❍ BACKGROUND
  — 𝐁𝐎𝐘
   the boy was born in busan, south korea with two older brothers and a younger sister. the boy lived a relatively normal life. his father was an amazing dentist while his mother was a fashion designer. throughout his birth until he was five, he lived in busan with his grandparents and relatives - often playing outside ( which resulted with him being a fast runner ). once he reached the age of six, his family and him moved to seoul since the father wanted a better area for his business.
  — 𝐍𝐎 𝐀𝐈𝐑
   when the boy started middle school, a lot of his classmates started gossiping about idols and such. the topic made him curious. when he had asked a friend about it, he was bombarded with facts about the idols his friend liked ( vixx, shinee, f(x), to name a few ) and haneul was overwhelmed by how much his friend knew. slowly but surely, the topic made him even more invested. he soon became interested in music and even took lessons to play a few instruments.
  — 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐀𝐋
   haneul was just fifteen when he secretly auditioned for fantagio entertainment. no, he didn't audition because his parents didn't allow it. he just decided to do so because he wasn't sure that he was going to be accepted. so when he was told that he was accepted, boy did he get he a long lecture from his parents, more specifically from his mother. sure, they were mad that haneul didn't tell them, not even his siblings, but was proud nonetheless. thus, he trained there for a good three years before stopping due to his mental health. once he recovered, he tried his luck with c9 entertainment and was accepted.
