  1. Felix walked down the streets of the refugee district, passing alley ways full of some of the millions of relocated families who were huddled around a trash can they had set ablaze to keep warm. Felix himself wasn't technically a refugee, he was actually a fugitive; a runaway. He had a thick black leather jacket on, with his black skinny jeans with thermal underwear underneath. It was the middle of December, and it was snowing on and off though the snow never stuck. He walked with his head down, the street lights casting their silent shadow, helping Felix to avoid all of the frozen puddles in his path, looking for somewhere desolate to sleep for the night. Trust was non-existent in this part of Tokyo, if this was even still Tokyo. A pair of gloved hands with the fingertips cut off grabbed Felix by the collar of his jacket, slamming him into the brick wall of an electric substation. Nothing was said, a knife to Felix's throat, and the hum of surging power. Felix opened his blood red eyes, and stared at the scared, shaking man who had him held up. A scared demand for his money was all the mugger squeaked out, before Felix grabbed both of his forearms, pulling the knife closer to his throat. "Do it, I bet you won't." Felix said in his baritone voice, before he slid his hands up to grip the knife while he lifted his right leg up, kicking the mugger away and at the same time, disarming him. The scared mugger looked at Felix with pleading eyes, and then choked out "P-please... I have kids...." Felix never had any intentions of killing this poor foolish man; rather he dropped the knife on the ground and kept going on his search. There was broken glass all over the streets, from the drunken refugees who either tossed their bottles at walls, or just dropped them when they passed out drunk.
  2.
  3. Felix was now by a warehouse, and stopped dead in his tracks when he heard the sputter of a submachine gun. He took cover around the corner of the warehouse and looked at the shadows on the ground of people headed his way. He looked to his left; a long stretch of nothing. He looked up to see a ladder that slid down. Weighing out his options, he jumped silently up like a cat and bolted up the stairs quietly. He got to the roof, and looked up to see a gun in his face. A moment passed before the man holding the gun in his face said something cocky, pressing the gun up to Felix's temple. All Felix could do was smile, grabbing the gun from his temple, moving it to his mouth. This caught the thug off guard, while Felix had just enough time to kick the man in the balls, loosening his grip on the gun which Felix had now turned around on him. This time though, Felix wasn't so merciful. Three bullets in the man's skull, and the place was instantly alert to an intruder's presence. Felix took the man's shades, and threw his body through the glass skylight of the warehouse.
  4.
  5. Felix jumped down through the skylight, landing hard on top of the dead body he had initially sent through the glass. There were three men in front of him who already had their guns pointed on him. The man in the middle pulled the trigger of his gun, and just as soon Felix had moved forwards, the bullet moving in slow motion to Felix, as he looked at it and the visible disruption to the sound barrier it made, before Felix jabbed his entire fist through the man's neck, his esophagus twitching in his hand while he shot the man to his left, and used the now dead man's body as a shield before turning the gun on the last remaining man. Felix dropped the dead man's body to the floor, as more thugs were running down the stairs. Felix took cover behind a car that had its trunk open, filled with ammunition, plastic explosives and grenades. Felix figured he had stumbled upon an arms deal, and decided he had no choice but to crash it, or be killed. Felix reached into the trunk, and pulled out a case of grenades. It was sort of heavy, but that only meant better distance. He pulled the pin, and rolled it under the car to the other side where the thugs had him surrounded. Felix dived away from the car, as a precaution incase the explosion from the grenade blew everything else up. Luck was on his side today, as the grenade only blasted the side of the car, the doors lay in pieces on the floor, in a pool of blood.
  6.
