  1. <15:40:52> "no one is forced into Raven": wow, you know... logi may not be the best example of leadership in eXe, but we are our own little cluster inside. We don't usually bleed into other groups and we usually keep to ourselves. He can treat his own members any damn way he wants, we all deal with it, we don't mind it. Just because we are childish and troll alot doesn't mean that we really affect what happens in eXe. We are one of the most active groups, and if new people come into eXe, they can see what type of group we are, or they can look for a more friendlier one.
  2.
  3. Raven is a close knit family and there's a good chance that we will stick together. Perma-banning logi isn't going to solve much but will instead remove one of the most active components of eXe. If that's what you really want, we'll rise up and just leave you. You started this fight, if you would have left it alone, I'm sure things would have been just fine.
  4. <15:42:44> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": There is no fight. Logi was banned for abuse. If he can't own up to it, his problem. He knows this because he has been told over and over.
  5. <15:43:47> "no one is forced into Raven": An attack on any of us is an attack on all of us. You picked a fight with him. I guarantee if you wouldn't have said anything to him, he wouldn't have started an insult fight. The fact that you felt it was your duty to interfere in our affairs brought this on yourself. It was none of your business to begin with.
  6. <15:47:01> "no one is forced into Raven": A person of power (such as yourself) should also have the power to discern these principles of "What is good for the clan?" with the total facist ideals of "What are the rules?". Following rules 100% blindly only institutes harsh punishment and a community of fearing participants. You want this clan to be full of 200 fun people rather than 2000 dicks. Well you have to start off by releasing some of the tension on the leash. Otherwise the dog will never have any fun or freedom.
  7. <15:51:25> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": Yes, I did what I did for the clan. On the EU side we have had people behaving badly before, and it was really bad for the clan. The same thing happened here, so I took care of the problem. The rules are not the problem, his behaviour is.
  8. <15:54:19> "Totalitarian Dictatorship": His behaviour is contained, and will probably never spread. You are acting like he wasn't under any sort of control. What you did was bring the subject up and of course he's not going to go down lightly. He's going to fight back for his freedom. His behaviour is rude but that's just who he is. If you don't piss him off he won't fight you. And the chances of anyone pissing him off in the clan is pretty much 1/100. You hit the hammer right on the pin though, excersizing your own power to bring him below you. He wasn't doing anything to you before you mentioned his attitude, so why start now?
  9. <15:57:39> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": I'm not exercising my power. I am enforcing rules, which I am supposed to. And no, I don't mean the TS naming thing. If you people want to be childish, go ahead. But the rules have not been loosened for anyone. Any complaints, go to a DL.
  10. <16:00:16> "Totalitarian Dictatorship": So then what you are saying is, you Perma-Banned Logi for being disrespectful to you?
  11. <16:03:12> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": No. I permabanned him for being an element that is bad for this clan in general.
  12. <16:03:39> "Totalitarian Dictatorship": Please enlighten me with your evidence.
  13. <16:04:00> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": Define evidence.
  14. <16:04:02> "Totalitarian Dictatorship": What sort of behaviour, that is contained, could really be a bad influence to this clan?
  15. <16:04:39> "Totalitarian Dictatorship": As far as I'm concerned, you are the only one who cannot stand his behaviour, and that's because you started a fight with him.
  16. <16:08:07> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": I never started a fight with him. And no, I'm not the only one. There are people higher than me as well.
  17. <16:09:25> "Totalitarian Dictatorship": Then it is their choice to carry out any particular action towards him. Also, understanding that you are the DO of the EU section of SC2, you should have no authority over Logi unless an incident directly involved in the EU section regarding him occurs.
  18. <16:10:54> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": You understand the person I talk about would ban him from the clan outright? I gave him a chance, a big one. And DOs are equal.
  19. <16:11:43> "Totalitarian Dictatorship": No matter how generous that is of you, I feel like your punishment was harsher than any should be from someone in your position. A perma-ban should be carried out only by your superiors as it is still none of your business, and not under your division in the slightest.
  20. <16:14:16> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": DOs are equal. We are allowed to carry out punishment against disturbances regardless of EU or NA. In fact, I think we are allowed to deal with minor things in other game divisions as well. But point is, if he does not understand a warning, that is his problem.
  21. <16:15:42> "eXe Hope SC": I think that undermines the idea of a Division Officer. A Team Staff/Assistant have authority over their group and only theirs. A division officer is meant to have authority over their division. It says it in the name.
  22. <16:18:43> "eXe Ratzsa SC DO T/L": Yeah. The Starcraft division.
  23. <16:19:12> "eXe Hope SC": You are specifically a DO of the EU Starcraft Division, incase you didn't know, our SC2 division is divided into 2 Regions.
  24. <16:19:43> "eXe Hope SC": There is a reason there are 2 Huge channels in the teamspeak designated for the EU, and the Americas Regions.
