured corsair explains that he doesn't know of any hidden compartments and that any information would be in the main cabin, Dead-Eye's and most recently Naz's cabin.

Taking the former first mate's key, Tharivol continues searching the cabin.
"Do with the wretch as you please," he says in passing.
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 1:52 AM
After they finish getting what information they can out of the corsair, Kiryuu says with some finality. "And now, I made...a promise. And...I am an Oni of my....word."
Fogerty Creedence — Today at 1:52 AM
"All yours Kiryuu."
Kiryuu Yamashiro — Today at 1:55 AM
Kiryuu grasps the pirate by either side of his head. His iron-grip making the man scream and beg for mercy as he squeezes. Once he starts to hear a crack, he slowly digs his thumbs into the man's eyes, pushing, squeezing. With several more cracks and another scream, there is a final crunch and squelch as the half-Oni crushes the man's head like an egg. He drops the corpse to the deck, hands covered in bone, brain matter, and blood.
"Should have...surrendered."
Fogerty Creedence — Today at 1:57 AM
Fogerty grabs a shirt from a dead corsair and offers it to Kiryuu.
"To wipe off your hands."

He looks down at his hands and then takes the shirt. "My thanks." He wipes them off and tosses it onto the corpse.

"And a less surprising accounting of the ill-gotten goods that fill the vessel's hold," he says sliding forward the other.