  7. Felix stood up, brushing his shirt and jeans off; He grabbed a belt of grenades out of the trunk, along with two more submachine guns. He made sure they were fully loaded, and grabbed a few extra rounds of ammunition just in case. He closed the trunk, denting the hell out of it so that nobody could open it and reload themselves. Felix headed up the staircase of the warehouse, where the thugs had come running single file down. It was obvious that whoever these people were, were a crime syndicate. He had to be careful. He peeked his head around a corner that lead down a long, dark hallway with an open door that had light spilling out of it at the end. He stepped out into the open, half expecting to get shot at, but instead he was hit with silence. This was odd to Felix, and somewhat unsettling. He pushed his anxiety out of the way, replacing it with calm and collectedness since nothing ever gets accomplished when you're not thinking with a clear head. Felix walked down the hall, until he stepped into a room where there was a desk, and an office chair that was turned around. The door slammed behind him, and the office chair swiveled around, revealing a man who looked to be in his 40's. Felix didn't have to turn around to know there was a big burly buff body guard behind him. The man in the chair looked pissed, and he gritted his teeth before he slammed his fist on the desk, knocking over the scotch he had in a glass next to him- “Do you know how much fucking trouble you’ve cause me? You’re a fucking teenager, and you’ve completely fucked up my entire operation.” He tossed the glass at Felix’s head, though he dodged it easily. “You think you’re so tough, don’t you?” He pulled out a pistol from under his desk with full intention of Killing the teen right then and there, before a black figure crashed through the window, crushing in the man in the chair’s skull while sharpshooting the body guard who was behind Felix.
  8.
  9. Felix just sort of stood there, the events that had taken place tonight were a little out of the ordinary, lightly speaking of course. The black figure was now more distinct, revealing it was a girl of dark complexion. She wore spiked bracelets, a neck choker; and she wore her eyeliner in a way that reminded him of Cleopatra, though that was just a silly thought. He didn’t question how she managed to crash through the window; rather he just kicked the dead body guard, and said “Thanks, I don’t know how this would have gone for me if you hadn’t shown up…” The girl eyed him cautiously, the possibility of him being a threat still lingered. The girl spoke up- “My name is Luna, I’ve been following this crime trail for weeks now and never thought I’d see such brutal carnage by a lone teen such as you… Tell me, who exactly are you…?” Felix was now bored of kicking at the dead body of the guard who stood behind him. He looked slowly up at the girl, with a rather bored expression on his face, piercing her very soul with his blood red eyes- “My name’s Felix, and I never really planned any of this. I was just walking by, looking for somewhere to sleep tonight. I decided that I had enough of the insane asylum I was locked in for being half demon. These fools however, would have shot me while I was walking down the street just because they would have claimed me as a witness, so you know. I crashed the party. Now the question is, who are you, and what made you crash through the window like that? I’m glad you did don’t get me wrong, but I’m just curious. You say you’ve been following these guys for weeks?” He eyed the girl, a dark caramel colored complexion, with electric neon blue mid back length hair, with eyes to match. She replied to him, a little bit of seriousness left in her voice; as she calmed down seeing as Felix had wiped everybody out save for the ones she killed. “I told you, I’ve been tracking down these crime lords for weeks, but now I’m at a dead end because of your recklessness.” Felix shot back in retaliation- “Hey, had I known Batman was going to show up, I would have let you take care of it but it is what it is. Besides, as I walked into this room, I saw him put a log book into his drawer. It looked like it had a lot of information about the people he was dealing these weapons to, and I’m almost 100% sure that the Yakuza is on that list. I’m already on their shit list- “Felix said as he pointed to a surveillance camera with the Yakuza’s logo on it. “I’m pretty sure both of us are now, so if you don’t want to get shot to shit, I suggest we leave, you can explain more on our way. I don’t have any safe houses because of my prior situation, but if you have a place, I really could use a shower.” Luna smiled; the boy had been of some use after all. She walked over and pickpocketed the dead man, and grabbed his desk drawer key. She opened it and pulled out a rather thick book full of names and locations. Felix had walked up next to the desk where Luna was standing. He plucked the book from her hands, being a foot and two inches taller than she was; he held it over her head teasingly. “So does this mean that I get that shower after all?” Luna just stared at him with angry eyes. He had taken advantage of her height, and was not pleased about it. “Ugh… fine. Let’s get out of here before we’re both shot to death.”
