1. Name: Audrey Marianna/"M." Jones
2.
3. Age: 21 (18 when starting out)
4.
5. Gender: Female
6.
7. Year and Month of Interference: January, 2010
8.
9. Alignment: Neutral Good, with a Chaotic lean
10.
11. Personality:
12.
13. At first, Audrey was very reserved and seemingly on the shy side, rarely ever speaking unless she absolutely needed to. Due to constant bullying, from her peers in school and her older brother, as well as constantly dealing with fighting parents, she closed herself off from making any sort of friends, bottling her emotions until she let it all out when alone. When pushed over the edge, she would lash out blindly, attacking anyone in her vicinity whether they deserved it or not. It was only when she was alone that she allowed herself to escape into an imaginary world that she made for herself, away from the troubles of her life. When one did get to know her well, they would find that Audrey could in fact be very talkative when she wanted to. Though this sometimes ends up as tangents from her end, she would slow down provided she is reminded. Though she has trouble reading people, she is still very caring and understanding to another's needs, doing everything she can to help out. Unfortunately, this made her a bit of a people-pleaser, leaving some people to take advantage of her. Nonetheless, in spite of her flaws and provoked violent behavior, she is a good person underneath it all, even though she has difficulty showing it, judging others by who they are instead of what they stand for.
14.
15. After the years of being an Interference, Audrey has allowed herself to come out of her shell and open up more to others, becoming a lot more friendly around people. After her previous experiences, she has allowed herself to be less naive and more cautious around others in the case they might be lying to her or trying to trick her. Though her annoyances do get the better of her, letting off light sarcasm at best and her comments often coming off as insensitive at worst, she will come around and show that she didn't mean it, never wanting to be rude for rudeness' sake. Although she still has her violent tendencies when angered, she has resolved not to let it overcome her. Her positivity tends to outweigh her negativity, even if most of the time it's to mask the pain and trauma that she'd dealt with in the past few years. In spite of this, her compassion and honesty shine through, and she's much more confident and capable of taking care of herself, even if her fears sometimes come through. In turn, this has made her a bit more stubborn than she was before. With her dream-related powers, her imagination is no longer used for escapism, but rather to aid her friends and build serene dream-worlds not just for herself, but for those close to her.
16.
17. In her mentalscape is her counterpart named Akyra, the representation of her wind powers and her sword. In contrast to Audrey's niceness, Akyra is completely sarcastic and rude, often making jokes at her other's expense, as well as to those who can hear her, though she knows where to draw the line. She tends to be very lewd, most of her comments coming off as incredibly tasteless. Despite this, her actions are more akin to an older sibling messing around with her younger sister; she really does care about Audrey's well-being in the end, knowing when to be serious when the situation calls for it and giving a warning through loud caws, never using these to annoy her host so as not to confuse her (tempting as it is). As much as she can be sarcastic, she can also be very helpful, usually giving some tactical and combat advice. Often, it's usually her rudeness that gives Audrey the kick that she needs, being blunt and straight to the point for her to hear clearly.
18.
19. Powers:
20.
21. Dream Magic: Obtained in her late Awakening, Dream magic appears a sparkling, pink cloud of energy. This energy is formed from Audrey's dreams and positive energy; though its element is slightly skewed, it appears to have the most elements related to Light.
22.
23. Spell List:
24.
25. - REM: Ether like spell; restores all magic with a cloud of light pink color. Can't be used on herself.
26.
27. - Quiesco: Regen spell; target will recover health for a total of five minutes, even if attacked.
28.
29. - Vita: Healing spell; single target, restores a minor amount of health.
30.
31. - Daydream: Imbues the target with a reflect status.
32.
33. - Ortus: Leveled up Vita; restores a large about of health and has an area affect.
34.
35. - Apnea: Steals the breath from the target, dealing damage to health and magic.
36.
37. - Tutela: Raises a target’s defense by one and a half and their resistance by twice their natural parameters.
38.
39. - Phantasos: Cures target of any status effect that's been afflicted.
40.
41. - Somnium: Highest level of Vita; completely heals a target and gives a very slight regen boost. (LOCKED; usable in Dreamer Form as of now)
42.
43. - Lucid Dream: Leveled up Tutela; raises defense and attack by three times. (LOCKED; usable in Dreamer Form as of now)
44.
45. - Animus: Audrey takes her dreams and turns them into a burst of energy; this costs the entirety of her magic and causes her to pass out after casting (Has the potential for friendly fire). (LOCKED; usable in Dreamer Form as of now)
46.
47. - Sandman:
48.
49. - Dream Walker: Audrey expends all of her magic at once to enter the dreams of another for a few hours real time. From there, she could interact with projections and repair any forms of damage done to the mind, such as mind-control, though this take a lot of work. In some cases, she could use her power to teleport within the dream world and, depending how much power she uses, take control of the world itself and weave it into a dream of her liking. After the events of Dream Drop Distance, she can now use this on herself, using it to further build her own dream world.
50.
51. Dreamer Form: With the aid of a close ally or in a great deal of danger, Audrey will take up this form, based on how she sees herself in her dreams. Akin to Wisdom Form, this boosts her magic and, as noted, gives access to all of her spells. With her magic energy forming into wings for herself, she also gains the ability of flight for the duration of her form. When changing to this form while using Dream Walker, this allows her to control the dream world instantly, whether it's her own or in the mind of another. After the events of Dream Drop Distance, she can also change her eyes to see the true essence of those around her, countering illusions and mind-control spells.
52.
53. - Dreamer's Flight: Growth ability of Dreamer Form. As a form of a Glide ability, this allows her to hover in the air for a short period of time, leaving behind faint trails of pink mist. After her Transcendence in Journey, the powers of that world have been integrated into her magical garments, adding to the ability in that not only can she glide, but she's become lighter in general, allowing her to descend in high areas gently, carry herself on winds more easily, and slide easily in sloped areas. This can work against her, however, depending how strong a wind's current is.
54.
55. Aeromancy: As a facet of obtaining Tempest from the Water Dragon in the Spirit Plain, Audrey can also use her own form of wind magic. Though at first using only the abilities within Tempest, Akyra has guided her into using it beyond the use of the game's abilities and manipulate it whenever she pleases, giving her an extra spellset. She uses this magic as a form of self-defense while she relies mostly on her Dream magic.
56.
57. Spell List:
58.
59. - Aero: A sharp blade of wind that slices at a target, dealing minor wind damage.
60.
61. - Aerora: Many slashes of air cut a group of enemies, dealing moderate wind damage.
62.
63. - Aeroga: A sphere of air forms, encompassing a group and dealing massive air damage within. (LOCKED; usable only by Akyra)
64.
65. - Air Bullet: Precision strike, a single blast of pure wind that deals an extreme amount of damage, but has zero splash damage at all.
66.
67. - Jet Propulsion: Forces wind back, launching herself straight at a target at blinding speed for a tackle or lunge.
68.
69. - Gale Snare: Forms a wind-based proximity mine of a sort, creating a miniature tornado below the feet of her opponents that surges up when they pass over it. Can be placed on the floor, ceiling, or walls, and can be charged with other kinds of magic. Lasts for one use and must be reset.
70.
71. - Levitation: Capable of levitating herself, or, given time to concentrate, others.
72.
73. - Flight: Can create and ride on winds.
74.
75. - Windblast:
76.
77. - Choke: Create a vacuum around a single target's head, causing suffocation over time. Requires time and concentration to cast and hold. (LOCKED; usable only by Akyra)
78.
79. - Tornado: An enormous tornado touches down and zips around the arena, throwing targets into the air and wrecking the environment, and causing a massive amount of air damage. Friendly fire. (LOCKED; usable only by Akyra)
80.
81. Abilities:
82.
83. Audrey has a pretty good imagination, her love for storytelling factoring into this. While often not very original, she can fabricate an entire fantasy to escape into. Though she's more focused nowadays and therefore less likely to disappear in her little dream world, she still uses this to aid herself in her dream-based powers.
84.
85. After having Interfered in Silent Hill 3 and being a general horror geek, Audrey has developed a prowess in survival-horror scenarios. Though she can still be afraid and surprised at the occasional jump scare, she can still pull through better than she did when she first started, facing whatever fearsome entity she has to head on.
86.
87. Through the years of training herself, Audrey has developed her skills with her sword and boomerang. In combat, she tends to be focused, aiming to be precise, but can lose it when she starts getting violent. As well, in the years spent training, she's obtained a degree of athleticism, especially in terms of flight whenever she has the chance.
88.
89. Outside of combat and skills to aid her powers, Audrey could play the piano very well and has some talent in choir singing, though anything else is off-key. She also enjoys cooking, especially Italian dishes thanks to her heritage.
90.
91. Appearance:
92.
