  4. [7:52 PM] <Ironhill> Kaelzilla just pm'd me and I lost his message in the 132 pms I have in my tab
  5. [7:52 PM] <Ironhill> Just a sec >_<
  6. [7:52 PM] <Kaelzilla> Hi there
  7. [7:53 PM] <Ironhill> The interview consists of several questions which I would like you to answer as truthfully and completely as possible.
  8. [7:54 PM] <Ironhill> Remember that almost all of your records on the server can and have been examined so this is an opportunity to prove your virtue.
  9. [7:54 PM] <Ironhill> Another GM, Hitman who will have a significant influence upon your work should you be chosen, will be sitting in on this interview.
  10. [7:55 PM] <Kaelzilla> I will answer as truthfully and completely as possible
  11. [7:56 PM] <Ironhill> What are you most interested in working on as a developer?
  12. [7:56 PM] <Kaelzilla> My interests in working as a dev consists more of fixing quests, spells (even tho im not to experienced in this), creatures and so on.
  13. [7:57 PM] <Ironhill> Do you have any specific itinerary items that you could suggest at this time?
  14. [7:58 PM] <Kaelzilla> I didnt quite understand the question, what do you mean by itinerary items?
  15. [7:58 PM] <Ironhill> Do you have any specific things that you have in mind.
  16. [7:59 PM] <Kaelzilla> Well yes, I'd probably fix some important quest chains, such as Sons of hodir,  as best and blizzlike as possible
  17. [8:00 PM] <Ironhill> I see.
  18. [8:00 PM] <Kaelzilla> Thro other quests that I could find in the world that needed fixing aswell
  19. [8:00 PM] <Ironhill> Do you have any experience working with trinitycore?
  20. [8:02 PM] <Kaelzilla> Yes, I'd like to point that I've worked as a dev on another server doing these kind of this i've said I'd like to do, and It was on a trinitycore server, but thro means of Truice
  21. [8:02 PM] <Kaelzilla> (On most cases)
  22. [8:03 PM] <Kaelzilla> Other ways, thro sqlyog
  23. [8:03 PM] <Ironhill> So you have the ability to host your own test server for isolated experimentation.
  24. [8:05 PM] <Kaelzilla> I could if I get the server by saying so. Back when I've had a server on my computer, few years ago, it was so much simple than it is now. But If i get a help with that i wouldnt mind doing that
  25. [8:05 PM] <Ironhill> I see.
  26. [8:07 PM] <Ironhill> Communication is an important tool. How often are you going to be available on IRC?
  27. [8:08 PM] <Kaelzilla> I could be here at least from 5pm, usualy until late hours
  28. [8:08 PM] <Kaelzilla> And that can be changed if necessary
  29. [8:09 PM] <Ironhill> Do you know how to operate SQL without using tools such as Truice?
  30. [8:11 PM] <Kaelzilla> Not that well, when I have to, I usually make a notepad .sql file, write the code and then dump it into sql, thro it takes much more time than with truice, for example. Truice is used by me for npc fixed, such as phasings and other minor stuff, as quests mostly.
  31. [8:12 PM] <Kaelzilla> Like i've said in my app, im well familiar with truice and event horizon. Quite a bunch with sql but not that much.
  32. [8:13 PM] <Kaelzilla> Its a thing that I'd like to learn and with time, ill do so. I wont tell you I know it all when I already told I did not.
  33. [8:13 PM] <Ironhill> You should be aware that all development on the server is done manually without the usage of tools.
  34. [8:14 PM] <Ironhill> That's all the questions I have for you. I'll forward the contents of this channel to our head developer who will contact you further.
  35. [8:14 PM] <Kaelzilla> Kinda sad to hear that, but like I said, and if you allow it, i could just do sql dump of the development i'd do.
  36. [8:15 PM] <Kaelzilla> Alright then, thanks for the oportunity
