The plot sucks and goes nowhere until the last 30 seconds.
The first third is literally ripped off from a Futurama episode.

I swear if this isn't the crappiest attempt at gas lighting i've ever seen in this general.

I legit don't know what the fk you're talking about, that one scene was the only time the animation didn't look super high quality.

Actually there is a few more but really it seems less like "oh shtty editing" and more like "guy who was editing the knife scene is good with action framing but has no idea how to frame lip sync" sorta mistake.

Outside of that it really doesn't hold back the episode too much.

Honestly I thought the episode was good, but holy sht yeah some of the choppy scenes were so bad it really took me out of the experience.

I hope they give the animators more time in the future.

Seems like the whole episode was specifically built around Norman Sneedus, with the best moments animation wise only coming around when he was on screen. Otherwise this was a pretty meh episode, both in terms of the episodes humor and plot.
So far for this series i'd rate each episode from best to worst:

The animation of the episode was the most inconsistent among the episodes to date. It ranged from excellent (such as the revolver twirl at the end) to choppy and fuzzy (zoom in on millie's parents or the microphone transition).

The plot was nothing inspiring for the most part, although the introduction of Stella being the one to order the assassination of Stolas was an interesting twist, albiet I don't know if the show is taking it seriously since she's screaming it in front of Stolas.

The episode also dropped in some nice little lore tidbits, mostly confirmation that Angelic firearms and bullets actually exist, wars have occurred in Hell, reaffirming the low social position of the Imps and that angelic artefacts have been used in technological advancement in Hell.

I'd say its one of the better episode.