93. Audrey has long brown hair reaching past her shoulders; naturally curly and wavy, but always straightened, with bangs swept to the right side of her face; and dark brown eyes, standing at 5'5". Due to lack of outdoor activities, spending a good chunk of her time on the computer, she used to have very pale skin and was very thin, weighing at 115 pounds. She once wore a long-sleeved light green shirt with darker green stripes, a khaki vest with a hood lined with faux fur, dark blue jeans and white sneakers. (see here)
94.
95. Over the years, she's gained a bit of weight with muscle and got some color on her, thanks to having a bit more activity in the video game universe. Upon realizing her potential with Dream magic, her outfit has changed to magical garments associated with her powers. She now wears a red top with pink linings on the sleeves and collar, a pink spiral design on the sides; a pair of red shorts with a three-quarter skirt over it, the skirt also having the pink spiral design, and a pink ribbon wrapped in a bow on the back of her waist; white gloves with red linings at the end; pink nylons, and red ankle-high boots, once more with the pink spiral design. Occasionally, she wears a red beret, bought to match with her clothes. (see here and here)
96.
97. When in Dreamer Form, her clothes change from red to white, the pink spirals changing to pink cloud prints, and a wing design added to her boots. The back-bow unwraps and becomes a sash suspended around her, Dream energy spiraling around it, and she glows with a white aura. In part with her dreams of having wings of her own, her Dream mist takes form into energy wings on her back, taking the shape of a nightingale's wings as per how she sees herself. (see here (credit goes to Doc for the sketch))
98.
99. Akyra is essentially a doppelgänger of Audrey, with the same brown hair and eyes and the same body shape. The difference is that she takes on a harpy-like appearance, with black wings in place of her arms and sharp red talons for legs. She wears a red dress that's opened up a bit at the chest to reveal some cleavage, a wide slit at the right leg that is slightly held by two belts, and several zippers at the top and the skirt part, only for design (insert Nomura joke here).

101. Weapons:
102.
103. After obtaining Dream magic in her Awakening, Audrey wields a magic sword summoned from Akyra. The sword appears and emanates with a bright glow, the hilt red and Dream mist imprinting itself along the guard and the center of the white blade. The blade itself is double-edged and thin, a hinge midway up and a handle just below it. By gripping the handle, Audrey can bend the sword and turn it into a boomerang to throw at long range, often aided with her wind powers. When in boomerang-mode, the blade becomes black and razor-edged, resembling a black wing.
104.
105. Hyper Blaster: A high-powered laser-firing handgun with an infrared scope and unlimited laser bullets, obtained during the incident when the Otherworld broke out in several worlds while it was left there by Xigbar. In its lightish red laser mode, the blaster is at its weakest; in yellow, mid-strength; and green, it's as powerful as a high-powered rifle. These modes change in that order depending on how long she holds down the trigger; the longer she does, the more powerful it is. Using her magic, she can also use it for three other modes: a powerful concussive shot of pure wind that can blast someone back like a cannon; a sleep dart that increases its effectiveness, longevity, and speed of working depending on the mode; and a healing shot for whoever it's used on. Because she uses her magic reserves for this, these modes can only be used by her.

107. Equipment:
108.
109. Telekinesis "Kinesis" Module Glove (G.R.I.P.): A grey glove worn on her right hand with a sky blue box on the back of the forearm, obtained from a fallen EarthGov soldier in the Government Sector of the Sprawl. Kinesis works by projecting a tube of crackling white energy (an artificial gravity field) from the glove slip's palm emitter pad. Once grabbed by the leading edge of the tube, the desired object's gravity is nullified and drawn toward her. Small objects will stop about a foot from the pad, suspended in midair, while movable objects come as close as their connections allow. Deactivation of the Kinesis effect releases the object, leaving it to fall in the direction of the nearest gravitational center of mass. However, reversing the tube's polarity any time after achieving latch-on causes the object to be thrown away from her with a velocity inversely proportional to the distance from the palm emitter pad, even able to be fired as an impalement device if possible by the device itself, to stick a target to a surface. Also, by turning the hand during use, the field holding an object can turn in tandem, allowing for long-range utilization of switches, manipulation of objects, or, if continuously moved, in making an object such as a lever spin continuously along with it. Due to not being connected to its typical Resource Integration Gear, this version of the glove operates by using her magic reserves, and therefore is more limited in its use than a typical kinesis module. Audrey uses this because telekinesis of this sort is reminiscent of manipulation of dream, as well as allowing for more improvisation in the environment, the use of some extra technology that is otherwise unusable, and reaching things that would otherwise require flying.
110.
111. Summon Gem (Jack Skellington): After her help in dealing with some trouble involving Oogie Boogie in Halloween Town, Audrey has received a Summon Gem as a gift from Santa Claus, allowing her to call upon Pumpkin King Jack to aid her in battle. The gem appears, as per its nature, as a small jack-o-lantern that glows with its pumpkin fire. When summoned, Jack first appears in his scarecrow "Pumpkin King" form, surrounded by flames, before a final burst, along with him declaring "I am the Pumpkin King!", has him appear as how he is. In battle, Jack fights as he does in his own game, The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge, in that he wields a slime-like substance called the Soul Robber and has two forms: the aforementioned Pumpkin King form and the "Sandy Claws" form. The use of the Soul Robber is like that of a whip, forming into a blade and a spiked ball at higher combos, as well as grappling onto ledges or enemies to slam to the ground or toss them away, usually at other enemies. In Pumpkin King form, he can conjure his pumpkin fire, either by breathing it out or causing a combustion around him. Sandy Claws form has him sending out "presents" to surprise his foes; depending on the gift used, they can either stun the enemy, emit an icy breath to freeze opponents, or surprise possessed enemies out of their possession. With Audrey's help, they can enter a "musical" mode where they sing and dance to attack their enemies.
112.
113. White Cloak: The White Cloak is a sign of Audrey's Transcendence in Journey, obtained and kept after she completed hers with all of the glowing symbols obtained. When used in the mysterious desert world, it's given a scarf that recharges its power the minute the wearer touches the ground, giving enhanced flying capabilities that a red scarf is otherwise unable to do without an extremely capable Companion. Outside of the world, it's just a normal cloak, though the golden embroideries still glow when Audrey uses her magic while wearing it. She keeps this cloak as a memento to not give up in her endeavors, wearing it only when she needs to go in hiding or, when feeling silly, playing a "shaman" role.

116.
117. History:
118.
119. Audrey Marianna Jones grew up a spoiled child, her parents giving her and her brother, Stephan, everything they wanted. Though she was always picked on at school for being weird, her violent tendencies having her sent home, she was otherwise a straight-A student, even with her tendency to procrastinate on work and her obsessive behavior. As a child, she was always very imaginative and had a love for writing stories, from little things to nearly the range of a novel. Rather than playing with other kids, she had her own personal fantasy world to play in, having the tendency to wander aimlessly whether at home or in public, factoring into her "strangeness."
120.
121. Growing up into her teenage years, things began to change. Due to the recession, her parents were struggling with their jobs, the stress making them take it out on each other and their kids. Stephan began to hang out with the wrong crowd, often coming home violent and badmouthing his family, and ultimately ended up getting kicked out of the house when it was discovered that he stole some of their jewelry, including their parents' wedding bands, and pawned them off. And Audrey was caught in the middle of everything, between her fighting parents and, before he was thrown out, being forced by her brother to lie else he took or broke her possessions, often getting herself into trouble along with him. Bullying in school had gotten progressively worse from middle to high school, the rumors being spread and often getting to the point of physical fights, with her bullies getting away with everything while she was the one receiving several detentions and suspensions due to her overt violence. With no one to turn to, her parents not giving her the guidance that she needed, counselors coming and going, and having no real friends, she turned to the internet and video games to provide an escape, continuing to write her stories, talking with people she would never meet, and venting out her stress in the games she still had. The fantasy world that she had continuously created as a child became a further escape from the troubles of her life, from the thoughts of suicide in order to just end it all.
122.
123. Everything began for her a week after her eighteenth birthday, unable to celebrate it due to the further stress of their house being on the verge of foreclosure. While her parents had another one of their fights, Audrey had disappeared to the safety of her room, once again retreating to escapism. After once again contemplating suicide, she instead started playing one of her favorite games, Silent Hill 3, loving the series for its heavy symbolism and making her think deeply about its meanings. The minute she started up a new game, however, was where things started getting strange. When she picked the new game plus option, which would have had her start without the nightmare, she began with that instead. But that was not the scary part. The girl who appeared as her player character was not the protagonist of the game, Heather Mason, but rather Audrey herself, holding the kitchen knife that she kept for her suicidal thoughts as her only weapon. Even more, when she saw this, she found the actual knife was no longer beside her. She played with morbid curiosity, every instant happening to her in the game, she had felt in reality. The pain from the monsters' blows, the adrenaline pumping as she fought and ran from them, her ears piercing from the loud sounds, the fear from everything she had been experiencing. Then, finally, came the end of it, where she had to go over the roller coaster tracks and get hit to wake up. And so she did, walking over the tracks...just as the coaster came rushing in, slamming into her...
