  1. [21:54] Yvette asks, "Oi, you one of them guides as well?"
  2. [21:54] Phantom asks, "Oi?"
  3. [21:54] Phantom asks, "...Guide?"
  4. [21:55] Phantom asks, "Do you approach every hooded figure with that mannerism?"
  5. [21:56] Yvette says, "Yea."
  6. [21:56] Yvette says, "Pretty much."
  7. [21:56] Phantom says, "Change your tune."
  8. [21:58] Yvette asks, "Mhm, not very friendly are you?"
  9. [21:58] Phantom asks, "When someone approaches and goes... Oi?"
  10. [21:58] Phantom asks, "Do you expect a friendly response?"
  11. [22:01] Raised a hand her hand opening, clearly words had been about to come out but she stopped. Blinking for a moment, before she'd stick a finger in her ear. Cleaning it out a bit exaggeratedly.
  12.
  13. "W-wow, what the hel was that?"
  14.
  15. Surprise was the main expression that settled on her face, a touch of fear perhaps, but bubbling below both was a clear note of curiosity.
  16. (Yvette)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [22:02] Phantom asks, "Who do you serve?"
  20. [22:03] Yvette says, "Serve's a strong word but I'm apprenticed to Eurya."
  21. [22:04] Phantom says, "Eurya? Hmm... I wouldn't know who that is."
  22. [22:06] Yvette says, "She's the loner type, like you but without the cloak and dagger style."
  23. [22:08] Pushing off from the tree, he slowly makes his way forward.
  24.
  25. The mask focused on Yvette, he leans in closer to her face. "Oi..." That sickening feeling of decay soon comes next, dancing softly across his form. "Are you..." Leaning in a little closer, those bright eyes of his peer through the holes of the mask.
  26.
  27. "One of them guides... As well?"
  28. (Phantom)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [22:16] The feeling of decay was what hit her first. It was a sensation she'd only felt in smaller touches when training with Eurya.
  32.
  33. Her impetuous expression didn't last long as he got closer. Not outright fear but certainly revulsion. Sienna hues looked up at those bright dots radiating from the mask almost transfixed.
  34.
  35. "N-no, I'm a terrible guide..." Sadly enough the answer was an honest one. Her right hand came up to rub the back of her neck.
  36.
  37. "Now, would it help if I said that was a common greeting where I'm from? Ahaha... Probably not." Eurya had said to keep to herself but in the end she wasn't the type to keep quite.
  38. (Yvette)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [22:24] Bringing a hand up beneath his mask, his mouth could be seen for a brief moment. But from the shadows, he pulls a snake out from his mask. It's body as black as ink, even its eyes seemed to be dark. Long, but nothing too special that could be noted yet.
  42.
  43. "A terrible guide..." Lowering his mask, he allows for that snake to slither along his arm. It's head-turning to gaze towards Yvette, watching her movements.
  44.
  45. "Can you believe that? I thought they had dressed the part too... Vile and disgusting, what else would they do?" Lifting the snake up to the mask, he shakes his head. "No, no... There's no reason for that... Not yet." It was as if he was responding to the snake itself. "Who knows what they'll do? But you know better than anyone, not to play with snakes."
  46.
  47. Which is when those bright hues shift again, focusing back on Yvette. An odd silence, while the snake adjusts itself around his neck. "That isn't going to help, and I advise you think before walking up to people with such mannerisms. Next time, I will start a whole revolution and make it my goal for all those lesser in the village to lose their teeth.
  48.
  49. Of course, you could get them back through medical means? But the pain will be the message, don't you think? Think before you speak." A low hiss, before that voice, reaches into the depths of their mind again.
  50. (Phantom)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [22:38] Yvette watched closely as the man reached up into his mask to... Pull out a inky snake? That seemed familiar didn't Eurya have a ink-snake as well?
  54.
  55. Why did so many in this village have ink monsters at there commands? It was a thought that'd have to wait as he started speaking. Then she blinked, did he just call her vile and disgusting?
  56.
  57. That shifted her attitude a lot, from trepid fear to annoyed. Which might have been the point since this was about how to talk to people. It was only made a little worse as he seemed to speak to the snake more than her.
  58.
  59. The threat resounded loudly enough, clearly enough for her to understand. It was certainly a more creative threat than she'd ever encountered so far. Probably more likely to be carried out as well.
  60.
  61. That's when the message burrowed into her mind again, it wasn't something she was used to. There was an otherworldly sense to it. Yet, it was infuriating in different ways.
  62.
  63. Though, she at-least waited for a few moments before she spoke next. Taking the advice to think at-least, taking the chance to look the man over closely. Sienna hues darting to the snake for a moment.
  64.
  65. "..."
  66.
  67. Of course she struggled for a second, thinking things through certainly wasn't a strong suite. "Fine, I get your point. When next I speak to you it will be in a different tone."
  68.
  69.
  70. (Yvette)
  71. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.
  73. [22:46] Even if she couldn't see it, he was smiling. Removing that shadowy snake from his neck, and twisting it in his hands. Not even a screech or sound of pain was made, before it's body is torn in half and dropped onto the ground.
  74.
  75. And if she were to watch it? Its body would vanish into the shadows.
  76.
  77. "Splendid!" Bringing a hand forwards, he gives her two quick gentle pats on the head. "I look forward to seeing just how you interact with others in the village, I expect improvements~."
  78.
  79. Leaning away again, he sighs. "Is that all then? I'm unsure of what guide you see or what you wish to know, but I am no guide."
  80. (Phantom)
  81. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  82.
  83. [22:48] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  84. [22:58] She watched the snake as it dropped to the ground, ripped in twain. That was a sight but she'd seen other such illusions or creatures she just wasn't sure exactly /what/ they were.
  85.
  86. Still her gaze followed along with Phantom for a moment. Watching the man retake his position at the tree. Her brow twitched as he played with her, a soft grinding sound as before she swallowed. Trying to keep the evident hostility out of her voice.
  87.
  88. "No, I learned enough I won't take up more of your time."
  89.
  90. After she'd spoken her gaze flitted to Grendal for a moment before going back to Phantom. Her expression tried to appear amicable but it was clear she was struggling with it. She'd not say anything for a second before turning around and starting to walk away.
  91.
  92. (Yvette)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [23:01] Phantom asks, "Is that all dear?"
  96. [23:02] Yvette says, "Mhm."
  97. [23:02] Phantom says, "Feel free to ask any questions~."
  98. [23:03] Yvette says, "..."