  10.
  11. Luna and Felix left in a rush, headed back down to the ground floor of the warehouse in order to make sure that there were no survivors hiding somewhere in case they were to be followed. When they were outside, the snow had turned to ice cold rain, and Felix picked Luna up into his arms. Felix was a gentleman by nature, and had draped his leather jacket over Luna so she wouldn’t get wet and catch a cold. “Get ready.” Felix said, as he leaped higher than the warehouse’s roof into the air, landing down on top of an old boarded up apartment building. “You’re going to have to tell me where you live you know.” Luna was pressed against his chest, and the low vibrating rumble of his voice tickled her ear. “I live in the city…” She pointed to the tallest building they could see, and they were gone.
  12.
  13. They reached the city, and Felix let Luna down to walk on her own, while she wore his jacket over her shoulders. It was late, nearly 3 in the morning. Only a few cars were on the street, and they walked into the building she lived in. They both silently walked past the sleeping security guard to the elevator, stepping in equally as silent. Luna stuck her elevator key in, and pressed the top button. Felix sarcastically said- “Of course a vigilante such as you has to have a secret lair.” Luna just gave Felix a smug look, before they were at the top of the building, elevator doors separating into a large living room with a huge window looking out at the city. “Wow, nice place you’ve got here.” Felix said as he walked out of the elevator. Luna set her keys on a little table next to the elevator entrance. There was a bar, a large black half circle couch, and an amazing kitchen. Luna stepped into the kitchen while Felix took in how neat and elegant her house was. He didn’t ask her how she afforded any of this; rather he just asked where her bathroom was. “Down the hall and around the corner.” Luna said. Felix added that he was going to take a shower. He walked into the bathroom, and stopped in shock, it was huge. There was a towel already next to the shower door. He stripped himself down to nothing, and stepped in. There were no nozzles, just a water proof touch screen system. He looked at all the settings, and pressed a random setting. Hot water began to rain over the top of Felix, as the lights in the bathroom dimmed to a very low glow, and the accented multicolored lights began to shine through the steam. Felix stood there in a haze of red, marveling at the unexpected luxury.
  14.
  15. Felix was in the shower for a long time, and Luna took the opportunity to use this time to enter the newly found information into her computer. The window overlooking the city had turned into a computer monitor, as a laser keyboard projected onto her coffee table. A light from the ceiling scanned the book they recovered, entering in all the data stored in the paper media. As Luna waited for the scanning process to finish, she thought to herself what kind of mess she had gotten herself into. There were so many risks in what she did, death being the most common one. She didn’t know if she rather be shot and live, or die. She shivered at the thought and stood, heading into her kitchen to pour herself a cup of coffee. She was going to be awake for a while, and thought that a good pick me up was in need.
  16.
  17. The bathroom was filled with several layers of steam so thick, you could cut it with a knife. The red haze had completely engulfed Felix in its blanket of water. He stood in the shower, his hands pressed against the tile above his head, while he leaned his head down as water slid down his butterscotch colored skin. Felix had been in the shower for 45 minutes, according to the shower system panel. Felix stood up straight again, and tapped the system shutdown option, and stepped out of the shower grabbing the towel hanging from the rack to his right. He wrapped the towel around his waist, grabbed his clothes and walked out of the bathroom as a cloud of steam rolled out behind him. He walked down the hall out into the living room, looking for Luna- “Hey Luna, do you have an extra pair of sweat pants I can wear while I wash these clothes?” Felix stood there, his athletically toned 16 year old body glistening as the light from the living room ceiling caught the beads of water at just the right angle. Luna looked up and nearly choked on her coffee when she saw a completely naked Felix, covered in nothing but a towel. Luna set her coffee cup down on a crystal coaster, and walked out of the kitchen; she headed down the hall and pulled out a drawer with various clothes in it. A pair of boxers, pajama bottoms, and some socks, was what she pulled out, and handed to Felix. “T-there’s a room down further past the bathroom to your right, you’ll be sleeping in there tonight. You can go ahead and change your clothes now…” Felix just thanked her, and walked past her into the room she had designated to him.