124.
125. And she woke up from the nightmare. Woke up from the growing years of pain and misery. Woke up to a new life, within the Silent Hill universe.
126.
127. Despite ending up in the survival-horror world, Audrey had come to accept it very quickly, glad to finally be away from the troubles of her life like she'd always wanted. Not long after realizing this, she had received the memories of her new life. She had moved out the minute she turned eighteen, wanting to get away from the fighting that had been going on between her parents. Her new home was in the Daisy Villa Apartments, the same place where the two Silent Hill protagonists, Heather and Harry Mason, had lived; she even lived right next door to them. As per the game's canon, though, she had no association with them, only continuing her life as normally as she could make it. And live a normal life she did, going to work the following day, having a job in one of the stores at the Central Square Shopping Center in this new life. Though worried about the possibility of facing any of the game's horrors, the teen didn't expect to do so, focused on going through the day normally while whatever events that were so far transpiring in the game went on. Aside from the one instance where later in the day, Detective Douglas Cartland had come to question her on the background of the Silent Hill protagonists, there was no further involvement with the game itself as she went on with the day...or so she thought.
128.
129. Audrey had been walking through the corridors, on her way to head home, when she saw that she was being followed. Though she tried to escape from the mystery figure, she heard them call her "Interference" and saying that her being there would disrupt their reaching "Paradise." From that, she knew instantly it was a member of the Order, a fanatical cult and major antagonistic force throughout the Silent Hill series. She tried to run, but the cultist had caught up to her and attacked, beating her into unconsciousness. The last thing she heard was the cultist being reprimanded by a voice familiar to her: the game's antagonist, Claudia Wolf. Following that was the sight of familiar hellish surroundings, before her vision turned black.
130.
131. When she awoke, however, she didn't face any known horrors like she'd thought. Instead, she woke back to the "normal" world, having been found by Douglas and brought to safety. After explaining the attack to him, she witnessed the brief talk between the detective and Heather, the protagonist making her way to the subway while Douglas had driven Audrey back home, the girl unable to take a cab due to losing her wallet after the attack. On the way, Audrey had bonded a little with the old detective, telling him of her troubles when the opportunity came and Cartland giving his side in those regards. However, things took another turn for the worst when she arrived back home. Her apartment had just been broken into, threats written to her in blood about her "interference" in their reaching Paradise and bringing their God back. Although she was in fear for her life, Audrey had grown frustrated and decided to get involved regardless of the threats. She had gone next door to warn Harry Mason about the Order just before the inevitable could happen, trying to prevent his death rather than letting it go through as per the game's events. However, the minute she did so, she was caught by the section's "boss," the Missionary, and dragged to the rooftop. There, she had met Claudia Wolf in person, who told her that she initially would have let her be without "interfering," not explaining what she meant even after the teen asked, but with her stunt in warning the first Silent Hill protagonist, there was no avoiding it anymore. Before she could be killed, Harry had arrived and attempted to stop this, fighting off the Missionary while Audrey tried to keep the monster from killing the previous hero, even though she had been told to run. However, it was inevitable; when the monster turned on her to kill her on the spot, Harry stood in its path, taking the blow instead. What Audrey tried to prevent, she instead caused in a different way. Even more, Claudia once again decided not to kill the girl, finding her completely useless rather than a threat.
132.
133. Despite her involuntarily bringing about the man's fate, Harry knew she only wanted to help and asked for her to look after his daughter as his last request. As Audrey promised to look after her, he then gave the teen his notebook before he'd died, for her to give to Heather herself. Afterwards, Audrey stayed locked inside her apartment, in tears as she read the notebook herself, holding the kitchen knife that she had in her nightmare as her only weapon in the case she would be attacked again. For a while, she didn't get involved, until Douglas Cartland once again arrived to see what was going on. After a bit of consideration, the girl followed him to her neighbor's apartment once more and explained what had happened to the detective, just before Heather came back after finishing off the Missionary that Audrey failed to do. Not only did the protagonist yell at Douglas for starting this mess, but she also yelled at her supposed neighbor for failing to save her father after she found out what happened. Nonetheless, when Heather decided to go to Silent Hill to kill Claudia in revenge, Audrey resolved herself to go to the town along with her and Douglas to find out why she had been attacked, why she was being called an "Interference," rather than sit back and let this continue.
134.
135. And so, with Douglas bringing the teens there, did Audrey Jones begin her venture into Silent Hill. While she was in the infamous town of fog and monsters, Audrey, due to a lack of weapons on her person, mostly stayed with Douglas in his ventures, previously unseen in the game aside from what was shown, while Heather went off on her own. She had developed a further parental bond with the old detective (though different from his own bond with the Silent Hill heroine), as well as the courage to face the horrors that the town had wrought upon them. She had also faced monsters of her own, of her crippling fears and the burdens of her life weighing down on her.
136.
137. Eventually, the one change she did make was when they headed over to the Lakeside Amusement Park, encountering Claudia before Heather's arrival. As Douglas and Claudia had their exchange as per the game, Audrey distracted the priestess while the old man hesitated to shoot her, asking her why she kept being called an "Interference." Though the answer was vague, it was enough to reveal that Claudia, and by extension the rest of the Order, were completely aware of their world being part of a video game, as well as knowing that Audrey was from the Real World who came into theirs to escape her suffering. Though the antagonist took pity on the girl on that note, Audrey refused to have any part of the fanatical cult and tried to kill the woman herself. However, like Douglas and Heather, she too had hesitated, now truly understanding why neither of the two could really do it. Nonetheless, they managed to get out of the situation with Audrey taking most of the blows from the sudden attack, leaving Douglas relatively unharmed. When Heather met up with them, her berating was aimed towards both Audrey and Douglas, Audrey for getting hurt instead and Douglas on the possibility of him getting hurt as well. In spite of her injuries, it was at this point that Audrey finally joined the Silent Hill protagonist, the detective staying back to let the two carry out their unfinished business.
138.
139. Aside from Audrey's monsters intersecting with Heather's, and her explaining that the Seal of Metatron was completely useless earlier on (resulting in further yelling from Heather that she could have avoided all the trouble she faced in the hospital), there were no further changes, Audrey continuing to hesitate to kill the antagonistic woman where it would have truly helped. Even as she attempted to stop Claudia from killing Vincent, who was another favorite character of Audrey's in spite of finding him creepier in person, that too was inevitable. In the end, the events of the end-game happened the way they did, with Audrey aiding Heather in killing the God that was born from Claudia instead of the heroine (which the girl felt even more sick bearing witness to it in person). Once the God was dead, Audrey had consoled Heather as she broke into tears for her father, almost crying along with her in her guilt at bringing it about in the first place. But then, as the two began to leave, with Heather looking back once, there was a sudden flash of white. And just like that, they were gone.
140.
141. To Audrey's confusion, they had suddenly wound up in Twilight Town of the Kingdom Hearts series, another favorite of the girl's. To find out what was going on, they had gone to Yen Sid for more information by her suggestion, even though she wasn't sure herself. There, the old sorcerer had explained further about Interferences, how Audrey's heart connected with her game in her moment of wanting to escape her life and how she can now change the events of various games if she so wished to, as well as explaining about the game worlds in how they were now connected with the Kingdom Hearts universe thanks to Alexander Karsath, the Original Interference. Though Audrey was unsure of her role, due to her failures in saving Harry and Vincent and her hesitation to kill Claudia herself, she slowly came to accept it, once more with the fact that she wouldn't have to return to her troubling life. With Heather joining her for the time being, the two teens had gone to Radiant Garden afterwards to obtain Gummi Ships of their own and start their travels. And so, on their separate ships; Heather's Wings of Metatron and Audrey's unnamed for the time being; did they begin their Interference adventures.
142.
143. Unfortunately, their starting travels was not the best way to begin. Winding up in the Jade Empire, they aided the protagonist, Furious Ming, in battling the emperor Sun Hai. However, after they defeated him, not only was the protagonist suddenly killed by the real antagonist, Sun Li, but so was Audrey, Heather left alive as a cruel reminder of what had happened. However, the girl had been given another chance, winding up in the Spirit Plain along with the protagonist and two other Interferences, Gregory Zivaku and Kynthia Usagi, and the counterpart of the former, Lukgar Revak. Together, they were tasked by the Water Dragon, the goddess of reincarnation and the circle of life, in cleansing a temple in the snowy city of "Dirge." The Water Dragon also granted them powers used within the world, Audrey obtaining the ability known as Tempest that allowed her to manipulate winds. In the end, everyone fought the manifestation of their sins, doppelgängers that looked like them minus the white hair of a spirit. For Audrey, she had faced her Rage, who mocked her for being weak and helpless towards her tormentors; her peers in school, her brother, and her parents; as well as bringing up her failures in her first Interference. However, in spite of the growing anger, Audrey had rejected her sin, resolving not to let it control her. That was all before they were revived, Audrey reuniting with Heather, the heroine finally coming around and apologizing for her attitude, and Greg and Kynthia with their two friends, the Kingdom Hearts protagonists Sora and Kairi (whom Audrey had a small bout of fangirling towards). Saying goodbye to their new friends, Audrey and Heather left to continue their travels, their friendship growing after that endeavor. However, despite Audrey's rejection of her sin, the lesson she learned didn't stick. Because of that, unbeknownst to her, the manifestation began to grow back within her, slowly.
