"I'll give you the warning that you have requested Atlas, I'm going to cut you on the cheek, it won't hurt."

She takes out her scalpel, funny enough, forged by Rain. A small part of the cheek would be delicately cut to extract a sample of blood. Lucky enough, she had a vial to contain the blood.

"Alright I have the sample, direct me as needed Erika, Atlas is a man that fights for the people, his efforts won't be tainted for being felled while doing that duty."

[00:25] "I'm quite positive it's a biological agent but --" She paused, withdrawing an urn, as well as several candles. "If you wish, I shall instruct you upon exorcism. If your holy magic is not strong enough however be warned it may weaken you more than it may affect Atlas here." She gestured.

With that said...?

The Noble would begin to place the candles down around Atlas, one by one before the ash was sprinkled outwards upon the ground around the candles in order to form a proper circle with him. She backed out from the circle, motioning for Seven to step into it.

"Repeat the prayers precisely - or else it'll fail." She said. She still had little faith it would work regardless, however.

"Exorcizamus you omnis immundus spiritus... Immundus spiritus, immundus spiritus," She began, her hands coming together to clasp in prayer.

"The exorcism itself is akin to walking through purging fire - ifyou survive, you'd be freed of your shackels of Occultism," She warned. However those chants continued, no doubt expecting Seven to repeat them. Memorize them, even.

"Libera me, Domine, de morte æterna... Dum veneris judicare saeculum per ignem… Dum veneris judicare saeculum per ignem. Hanc volui tecum pie varius. Custodi illam defendat eius. Haec ratio quondam a te scrupulus extrudi sineret tenebris magicae sunt et omnium."

[00:30] She steps into the and sits down, she wasn't going to be deterred by this... It was her duty now, as the Head of the current version of the church. She begins to breath deeply, focusing the holy energies in her core and condensing them.

She was going to have to focus, but the words she spoke would be burned into her memory, they had to be if she wanted to uphold her new duties.

Her voice was sultry to the ear, and spoke with conviction, doing the best she could to be part of absolving Atlas with his affliction...

"You did well Atlas, it will all be over soon and you will be able to move past this as a man who fought for the meek."

She takes off her blindfold and recites the prayers.

[00:32] Séven says, "I'll start again."
[00:34] With her mistake, she could already feel her very essence crack...the feeling was one that she had never experienced before, she winced in the pain as her body felt drained more than she anticipated.

She takes a deeper breath, doing her best not to make a mistake again.

[00:34] Andrew enters the Church it gave off a ominous feeling today, but what was causing this feeling? Traveling towards the foul feeling being masked by a stronger holy one.
The young man appeared in front of Atlas, Lady Erika, and Leader of Faith.

Suddenly

He remembers what they spoke about awhile ag, what was this chant they were doing? Either way Andrew had Faith they were taking the proper sets needed.

He'd stand off to the side with his staff at again, giving off a strong presence of Cosmic magic within him. Unsure if Vorna couldn't assist him here.

The young man didn't speak; however, this was a goo learning experience for him. The powers that holy mages possessed were amazing to combat corruption.

But

Couldn't he figure a way to channel his cosmic magic in such a way? To form his star into a healing factor used to combat this foul magic? Only time would really tell, but for now the young man remains impressed.

[00:40] Erika was silent, standing outside that circle she had formed, watching as Seven would attempt to perform the very exorcism she herself had done twice now. It wasn't an easy process - it was something which drained one of their energy even when it was performed properly.

However the Noble was quick to point out the woman's mistake, giving her ample opportunity to try again, and try again she does.

The wicks of the candles set alight by themselves, by the power of her very words - and the barrier formed which encased both Seven and Atlas within it's confines. This was why Erika stepped out, and bid Seven to step inside instead. If she wished to learn what better way than by hand?

For Atlas - he'd feel a mass amount of pain, more so than before, and Seven hadn't even truly begun!

"Put your hand on his head - and focus your holy magic into his mana circuits. Find the spots where that Occultism sits, and attempt to demolish it." She instructed from the outside. "Do not waver. It won't end well for you if you do."