  18.
  19. He changed into the clothes she gave him; they were a pretty comfortable fit. He walked out of the room, flipping off the light as he left. He walked down the hall into the living room, and sat down across from Luna who was busy studying all the new information. Judging by the look on her face, she either found out something very important, or something very grave. She stood up, looked at the clock on the wall; 3:48 am. She looked at Felix; a look Felix knew was serious. He stood up, and she walked down the hall, way past his room to the very end, turning to face a wall where another panel like the one in the shower was stationed. She placed her hand on it, and the wall slid open while she disappeared through the secret entrance. Felix followed her in, and just as soon as he walked in, a black leather jumpsuit was tossed at him. It was thick, and he knew it was clearly meant for combat. He put it on over his sweats, but let the fabric lay bare against his chest since he wasn’t wearing a shirt. “So I take it we’re going somewhere and that shower was in vain.” Luna looked up and smiled, sarcastically saying “Of course it was, silly.” Felix was finally dressed, the jumpsuit black and plated, formed to his body perfectly; no movement restrictions or anything. He pulled on matching black combat boots, and a utility belt equipped with a desert eagle pistol on the back, three sticky grenades, three frag grenades, throwing knives, and a few rounds of ammo. They each picked up a sub machine gun, with plenty of rounds for their assault. “So it looks like we’re a team already then, am I right?” Felix said, as he finished equipping himself. “As of right now, yes. You’re doomed on your own, the Yakuza will find you one way or another so you might as well die taking out as many of them as you can.” Luna finished her preparations, and stepped back, placing her foot on a pressure sensitive tile, as the ceiling began to get farther away. It took Felix a moment to realize that they were going down. “Oh, so you’re full of surprises too?” Felix sarcastically said, as they came to a complete stop in a garage full of cars. Felix’s jaw went limp, as all the cars were cars people would spend a life time paying off, just for one. “I don’t ask a lot of questions because I generally don’t like the answers, but I have to ask where you got all of these gadgets and cars from? Who pays for all of this?!” Luna looked up with an odd look on her face, she had been used to all this, she never really thought much of this stuff; to her, these were just cars. “These were my fathers, though he passed on two years ago. Now they’re mine, along with all his estates, and wealth. I have expensive taste you know.” She said with a wink before opening the scissor door of a Lamborghini Aventador- “Hop in. We don’t have all day!” Felix needn’t be told twice, for he was in the passenger seat of the car so quick before they took off. It appeared that Luna was headed straight for a wall, before it slid open to the right just in time for them to slip past, and go up a ramp just to come out of the normal parking garage. The car was black, and the windows were tinted so thick. Felix tapped on his window, it wasn’t glass. It was something a lot harder, and probably bullet proof. They entered onto the freeway, really pushing the limits of the exotic car’s speed. The two of them weaved through traffic like nothing, soon to take an onramp that was almost never taken, and therefore not very well cared for. There were holes in the onramp, and the concrete itself was beginning to erode. Luna handled the car with ease around the obstacles. They were speeding at 200 mph, on a straight lane resting on the surface of the water for a mile. It was the shortest mile of Felix’s life, as they slowed down upon re-entry into the Refugee District.
  20.