144.
145. Audrey and Heather returned to Twilight Town to hang out like normal teenagers, getting to know each other beyond a player and her favorite video game character. In the midst of their talk, Audrey had accidentally bumped into Sorin Mireu, an accident that would soon grow into a blossoming relationship. However, at the start, he was rude to them, pushing away their attempts at niceties. Although Heather was able to stand up to him, Audrey was quietly offended by his attitude. Just before she could try to speak up, they were suddenly interrupted by Sorin's apparent evil future self, attempting to get the boy to fall into his darker side and keep the timeline as it was for himself. In turn, he had suddenly turned on Audrey, attempting to kill her on the spot, but with Heather fending him off. With the intervention of Sorin's counterpart, Drega, the boy was able to snap out of his rage, forcing his future to attempt to kill Audrey as a last attempt, as her death would have brought this dark time to play out as it was. However, Sorin intervened at the last minute, protecting the girl and rejecting his murderous future. After bringing Sorin back to health with their healing reserves, he apologized for the attitude he had given, explaining that a past event had brought him to fall into his darkness instead of focusing on the light side of things. Though he didn't go further into what this event was, Audrey didn't press on, though she began to develop a crush on the boy who had saved her life. Heather, sensing this, suggested that the two travel together for him to, in her words, "help make up for the damage" while she would go off on her own for the time being. At first, Audrey was reluctant, knowing that her canon friend was playing matchmaker. But, with Sorin agreeing to the idea, the girl did so as well in order to get to know him more. Saying goodbye to her friend for the time being, they parted ways, Audrey going with the aptly titled "Solar Samurai" and finding more adventures with him.
146.
147. Exploring several worlds with Sorin, following embarrassing hijinks and him having to protect her due to her limited weapons and use of her powers, Audrey grew closer to the samurai. She had also found out what that past event was after traveling a bit more with him. Before his Interference, Sorin had known a girl named Makino Shiori and fell for her. However, he also revealed that, though he saw past this, she was mentally unstable, and in the end, he found that she commited suicide, forcing him to push others outside of his family away. Though Audrey comforted him on that note, she couldn't fully comprehend what it might have felt like, only growing uncertain with her feelings for the boy. However, after visiting a few more worlds with him, she had gathered the courage to confess her crush to him. To her surprise, at the same time, he had confessed his own developing feelings for her, wanting to give another chance at dating with her. Quietly accepting, Audrey had begun her first relationship with a boy, the two returning to Twilight Town to have their first date. There, they had tried sea-salt ice cream together, went out to dinner at a local restaurant, and went to sing karaoke together. At the end, watching the sunset from the high clock tower ledge, they had shared their first kiss, cementing their relationship as a couple. Afterwards, however, Audrey decided to go on her own, needing time to herself to process all of this. Though concerned, Sorin allowed her to part ways for the time being in order to truly consider this.
148.
149. In spite of going their separate ways for now, Audrey was still on an emotional high, ending up on Nippon, the world of Okami, which was yet another favorite of hers. She ran through the vast fields and eventually wound up in the Agata Forest, exclaiming her glee all the way. However, her uplifted spirit was about to take a sharp dive down. Not only did she meet up with Kynthia Usagi, who resided on the world and turned out to be the daughter of one of the Brush Gods, Yumigami, but she had found her with the apparent brother of Greg Zivaku named Isaac. Though he appeared friendly at first, his true intentions were revealed when he forced Kynthia to fight her own father. As well, he had forced Audrey into a Binding Ritual that he had placed upon the demigoddess before, making her fight as well at his command. Though they were intercepted by Amaterasu and Issun, they ended up retreating, Isaac going to take Kynthia elsewhere and giving his last orders to Audrey: to not tell anyone about her Bind and to kill not just Pyro Mireu, Sorin's brother, but also Sorin himself on sight. Unable to fight against her command, Audrey wound up on Destiny Islands against her will, falling into tears the minute she was away from her "master."
150.
151. To her misfortune, Sorin and Pyro were on the world as well. Despite her telling them to get away from her, her warnings went unheeded as the two approached her in concern. She had attacked them once they were in vicinity, screaming her anguish in doing so. Though Sorin looked heartbroken at her sudden actions, Pyro was able to fight back against her and hold her down. Due to her command, she couldn't explain her situation to them, though they were able to figure out that she was under control due to her struggling against her actions. Though they didn't know who had done this to her, the brothers resolved to find out and help free her. However, in turn, Audrey and Sorin were forced apart, giving tearful goodbyes and, as much as Audrey could manage without trying to kill him, a last kiss before they could ever see each other again. Separated from the first boy she had ever fallen for, Audrey cried out her anguish once more and broke down into uncontrollable tears, wishing that she had never decided to play video games on that fateful night.
152.
153. Over time, as her Soul Bind continued to keep her away from Sorin and his brother, the girl began to lose her mind, pushing other good-willed Interferences away from her in their attempts to help her. Eventually, fate took another turn downhill as she wound up in Traverse Town and heard a familiar voice calling to her from within. It was the voice of her Rage, reawakened from her growing insanity and the energies used within the Soul Bind. Though she tried to ignore its temptations to fall into her fury, the manifestation had begun to fill her with memories that brought her rage into full force: being bullied by her peers in school and them getting away with everything, her controlling brother who stole or destroyed her beloved possessions whenever she fought back, and her fighting parents who refused to listen to a word she said and continued to pour their problems down onto her when she could do nothing. With all of this piling up, Audrey had snapped, blinded and overcome with fury. She had taken it all out on the innocent civilians that resided on the world, murdering them in her violent rampage and stopping at nothing with her Rage controlling her. Not only had Sorin and Pyro arrived to bear witness to this, but so did her best friend Heather and a redeemed Isaac Zivaku. Though she had attacked due to her Bind's commands, she didn't stop even after Isaac freed her, attempting to murder her friends and first love in her blind hatred. However, before the fight would continue, Audrey had unconsciously used a spell that knocked herself and the Interferences out, dragging them all into her subconscious.
154.
155. They had ended up in her Station of Awakening, the four facing the manifestation of her Rage. Rather than the doppelgänger that Audrey had faced, she had taken form of a hideous and corrupted monster, the Soul Bind and Audrey's insanity having influenced this form. While they fought the manifestation, Audrey had gone through her Awakening for the first time, discovering her real potential. She had met three figures representing different parts of herself: her pride, the "Crow," her wisdom, the "Owl," and her love, the "Dove." Afterwards, she had then met another doppelgänger of herself, a harpy-like girl who went by the name of Akyra, named after a character that Audrey created and would have liked to forget. As Akyra explained, in her sarcastic way, she was her counterpart, formed out of her connection with her Tempest ability, as well as a representation of her new weapon. Before she could become such, Audrey had to accept her escapist ways and use them to help others, instead of running away from her problems and letting her violent tendencies control her. Though as ever hesitant and doubtful of herself, she slowly accepted it, and from it, she had obtained new powers known as Dream magic, its benevolent healing tendencies to be used to contrast with her growing darkness. With this, the girl and her counterpart joined their friends in battle, Akyra taking back the wind powers that the manifestation controlled. With her new powers and a new weapon that the counterpart had changed to; a sword that could morph into a boomerang; they defeated the monster, Audrey rejecting her Rage for good. Upon waking up, however, she was horrified and traumatized by her actions, the blood of many on her hands. However, Sorin and her friends managed to talk through to her, letting her know that she had a chance to atone and that she was not completely at fault. Although she had parted ways from her boyfriend and her best friend once more, the now-titled "Dream Mage" had found the resolve to go on and find atonement for her sins, her new spells helping her find this redemption in helping others instead.
156.
157. It was during this time that Audrey had partook in a major world event known as the War of Heaven and Hell, a war that took over when many future selves traveled back and took sides. This was especially named after the presumed leaders of both sides; the angelic (in nature only) Captain Greg "Kaith" and the demonic Isaac Koniro "Reaper". Naturally, Audrey took part on the good side in her attempt to redeem herself. It was also here that she had met her own future self; a rebel fighter who went by her middle name, Marianna, and whose abilities were far more advanced than Audrey's own. She fought in many battles and faced many horrors, including witnessing the brutal death of Sora by Reaper. For a while, she stayed to console a distressed Kairi after giving the news, before going back into the action, going through the portal in Twilight Town to The World That Never Was and holding off the enemies along with Marianna at Twilight's Crossing. After a while, they decided there was only one way to end this. They dove into a crevice beneath the Castle That Never Was, diving into the Otherworld of The Darkness universe. There, they had released the Angelus, taking out the Otherworld's forces. However, at the same time, their actions had also killed the whole world of The Darkness; although it was for a good cause, it was another blow to Audrey's psyche. In the end, Reaper was erased from existence, the events of the War erased with it, the deaths of many including Sora revived and the damages that had been wrought on the worlds undone. All that was left of it were the memories of those involved. Saying goodbye to Marianna as she went back to her timeline with all the other futures, her future self gave her a vote of confidence, but also told her to look after her brother, hinting at his own Interference in the worlds and warning her about the dangers she was about to face with him. With that, Audrey moved on, having no time to celebrate due to the news she had just received.