Truthfully...? Erika knew it wouldn't be successful. She was just waiting for it to fail.

[00:45] Atlas listened in a half trance, being in the holy church with all this holy magic and rituals around him was hurting him greatly. He stayed silent as he gritted his teeth. He stared directly at Seven.

As the magic began to spread he let out a grown as he flexed and tried to move his body as it burned across him. Trapped by the confines he fought against them as the magic burned through him. He could speak no words, just thrash and groan, everything faded in and out, he maintained consciousness as the pain washed over him

He began to grow accustomed to the pain, as Erika mentioned that Seven had to continue he closed his eyes, bracing for whatever magic energy would be pushed through him in a vain attempt to cleanse the stain within his own blood.

She would refrain to her lesser phrase, this was much more difficult than she anticipated, and the pain that he felt...she could only feel the echoes and her body crumbled to the ground... onto her knees.

"This is...by the stars"

She got up and steeled herself, she was going to have to focus even more intently, she had to push herself if she wanted to justify her position...

If she was to lead this church, she had to exorcise when it was needed, and she could not falter.

She focused deep within herself, feeling the light swell in her heart and soul and this time, without doubt inside she moved forward into the circle.

She places her hand on his head, caressing him gently and continued.

"I'm sorry Atlas, it's going to be over soon."

[00:57] Atlas would no doubt feel that overwhelming pain continue, even as Seven placed her hand upon his head. For Seven? It was less pain she experienced and more general draining of her energy. As if she hadn't slept.

Holy magic enabled their users to keep going even past where others had grown weak and tired... But this? This was altogether different. It had left her weak, barely unable to stand on her own. Eustace had always been there to help her. But now...? The Exarch was helping another try to learn the process.

The Verona virus that Veles developed was particularly disgusting - and it made no movement. It was either too strong to properly exorcise... or Seven lacked the power to do so. Perhaps a mixture of both? Regardless, Erika seemed as if she had seen enough.

"Stop." She said, all at once. "You aren't going to get anywhere like this. You're going to cause him further pain and exhaust yourself in the process." She explained, her hands now pocketing themselves within her jacket. "But you know the basic premise of it. You need to demolish the occultism within their circuits using your holy magic as your sword. It will be painful for them, and they may get injured from it, but it's worth it in the end."

[01:07] Atlas braces against his constraints, it wouldn't hurt that bad I mean he'd already lost both his eyes and- Atlas' thoughts were interrupted by the searing pain within him.

As a fire mage he was used to heat, but not inside of him He let out a roar as he tilted his head back clenching and locking every muscle in his body. He strained against the constraints draining even more energy from Seven

He took the Searing holy magic in waves as it washed over him. He twitched violently and thrashed, He felt every inch of his body being seared... perhaps this is what it would take to cleanse him.

Then Erika spoke. There wasn't any chance it would seem, as Seven slowly stopped infusing him with energy his body would shudder as he breathed heavily, in immense pain from the surge of Holy magic.

He slowly breathed in choking a few words out, "I-I shouldn't have been caught, Look what I've done to myself" He grimaced in pain, and shame, by losing to the group of demons that had hunted him, he had been tainted, what kind of watchman was he? The blood of the monsters he hunted, now ran through his veins, for the rest of his existence.

Atlas laid on the ground, partially in shock from the pain, and partially because he had no reason to get up, maybe the demons had finally done what they wanted, broken him.

[01:08] Andrew continue to watch the holy mages work to combat the foul magic, but could they really do it? Andrew has used his cosmic magic in the past to burn occult magic from people injuries, so it no longer affects this, but this was something completely different.

Andrew had to gather his thoughts and remember that the Church was a place of strong Faith and anything was possible. Learning, Seeking, Obtaining knowledge were all things the young man sought out in his life.

People believe in the Church and their ability to deal with situations like this..

Andrew continued to watch still trying to understand the process of removing the foul magic completely. He could apply this to his own magic if he understood how it truly works.
