[13:10] Don hugs his mother while still looking off into the distance. "No, I've just been thinking a lot about this place, and the future for it. I notice a lot of my siblings aren't really too keen on following after you, and it makes me wonder." He paused. "I feel like I'll have to pick up the slack if I wanna see this place continue to thrive and I get to live your life the way you want. Though I feel like it's our responsibility to be great."

He looked at his mother.

"Maybe I'm just overthinking it a lot, but even so I wanted to learn maybe some occult magic and advance myself in a way that probably hasn't been seen before in our family.

I didn't want to do anything crazy without your permission of course, and I wanted to create a mask of sorts so my actions won't reflect poorly on our family."

[13:17] Don's words surprised her if anything, hearing that her youngest wanted to pick up the slack of his older siblings and look to a future where he aided Novus. It almost brought tears to her face as her tug tightened listening to how he wanted to see the place thrive.

"Well, if being a part of Novus is what you want I'd be happy to teach you everything it takes to run with place and the importance of politics and alliances." She told him, pulling back to affectionately pat his head.

"As for learning occult, we can get your godfather to teach you, and if not him we have plenty of friends who use the magic. I'm sure we can find you a tutor if that's what you want to learn." She assured him. She had become much more relaxed with occultists over the years considering she sued to hate them with a burning passion. Perhaps all her time in the Dreadwoods helped.

"A mask? I encourage it if anything. I tried telling your siblings the other day but they were more occupied with the awkwardness of recent events." She sighed. Did she regret breaking Emery's legs to make him listen? No. Was she worried it only caused further resentment? Yes.

"A mask keeps your loved ones safe and allows your true identity to be safe. You can live a normal life, a more 'moral' life as Donovan, but have that masked side for your more questionable actions. That is why your father and I both have masks."

Speaking of the devil, Eris smiled as Rozen joined them, her hand reaching to hold his as they all gazed off at the water.

"And if you need any help with it, don't hesitate to reach out and ask. I'll help, okay?"

[13:23] Don listens closely to what his mother explained to him, and he nods. It felt reassuring to hear these words from her and only encouraged him to follow his path.

"Ah, father, what is your take on me learning the occult? It would be rude of me not to ask my own father about my choice. I'm sure you've heard a little of what I said, and how mother responded. I'd appreciate your input on the choices I want to make."

Don looks towards the docks.

"From what I've been told I'll do great, but it's a lot to take on and the future will change every day. I've also been speaking with this woman at a tavern.

She's a very kind woman, and has a scythe she mentioned about giving me or well me showing that I could earn it. She said it belong to those who lead, but I wonder if showing leadership qualities would count as well?

I've been pushing myself everyday, and working towards becoming abetter version of myself. It's not easy, but it's well worth it I can assure you that much."

[13:32] "Occult can be tricky depending on how you approach it son as there is a clear chance for occult to effect your mind to some extent unless you decide to overcome it just like your godfather Ewald." Perhaps Ewald still didn't fully null the effects of the occultic energies but in the end he is still pretty much doing great job at it.

"--but overall of course I have no problem with you learn Occult expect , you need to make sure to keep it hidden from Osronans as they mostly have a mind set of 'Occult is bad' and directly will stamp you for it, probably also trying to cleanse it from your body.

So you need to make sure to make your moves very carefully each time you use occult in future." A quick reminder as Osronans getting rather more brutal each passing day perhaps even more than Dreadwoods to some extent.

"Though, Im pretty sure you already think every piece of it so.. I say go for it , learn it , master it and use it to change the future of everyone else while progressing yourself to better version of yourself in life." He lean his arm towards Donovan for a second give him a small headpat.

It's accutaly feel great to see one of his son mostly thinking rational about whole stuff around him while of course also thinking the future of Novus and as a father , all he wants to do is supporting his son choices or plans for the future itself.

[13:38] Don seemed to have the okay from both of his parents, and now he could move forward with learning the magic known as occult. It would make things a lot easier for him moving forward and knowing that he has support from all over it only makes sense to push forward.

"Well, I'd like to learn as quickly as possible and get me a mask or something created as quickly as possible. I think it will be great to do both these things at the same time.

I hope learning of the occult won't take long seeing as I'd like to use the magic as quickly as possible, so give or take a day or two? If we're going into the dreadwoods I assume it will be easier for me."

Don nods.

"Well, I'm happy with knowing you both approve of my choices now it's time to put them into action. What do you say?"

[13:44] "If your godfather doesn't pop up, we can take you to our friends and find you a tutor. How does that sound?" She offered him. "We'll get you to learn as fast as possible. And with how bright you are? I'm sure you'll get it in no time." She reassured.

"Yes, the Dreadwoods is the alternate option if your godfather isn't around." She confirmed.

"I'm excited to see how far you go, Don. Now then... We can't quite begin the lessons. The Dreadwoods will be very busy soon, a grand battle is occurring, but we could get you started on other projects if you'd like?"

"I think that's good we can work on another one until my godfather comes around. I don't mind that one at all, but I've already worked on the mask I wonder what more we could do to it?

[14:22] "Your mother use some sort of mask while , Im using a helmet that designed by your godfather that allow me to alter my voice to some extent."Roz takes out his helmet from his backpack to Show his son, a dark blue helmet with a runic system inside of it in order to allow for a voice alteration or just to muffle his voice completely in order to move around without any issues what so ever.

"So perhaps your can team-up with your mother and add some sort of voice alteration system into it to allow yourself move around much freely."

After that he turn his head to Val and give her a smile.

"Not costumes, disguises. The ability to live two separate lives. You ought to get one as well Val, especially if you intend on continuing friendliness with the forest."