158.
159. Eventually, her travels had brought her to reunite with Stephan Shepherds; having changed his last name while living on his own; like she had been told. Though there was tension between them, Audrey had found out what sort of dangers he had already been faced with. He had been called to Silent Hill, faced with his own trials and terrifying monsters, including a pursuer of his own. Taking pity on him, as well as noting that he looked to have changed from how he was before, Audrey agreed to travel together with him in order to help him recover. Together, the two siblings had explored a few worlds, their endeavors allowing them to reconcile with each other and finally get along for once. However, what Audrey didn't know was that deep within her brother, that pursuer had lied in dormancy, waiting for the moment to strike once more...
160.
161. Audrey and Stephan would soon find themselves in the world of Baten Kaitos, a world of a little known game that would have a major impact on the two siblings. There, they had dropped right into the antagonist's base, the Imperial Fortress, where they had encountered the villains of the game: Melodia, the main antagonist; Fadroh, an Imperial commander and Melodia's second right-hand man; and, spoiling the game's twist for the siblings, Kalas, the protagonist-turned-villain. However, recognizing that they were Interferences who knew nothing about the game, Melodia had struck a deal for them to go join the remaining heroes of the game and make sure they arrive safe and sound, not specifying as to why. In turn, she would grant them the same gift that she had bestowed upon Kalas: a pair of beautiful wings of their own. Though Stephan thought nothing of this, Audrey was tempted by the idea, having dreamt of having wings and the ability to fly on her own. With that, they agreed to the task, staying the night within the fortress before they would set off. It was during her stay, however, that Audrey bore witness to Kalas' sudden struggle with himself, bringing an uncertainty to the deal. In the end, as they went and joined the five heroes of the game (who were aware of Interferences thanks to encountering Greg, Kynthia, Sora, and Kairi) and fought their way through the Imperial Fortress with them, defeating Fadroh along the way, it turned out their making sure they made it alive was all part of a plan to resurrect an evil god, the whole thing bringing back awful memories for Audrey. They were also unable to intervene and stop this, the powers used keeping them at bay, and the deal turned out to be a lie just to keep them on track. Although they were unable to stop the god from coming back, they had witnessed Kalas returning to the side of good by tearing off one of his wings, reverting back to his one-winged form. However, the effort had knocked the hero out, bringing Audrey to decide, after using her powers to heal herself and her allies, to use the spell that she had unconsciously used during her rampage: Dream Walker. She brought Kalas out of the painful memories he had been enduring and, after witnessing the death of his family, convinced him further that the dark path he had set upon wasn't what they would have wanted, helping finalize his decision to be a hero once more.
162.
163. From then on, there were no further changes from the two siblings as they joined the party of six through the rest of the game. Audrey had bonded with the heroes along the way, mostly with Xelha due to her typical kindness. She had also forgiven Melodia in the end, when it turned out that she was merely being possessed by the will of the god, the previously villainous girl redeeming herself in the end. However, in spite of her feelings for Sorin, she had ended up developing a crush on Kalas; aside from a general attraction, she found that they were similar in some ways, namely in that they were different from everyone else and that they were bullied by others for being such, even though there was nothing particularly wrong with them. But, once the world was saved, Kalas had rejected her feelings, having noticed it from the start, but having already fallen for Xelha long before that. Despite the minor heartbreak, Audrey agreed to being good friends with the hero, genuinely happy for him and Xelha being together. The heroine of the game had also given her some encouragement, telling her not to be so humble and doubtful of herself and look to all of the things she had done to help, instead of whatever past failures she had. With an uplifted spirit, Audrey had left with her brother on a good note, promising to visit the restored world that she had grown close to soon enough.
164.
165. However, not long after this venture, Audrey had begun to notice a change in Stephan. He had been quiet where he wouldn't be, his typical personality coming off as forced when he would sometimes lapse into a more formal way of speaking. Even more, she found that her brother had a glowing red eye in place of the left eye, recalling a mention of his pursuer having a red glow. When she confronted him about it, however, he snapped and ran off on his own. Though worried, Audrey tried not to think about it, instead continuing her adventures with a more determined outlook. She had met several more Interferences during her travels, including a Sneaselmorph named Jasmine that she befriended, and went back to hanging out with Sorin again, now more confident in terms of their relationship. During this time, Akyra had helped her in developing her wind powers outside of her Tempest abilities, using it as her own spell-set along with her Dream magic. As well, she had begun to come out of her shell and open up to others, any traces of shyness giving away to a friendlier, if hot-headed young woman. Over time, with all of her travels earning her enough munny, she had bought another apartment for herself in Twilight Town, Sorin helping her with the renovation. With a new place to stay outside of her Gummi Ship, now known as the Dream Weaver, Audrey had taken the time to rest from her journeys.
166.
167. However, while she slept, someone had broken into her apartment. Sorin, having slept in the living room to witness this, came to wake her before he took action. When she woke to have a look for herself, to her surprise, she found that it was Stephan, looking to be fighting against something within. Before Audrey could check to see what was wrong, he suddenly attacked, changing into a horrifying, reptilian but humanoid form. Realizing that it was Stephan's personal monster, Audrey and Sorin fought off the monster, the Solar Samurai protecting her from its fast movements and with her managing to keep it at bay with her developed wind magic. However, the monster had suddenly flashed its red eye at her, trapping her into a hallucination of her own personal monsters and several cultists surrounding her and beating her down. Just when she was about to give in to the pain, Sorin's voice called to her, helping her break free of this illusion and continue fighting with more resolve. With their combined efforts, Audrey and Sorin defeated the monster, who reverted back to Stephan as he retook control. What followed, however, had shocked the Dream Mage further. In his reckless anger, Stephan had stabbed out the red eye that contained his pursuer in an attempt to reject it from his being. Audrey quickly healed her brother from the injury, Sorin berating him on the possibility of killing himself with that stunt. Despite the monster supposedly gone for good, Stephan's magic set, a contrast to Audrey's Dream magic known as Nightmare, was removed along with the rejection, leaving him powerless. Nonetheless, it seemed that his own nightmare was over. With only a minor introduction to Sorin by Audrey, Stephan gave him a warning to not do anything 'funny' with his sister before going on his own, not even apologizing for the damage he inadvertently caused. Audrey held him in no contempt, however, only continuing her own journeys afterwards with her friends and boyfriend.
168.
169. After a while, Audrey found herself drawn into a familiar nightmare. Reuniting with Heather, she found that a sudden attack had caused the Otherworld of Silent Hill to break out in several worlds, such as Amestris in East City and Radiant Garden. Joining her friend, along with Sorin and Isaac, in putting a stop to the madness, they fought many monsters, not only from Heather's subconscious, but also her old ones, new ones coming from her mass murder, along with the men's own. Eventually, they were led back to Heather's home world, where Audrey first Interfered, Silent Hill. While they were there, Audrey had found the Hyper Blaster for herself, confused to how a secret weapon from the first game found its way, but finding it useful nonetheless. However, she had also witnessed Heather beginning to grow paranoid, and was unable to stop her from accidentally murdering Douglas Cartland for believing him to be a monster. Although she was saddened by the death of the old detective, having found him to be a parental figure of her own, as well as the fact that she once again couldn't save a character that she liked, she had helped Heather pull through when she broke down and lost her mind for a good while, empathizing with her in her similar experience with the rampage in Traverse Town. In the end, they had faced the perpetrator, a revived Claudia Wolf that was now a monster under the will of the God, and finally killed her themselves. Afterwards, however, was the last fight against the revived God Herself, once more reborn from Heather's latent powers and more powerful than She had been before. Their resources were used up in the battle, and they were all on the verge of death. All that was left was one last bullet from Heather's pistol. That was when she witnessed it. Heather, realizing this nightmare had come from her, shot herself in the head, her death simultaneously killing the God. Another death of a beloved character that Audrey could not avoid. But, as she tearfully mourned along with her boyfriend and the redeemed demon, the Otherworld had peeled away. The last thing she saw was the Hand of God, Valtiel, dragging the corpse of the Silent Hill heroine away before everything went black.
170.