  21. The computer console in the car was acting as a GPS, while they cruised through the littered streets of the Refugee District. They passed women holding their children close to them to keep warm when they were too ill to make it across the street where people were huddled around flaming trash cans. They pulled into an alley way, the purr of the Lamborghini’s engine was hypnotizing, though a red flag to their enemies. Luna parked the car along the side of the building. They both got out quietly, weapons in hand. A crowd of refugees began to form at the mouth of the alley, whispering things Felix couldn’t make out. He turned his gaze to the refugees, then his gun. He flicked his wrist that held the gun, in a motion signaling the refugees to get out of there. They of course, scattered in fear, while Felix went back to what he was doing, and that was following Luna to the middle of the alley way where there was a metal cover over what looked to be a sewer entrance. Luna lifted the sewer cover, and took one look at Felix before she disappeared into the darkness. Felix wasn’t thrilled about having to go into the sewers, especially in the Refugee district, but he didn’t have much of a choice. He took a deep breath, and jumped down the long black tunnel, landing on his feet right next to Luna. Felix’s face contorted in disgust, the smell was rancid. “Some great headquarters for a crime syndicate, you’d think they’d at least have some class.” Luna looked at him in amusement, a sly grin upon her lips. They walked silently through the dark tunnels, Luna leading the way with her flashlight. There were feint echoes of voices bouncing off the stone walls of the sewer, and Luna stopped. Felix almost walked into her before stopping himself. He listened in carefully, then darted past Luna quietly, two throwing knives in between his teeth. He quickly approached throwing assassination distance, throwing the knives dead center in the two thugs’ vocal box, rendering any sound aside from desperate blood drenched gargles for air, useless. Luna walked up next to Felix, looking at the two dead men lying on the floor. Felix retrieved his knives from their throats, using one of their shirts to wipe the blood off of the knives. “That could have been bad” Felix said in a sarcastic tone. They continued through the tunnel, walking out into a dome like clearing. They had walked in on a trap.
  22.
  23. There were thugs above on a cement balcony that circled the entire clearing Luna and Felix stood in the center of. Felix looked at Luna, a grin on his face, while she had an annoyed look on hers. As if their minds were linked, Felix and Luna immediately scattered in opposite direction, gaining momentum as they began their vertical ascent of the domed wall, getting to a certain point before they kicked off with extreme force, meeting each other again back in the center, entwining their arms as they began a brief spin in mid-air before letting go, sending them back in separate directions until they landed on the cement edge of the circular balcony. Felix didn’t leave any time for the man he landed in front of to react, as he pulled out one of his throwing knives and slit the man’s throat, splattering Felix’s face with fresh, hot blood. Luna had her gun out before she even landed; shooting the first man she landed in front of in the face, while the caliber of the bullet blew the man’s head up like a sledgehammer to a watermelon. Another man shot at Luna, but she jumped in the air, avoiding the bullet, sending a return bullet back at the man, piercing his heart. While Luna was still in the air, another man had shot at her, but her keen senses were already a step ahead, as she whipped her gun around to her other side, shooting the bullet head on before it reached her, while her free hand launched a throwing knife that hit her attacker directly in the eye, slicing through his optical nerve to his frontal lobe, instantly killing him. Felix was having fun with this, as he wiped out several men with his submachine gun. A bullet from an unknown direction, nearly missed Felix’s head, causing him to stop his slaughter for a second, to see who was still alive that could have done that. Everybody on the balcony was dead, lying in pools of blood. Felix looked to the ground, to see a man with a desert eagle pistol aimed at Luna. Felix watched in slow motion as the man pulled the trigger, but Felix just as soon launched a throwing knife at the calculated meet point between the bullet and the knife, knocking the bullet off course. Felix darted off the balcony, a throwing knife in his hand, speeding directly at the mystery man for the kill. Felix caught the man off guard, grabbing the man’s shoulders while lifting his legs to wrap them around the man’s neck, squeezing the breath out of the man who was now choking and struggling to get Felix off of him. Felix teasingly held the throwing knife above the man’s eye, pressing it lightly against the man’s bottom eye lid. “Now that wasn’t very nice… Tell me why I shouldn’t kill you. Oh, what was that? You can’t speak? Well doesn’t that suck?” Felix jabbed his wrist forward, sending the blade deep into the man’s skull, sadistically enjoying the man’s scream of agony before his body went limp.