171. The next thing the Interferences knew, the Otherworld was gone. Douglas, rather than killed, was instead wounded, as if Audrey had never avoided it then. Heather had also been revived, the damage caused by the Otherworld undone by Valtiel. Bringing Douglas to the town of Shepherd's Glen to help him recover, Audrey was able to give her thanks to the detective for giving her the guidance that she needed, as well as her goodbye for when she would leave the world again. She had also said goodbye to her friend, who finally took her true name of Cheryl as Harry Mason intended, as the Silent Hill protagonist had decided to stop her role as an Interference and go on with a normal life in Radiant Garden. In turn, Cheryl thanked Audrey for connecting to the game when she did, glad to have been given a chance at her own life thanks to the Dream Mage's Interference. With Alessa's final tale supposedly coming to a close, Audrey had left her first Interfered world behind. However, she couldn't help but feel another threat that was to come of this, like a certain rejected power drawing strength from the traces of the Otherworld where they had broken out...
172.
173. Trying to clear her mind, she went to the universe of Dead Space, landing on the planet of Aegis VII in the middle of an infestation of the eldritch Necromorphs with few humans, if any, remaining alive. Having arrived after the departure of Lexine Murdoch's group and before the arrival of Isaac Clarke on the planet surface, she was forced to fend for herself, learning how to defeat the monstrosities over the course of hours, and obtaining a Kinesis Module that she was able to power on a glove not attached to a Resource Integration Gear using her own Dream magic as a fuel source, using this tool in many zero-point gravity manipulation from there on in, including limited telekinetic combat and manipulating panels or heavy switches when necessary. This experience, though rewarding, left her with more lasting psychological scars. Thankfully, her friends and Sorin helped her through, keeping her from falling back to her old self. Audrey had several more adventures afterwards, none noteworthy to speak of, but bringing more of her newfound confidence to light, her previous traumas hidden behind her kind demeanor. Interferences came and went as she aided them, and her relationship with Sorin grew stronger.
174.
175. After some time, she got a call from the AI Kira. Apparently, due to a breakup between Greg and Kynthia, of which involved the deaths of several Interferences including his own brother, he had spent years putting himself through hell in order to die a hero, and she wanted a few Interferences to set him straight. The journey to attempt to bring him back included the worlds of Space Paranoids, Coded Arms, and eventually the Halo Universe, in the time of "Halo Wars" just before the Battle of the Apex due to a temporal portal. Eventually meeting with the UNSC human forces, she met with Fireteam Kilo, headed by Greg himself, along with Corporal Azumi Ian and Privates James Anchors and Tyler Vesely. After, through psychological intervention against the Jade Empire Spirit Plain-native Jealousy Aspect, the Interferences, including many counterparts, managed to set Greg straight, he still eventually died in a heroic way, this time not selfish at all as he replaced John Forge in destroying the sun of the world they were on. Equally tragic was the fact that Audrey found out, while telling her about the Interference worlds, that Azumi had a crush on the angel that she had not revealed to him. Though discouraged, the Interferences left on that note, knowing more of his troubles, including visits to multiple other worlds (one of them being Silent Hill, during the fourth game), and brought a version of Kira with them so as to keep her safe in his stead.
176.
177. Returning to Twilight Town in order to clear her mind from that venture, she then came across an older, revived Isaac Zivaku. Despite her anger at him not saying he was alive, along with the awful memories that came up with him, she was nice to his companion, his apparent nephew and the time traveling son of Kynthia snd Gregory, Naito. Showing the latter around the town, she saw Jasmine again, and introduced the group, noticing (with exasperation that Isaac shared) the attraction Naito had to the Pokemorph woman. She would have told the demon about his brother's death, but he just nodded in response before she could, evidently knowing of the death through her heart, but keeping his emotions in check for Naito's sake.
178.
179. However, not long after this, Audrey had found distressing news when she had gone to upgrade the Dream Weaver. She'd found that, during the time that the Otherworld broke out in the worlds, Stephan had heard about Audrey and her friends going to Silent Hill and, in his panic, went back to the town in order to get her out. Because of this, he had been trapped within the town since then, unable to leave due to being locked in a state known as "Full Circle." Despite having found her own closure with the town, Audrey still decided to go back to Silent Hill and look for her brother. With Sorin joining her, they once again dropped into the familiar foggy streets of the world, the timeline set during Silent Hill: Homecoming (a game which Audrey didn't bother to look up before her Interference, due to her biases). To her surprise, not only did they come across Isaac and Naito Zivaku, but Audrey had also reunited with Kalas, the Baten Kaitos protagonist having become an Interference himself. Unlike Sorin and herself, the other three had been called to the town for whatever trials it had for them, though less so with Isaac. The group of five made their way through the town, both to search for Audrey's brother as well as the protagonist of the current game in order to get through. Though it seemed like they had found the former Nightmare-wielder, he had told them off, saying it was Audrey's fault that he was stuck, and ran off into the depths of the fog. Audrey had been unable to chase after him; before everyone knew it, the Otherworld had broken out once more, and the Interferences were captured by the Order, this sect belonging to the town of Shepherd's Glen, the same town that they had taken Douglas Cartland to recover. As it turned out, even this sect was aware of the worlds and their place in the game, in part with Audrey's Interference as well as Stephan constantly wandering around, and they were attempting to find a way out to the other worlds to spread their influence. They attempted to torture the information out of the Interferences to do this, but with the help of the game's protagonist, Alex Shepherd, they had managed to escape, Audrey reuniting once more with Douglas due to him being captured and tortured as well. In the end, they had managed to escape, Kalas and Naito being faced with their personal trials before they rejoined the heroes. Though Audrey couldn't save her brother, she had left it on a scornful note, that him getting stuck in the town was his own fault. As they all left the town, the Dream Mage said one last goodbye to the old detective, leaving on the word that, should they ever find Cheryl again, to let her know that he was alive and well, but the Order might still be after her.
180.
181. In order to forget that venture, both Audrey and Sorin went to Radiant Garden, where they ran into Louis Delgado and, for the first time for the Dream Mage, Alexander Karsath, the Original Interference. There, they found that Alex was trying to find more information on the Kingdom Hearts universe, in part with the Heartless continuing to roam the worlds and getting progressively worse, as well as to find out more about his weapon, the Lockshield. As they found a little bit of information regarding the prequel game, Birth By Sleep, they were suddenly confronted by a mysterious armored figure who wielded a Lockshield of his own, simply telling them that they would find answers in the Keyblade Graveyard. Though assuming it to be a trap, with Louis' sister Mary appearing and telling them such (Louis having gone off somewhere at this point), they had gone anyway, having no other leads.
182.
183. There, after traversing the desert and passing many of the dead Keyblades, they found at the last minute that it was indeed a trap. However, as Audrey had found, it wasn't just for Alexander. The minute the Original Interference suddenly disappeared, the Dream Mage had caught sight of something, and was supposedly dragged off by Sorin to see what it was. However, the minute she was taken further away, 'Sorin' disappeared, the illusion lifted and Audrey suddenly being incapacitated and taken away to a different section of the Graveyard. Quickly freeing herself, she found that her assailant was a (in her eyes) very handsome man that she had never met, but held all of the traits that she had found attractive: tall, long-haired, dressed classy and expensively, and speaking with a great deal of charisma. However, aside from the fact that this man was against her, she then discovered who he really was when he showcased his powers, much to her horror. With his glowing red eye having fabricated the previous illusion, and wielding not only dangerous black flames, but also the Nightmare spells that Stephan once wielded, she had found that this was her brother's personal monster, now in full consciousness. The revelation horrifying her a great deal, this 'man', Ignis Fatuus as he called himself, had taken his advantage, beating her down with his spells. A few times, she had thought she'd taken the upper hand, but then he would have it blow up in her face, quite literally at that. Despite her best efforts, she was rendered helpless and incapacitated by Ignis once more, this time unable to fight back in her weakened state. The manifestation had given an offer then, to allow the chance for her and her friends to be left alone, provided she did one favor for him. What that was had been implied by him pointing out her attraction towards him. Despite admitting such, she was also disturbed to feel such towards the 'monster', and thus flat out refused in disgust. In turn, Ignis took her to a high cliffside and, responding to her refusal, surrounded her in flames, severely and fatally burning her alive. The agony had been too much for her to bear, rendering her catatonic as she suffered nearly first-degree burns from head to toe. With Ignis expressing disappointment that it ended so soon, she was dropped from several feet above, just motionlessly falling...
184.
185. However, it was not the end. In her comatose state, she was facing nightmares of her own, of many struggles to come. A lover's disappearance, painful ventures into the subconscious of several with her own creating more obstacles, lost to darkness, and falling victim to a raging blizzard. However, following this was a disembodied voice calling to her, telling of her dreams given form and her heart longing to soar, that she must 'fall before she rises again'. Her nightmares had turned to uplifting dreams; the lover had returned, the minds of the tortured souls restored by her magic with her struggles kept at bay, finding her way through the darkness, and revitalized from the cold. Then, she soared high and above, on wings that she had always dreamed of having, and reached the sun high above. Winding up in her Station, she had discovered the new form she had taken, the form of the Dreamer, her potential with her Dream magic realized. With this, she awoke from her trauma-induced coma, her magic fully revitalizing her and, just like in her dream, soared on magic wings back to the high cliffside, taking on Ignis Fatuus once more. This time, she had taken the upper hand, the manifestation flustered to all that was going wrong for him, and her countering his malevolent powers with her benevolent spells, avoiding his illusions entirely, and her wings carrying her away when Ignis teleported to throw her off. In the end, she defeated the aptly-titled "Nightmare Illusionist," forcing him to retreat in his fury. Reverting back, Audrey almost fell back to unconsciousness, in new magical garments in place of the clothes that were damaged by the burning. Despite this, she reunited with the real Sorin and the rest of their allies, finding that the Original Interference had faced an alternate version of himself, from a left-over future from the War, and obtained a book called "Xehanort's Report" upon his defeat. With their victors and their coming here having purpose after all, Audrey had gone on her own once more. In spite of an uplifted spirit from realizing the extent of her powers, she was now on the lookout for Ignis Fatuus, the Nightmare Illusionist having made himself a personal enemy with the horrors she had faced, as well as being one of the reasons her brother was trapped in Silent Hill.
186.
187. Coming to the world of God of War in the time of the last level of the original game, Audrey met with not only Isaac and Naito once more, but also Cheryl "Heather" Mason, returned from her brief retirement. After a good-natured reunion, the group suffered from a painful "transfer to the Underworld" (i.e. dying again), and fought their way back out, with Isaac gaining skill in a new kind of magic along the way. Due to the aid of a heavenly "grave digger," the quartet exited the hellish domain and allowed the violent protagonist on his way. However, instead of aiding him in his fight, they found a later version of him fighting against Atropos, one of the Sisters of Fate, on a stone statue's horizontal sword. Aiding Sora (who was on the other side of a nearby Fate-created temporal portal near the end of the second game) in fighting both her and one of her sisters, Lahkesis, the reunion turned sour when Sora revealed Greg's death to Naito, leading to him running away. On Audrey's advice, Sora went off to find Jasmine, and help calm him down, but the group otherwise split up after that, with Cheryl leaving with Audrey, and the others going their separate ways.
188.
189. The two friends had returned to Twilight Town, Audrey taking to a minor shopping spree (much to Cheryl's exasperation) and buying a beret to match with her new clothes. Afterwards, they conversed, Audrey helping the Silent Hill protagonist get up to speed on things, but also warning her about the Order possibly being after her again, and the hellish manifestation known as Ignis Fatuus. They parted ways once more after that, Cheryl going to see Isaac, Audrey feeling a growing attraction between the two, though not saying anything. Following this, the Dream Mage met up with Sorin in Castle Oblivion, initially going for training. As she began to explain what she had gone through, including mentioning Cheryl's return, they were suddenly attacked by a new enemy, a "Ghost" that called itself a "Wraith," who turned out to be a corruption of the Assassin Nobody. In the ensuing fight, the Wraith had brought them down for a moment, almost bringing Audrey to suffer the memory of her rampage when it "sensed" her murderous self. However, it was then defeated when the Solar Samurai had gone into a new form of his own, called "Samurai Form." Though the encounter had brought the Dream Mage to start doubting herself, Sorin had decided to take her out somewhere nice in order to cheer her up. They chose the fated world of Traverse Town for this, intending to make a better memory in place of the traumatizing experience. Dressing up formally, they dined in an expensive restaurant and then danced to the music that began to play. Although she had felt they were being watched, feeling a familiar darkness, she thought nothing more of it, content to enjoy the moment with her long-time boyfriend. In the end, they returned to her apartment that night, sharing the full extent of their feelings after being together for so long, their relationship now changed from boyfriend and girlfriend to lovers.
190.
191. However, following that romantic night, Sorin had suddenly disappeared, the Dream Mage unable to track him down. Though she was worried, she tried not to let it get to her, traveling on her own for the time being. Entering Space Paranoids on a whim, Audrey found herself in a broken up version of the world, under attack from multiple hostile forces from alternate worlds. With some information from Tron and Azumi Ian (who had become an Interference herself), she, Naito, Zero, Damien Reid, and Isaac (who she met up with within the world itself) worked to try to solve the problem: a crazed, pseudo-rampant K1-R4. Through the use of her Dream Walker spell, Audrey managed to transport all of them within her fractured mind, but the digital makeup made it difficult, splitting the group into teams. One of those teams was herself and Isaac, following a depressed, younger Kira with a case of mistaken identity for the duo, calling Audrey "Cortana" and Isaac after her own dismantled partner, 54-1N. On the way, Audrey learned about Isaac's feelings for Cheryl, along with his resurrection of Greg through his own means in a nicer form than he once was. The worst of the trip, however, was in the horrific incarnation of an incorporated viral firewall in the form of a quasi cosmic horror that sang of pain and tearing people to shreds happily, as well as multiple memories of Kira's involving both the Gravemind and her painful incorporation with 54-1N due to a crazed Greg. Although they eventually defeated not only the Firewall, but also the more sentient "Marathon Eva" of the War era locked within Kira's mind and other viruses, Kira's reconstruction of both herself and the world of Space Paranoids with herself as the guardian of the inter-dimensional portal within the central core would take a lot of time. At the end of it, while she did forgive Isaac for his transgressions, Audrey still had in mind to seek out Greg to make him understand the horrors of his own actions and the pain he had caused Kira to make her the way she is.
192.
193. She returned to Twilight Town, trying to relax from what she'd been going through. However, just when she thought she could, she had heard of the Scarecrow causing terror in the otherwise peaceful town. Even more, when she tried to seek out the Batman villain, he had been right under her nose and, after tricking her to believing he was normal, injected her and the werewolf Abigail Wallace with his fear toxin. Once more, she had been reminded of her massacre, trapped in a hallucination of all of her friends killed by her own hands. However, she managed to find her resolve and fight back against the Scarecrow alongside Abigail. Though they had managed to defeat him, he retreated, leaving her with even more psychological scars than she could deal with. She stayed in her home after that, trying to rest up, but the traumas she had faced kept her from getting the proper sleep that she needed, suffering many nightmares. And to add even more to her problems, she still heard no word from Sorin.
194.
195. Eventually, Cheryl had made a visit to talk with the Dream Mage, having to see her in her sorry state. They relayed their painful encounters, Audrey explaining her own while Cheryl revealed that she had been confronted by Ignis Fatuus for the first time, explaining the painful illusions and his stealing her first kiss away. After that, she had revealed the boy trouble that she had been dealing with Isaac, Audrey already hearing of this from the demon, and that Valtiel was in her subconscious, still intending to bring the God back once again. The Dream Mage helped to the best of her abilities, relaying the time she had helped bring her and Sorin together and advising to give it a shot before she could decide. Just when Cheryl had asked how she and Sorin were doing on that note, they were suddenly interrupted by Kalas, who brought them distressing news. Sorin had been hypnotized by a woman named Dani, along with a canine companion of the one-winged hero's. Together, the three chased after them to the fated world of Traverse Town. While Cheryl and Kalas fought the hypnotist and the demon dog, Audrey had been forced to fight Sorin, who, in a sudden bout of anger from Dani, had been given the order to kill her on the spot, the roles they had been in before now in reverse. The Dream Mage managed to knock him out, using her Dream Walker spell once more to bring him out of it. Though she had freed him, she found that her subconscious tried to break through and interrupt the process, her old monsters once again attacking. She managed to overcome this as she freed her lover, just as one of her dreams had entailed. Though Dani escaped and Sorin was feeling down about his uncontrolled attack on her and their friends, Audrey consoled him, reminding him of how he helped her out of her berserker state. With this, they moved on, Audrey's psychological traumas forgotten with the Solar Samurai beside her.
196.
197. However, not long after this, Audrey had suddenly encountered Ignis Fatuus after so long, being invited to dinner by the Nightmare Illusionist to discuss things. Despite her fear and hatred of the man, she still allowed herself to meet with him to see what he wanted. There, he gave another offer to leave her and her friends be, one that didn't involve unwanted sexual interaction, and revealed his idea of running his own business in the worlds. But first, he needed to take care of an "infestation" of Heartless in a building in Radiant Garden, and asked for her help in clearing them out, telling her he would name the business after her as a 'compliment' if she did this for him. Despite not trusting him, Audrey still agreed to the task, wanting the manifestation to just leave her and her friends alone. Arriving at the place, the Dream Mage went to take care of the supposed infestation, though Ignis had left her alone. Though she thought she'd been fighting off Heartless, Ignis then returned with the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee, and lifted the illusion that he placed while her guard was down. To her horror, she had found that she instead killed many innocent civilians, the Traverse Town massacre once again replaying in her mind. With no way to explain herself, she was forced to leave by the RGRC on the word to not come back, taking the word of 'Ignazio D'Aleo' over her own, filled with further disgust that the Nightmare Illusionist took the name of her grandfather on her mother's side.
198.
199. She returned to her home on that note, dismayed and once again traumatized by her unknowing actions. But then, Ignis had followed her to rub more salt in her wounds, 'thanking' her for the help and then telling her upfront that his promise was all a lie, mocking her for even trusting him in the first place. Enraged, Audrey attacked with blinded violence, but the Nightmare Illusionist had overpowered her with his spells once more, about to take it even further. Sorin had intervened before it got too far, forcing Ignis to retreat. With the Solar Samurai at her side, Audrey broke down once more, telling him what the hellish manifestation had made her do, Sorin comforting her and swearing to kill the villainous man for what he did to her. Even though the committee soon contacted her, letting her know that they believed she wasn't entirely at fault, allowing her to come back to Radiant Garden whenever she needed to, and that they would keep a watch on 'Ignazio', it did nothing to stop the further emotional scars.
200.
201. In the midst of her sorrow following that event, Audrey and Sorin found out about the kidnapping of Cheryl and Kalas by Ignis, courtesy of both Kira and Isaac's information. Apparently Ignis had formed a group known as "the Collective", which consisted of himself, Dani, Scarecrow, and a "Rikka Masami", and had, through a contract to protect the Zivaku family and their romantic partners from their wrath, forced Azumi to work for them in subjugation. With the aid of Scarecrow, who knew that Ignis' capture of Cheryl went against said contract, the group found the two captives, who had been dressed in new outfits befitting the mind-destroying illusions that they had been placed in. Though once more with her subconscious trying to stop her, Audrey freed them both (and the connected Xelha) through Dream Walker. Although the saviors escaped with their charges, they were forced to leave Azumi behind as per her contract, leaving her fate at the hands of an enraged Ignis of debatable quality, to say the least. Following this, however, was coming across a heavily-injured and amnesiac Cheryl not long after that incident, having been attacked by a possessed Kalas. Though she had fixed the problem, restoring the Holy Mother's memories and bringing Alessa Gillespie to take precedence in her mind, the trip had brought not only her subconscious to once again attack her, but also the horrors from the minds of those around her. For this, she knew she had to find a better way to control her troubled mind whenever she went into the dreams of her friends.
202.
203. Wanting to have more training with her Dream Magic for this, Audrey went to the Mysterious Tower to visit Yen Sid. There, she found out that the latest facet of the Kingdom Hearts story was underway, that of a trip into the Sleeping Worlds. Since Yen Sid had been expecting her, he allowed her to follow Sora, Riku, and even Kairi into the Sleeping Worlds to unlock them from sleep. She followed the trio, though differing concerns led to her and Sora traveling together while Riku and Kairi traveled within their dreams. During their journey, Audrey made some minor changes to the events she and Sora went into, most notably saving "Rinzler" from falling into the abyss CLU made for him after their battle in the Grid. While Sora was followed around by Xemnas, Riku was followed by Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, and Kairi was followed by Lidia, Audrey herself was followed through the worlds by none other than Xigbar, who toyed with her while the young Xehanort tore down facets of her and Sora's hearts to make them more susceptible to darkness over time.
204.
205. When Sora was forced to Drop in The World That Never Was, she was as well, separately brought along on her own path by Xigbar, who had been watching her since his defeat at the hands of the Keybladers and Lea years before on behalf of the True Organization XIII. In his own, roundabout way, he explained the mechanics of what they were going through, and how it was okay to just let the dreams take over, since it wasn't going to matter much in the long run, given she was in two separate comas. Her first memory seen was that of her encounter with Claudia Wolf alongside Douglas in the Lakeside Amusement Park, where Xigbar was revealed to have explained her nature to Claudia the minute she Interfered, hence why she was also attacked before, but not killed for being useless. It also turned out that this was why she had obtained the Hyper Blaster before, as Xigbar had left it there for her to obtain. As she was attacked, she shifted to another memory: her death in the Jade Empire, which showed her weakness and inability to fight the inevitable, along with the fact that the creation of Dani, who turned out to be the manifestation of her Rage all along, was her own fault. At the moment of death, she went to yet another recollection, that of her Ritual of Binding that Isaac forced upon her soul, again showing her powerlessness. The last memory seemed to be to try to break her spirit again, this time her massacre in Traverse Town where she was easily controlled by Dani. All of these memories, along with mentions of several instances of her emotional weaknesses and manipulations, served to enrage her aside from weaken her will, and she eventually was let go by Xigbar, left to charge through the memories of the worlds, chasing after her close friends; such as Sorin, Cheryl, Kalas, and even her infuriated brother; who all led her to the base of the broken down Memory Skyscraper. There, she fought with Xigbar, who had access to his full abilities from his time as Braig. Though she defeated him, it was only just, and the rage, humiliation, and fear took their toll on her. Falling into darkness, she saw both him and the young Xehanort, who urged her to just sleep forever.
206.
207. Although she was not aware of it at the time, she was meant as a backup plan in case Xehanort could not corrupt the Original Interference or his sister in to being an agent out in the real world. Comatose, she was nearly turned into another Xehanort by replacing her heart with a copy of his, but the intervention of Akyra prevented that as Lea did the same with Sora. That done, she was left as a spare vessel, a remaining possibility with the darkness of Xehanort still altering her to give her added capabilities in spite of not being made into a full vessel at the time. Just as one of the nightmares she'd faced before, she was lost in darkness, the shell Akyra used to protect her corrupted into a Nightmare and taking form of a monstrous harpy. However, while Riku Dropped into Sora's heart to rescue him from his own darkness, Kairi had Dropped into hers to do the same, battling the Nightmare with its powerful wind abilities. As the Princess of Heart managed to defeat the monstrosity, Audrey was freed from her prison, and Kairi got a glimpse of the dream world she had made so long ago, which now incorporated her most uplifting memories into the paradise. As well, Kairi had also met with the three figures Audrey had met in her Awakening; the Crow, the Owl, and the Dove, who were all still a mystery, but now beginning to take form; as well as speaking with Akyra over her potential with her Dream magic. With Kairi unlocking that potential in her heart, Audrey had awoke, freed from the darkness.
208.
209. However, unlike the ever-optimistic Sora, the Dream Mage didn't find it in her to celebrate along with his friends. What she had faced in the forced Drop had brought too many emotional scars to resurface, her doubts in her being an Interference once again coming to fruition. Though she had thanked Kairi for saving her, as well as congratulating Riku for passing the exam and being named a true Keyblade Master (as well as being surprised by Lea's sudden use of his own Keyblade), she'd left on a sour note, contemplating just giving up on Interfering herself. With her friends and Sorin unable to bring her out of her slump, she just wandered the worlds without a clear goal.
210.
211. But giving up would not be the case, as it turned out. Following the events of the Sleeping Worlds, Audrey had found herself on a mysterious desert world, embarking on another journey (literally, as that was the title of the game). Exploring the desolate, but beautiful world, her doubts were once again washed away and her spirit was brought out of its sadness, her confidence returned to light. Though she had died a third time on the world, struggling against a fierce blizzard like her final nightmare entailed, she was revived by the ancestral spirits of the world, sent to the heavenly destination and returning to the beginning after crossing the light. Her effort was rewarded with a white cloak; though it was without power outside of the world, Audrey kept it as a memento to not give up; as well as the powers of the magic cloths in the world integrated into her magical garments and making her lighter. With that, Audrey continued out in the worlds, her resolve and confidence restored. She followed this venture by going to Halloween Town, having not done so for her entire Interference despite being a huge fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas, and arrived just as Jack Skellington was dealing with the return of Oogie Boogie. She aided the Pumpkin King in stopping his nemesis once more, and was rewarded by Santa Claus with a present that contained a Summon Gem in order to call for Jack's help anytime she needed it.
212.
213. Audrey then visited the world of Dishonored, along with fellow Interferences Isaac, Azumi, Greg, and Nicole. There, they began to help the assassin Corvo with one of his missions when Audrey instinctively used her Dream Walker ability, accidentally ending up in the domain of the Outsider known as the Void. There, the Outsider greeted her, and granted her new, wind-based powers, along with giving her a deck of tarot cards seemingly based off of figures from the Outsider's homeworld. After awakening, she tested out her new abilities, and later rejoined the others to continue their mission. It was successful, with the target even being taken out non-lethally (though given an arguably worse fate). With the mission complete, and not wanting to run the chance of meeting the Outsider again, Audrey left for new worlds.
214.
215. For now, Audrey is finding more adventures on other worlds, her psychological scars kept at bay with a more brighter outlook. Gone is the troubled girl who wanted to escape, and in its place is a young woman who uses her improved Dream powers to create benevolent dream worlds for those close to her. Though seeking to stop Ignis Fatuus and the rest of the Collective, as well as possibly saving her brother from the forces of Silent Hill, the Dream Mage is more focused on being with her friends and her lover, more open and confident than she had been before.
