  1.
  2. [13:21] Upon noticing Olivia's awakening, the undead rose from his seat.. Its form floated just above the ground, while dissonant whispers emanated from its vessel.. Meanwhile, ripples that shook reality were caused with its movement.
  3.
  4. As expected, of something like him.
  5.
  6. He was already approaching the door and was about to yank it out of place with tendrils that were emerging from his back, when suddenly.. Luna opened the path for him.
  7.
  8. Great.
  9.
  10. And then, the undead entered the cell.
  11.
  12. "Olivia.. You're really unlucky, aren't you? You should have taken the deal we offered you, it would be far better - look how things turned out due to your actions!
  13.
  14. Honestly, it's a shame." His hand was raised and due to the collar and the fact that she was weakened, the being would just grab her without much difficulty.
  15.
  16. Grabbing the Cirque by the face and lifting her into the air, before with his free hand he breached time and space, opening a rift in reality - a portal, which would lead them to Mort Donjon.
  17.
  18. "Time to return to where this situation started, isn't it right?" He spoke as he moved.. A black tentacle emerging from his back and then wrapping Luna around the waist!
  19.
  20. Dragging her along with him into the rift.
  21.
  22. She would see it through to the end.
  23. (Nidaz)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. [13:36] Silence governs the atmosphere of the cell, jade hues perched on the skeleton. Without the coordinant voice of Saternus, her eyes widened towards unease, disgust — evident churn of dissonance on a staid cognizance.
  27. (Olivia Cirque)
  28. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  29.
  30. [13:41] Gray lits his pipe and watches archlich taking decisions and guard his safety with death gaze towards Olivia.
  31. (Gray Umbra)
  32. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  33.
  34. [13:42] Luna was but opening a cell moments ago, before the Lich decided to simply take things to the very place they had begun.
  35.
  36. A tendril latching onto her and bringing the red-head alongside, to Mort Donjon itself as to be a witness to the unfurling pandemonium.
  37.
  38. For now, she just followed and watched silently once making it into the throne room, Whatever Nidaz had in store for her was perhaps.. Something unlike what she had seen in her life.
  39.
  40. A relatively short one too, in the great scheme of things.
  41. (Luna Vorso)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [13:51] Crossing the lifestream was clearly a disconcerting thing, not so great, nauseating even - it had always been this way for the unaccustomed and so it would never change.. At least, over the colossal dragon's back they arrived and into the dark fortress they went.
  45.
  46. And before the great throne room, they stopped..
  47.
  48. And at the epicenter of the place, undead would arrive - servants who would hold Olivia by the arms as she remained on her knees before the undead king.
  49.
  50. And in that, it was time to speak.
  51.
  52. "During our years of life, we have always sought to help mortals - we always offered our services, in exchange for something.. Making the infamous deals.
  53.
  54. It was something good, something beneficial for both parties involved and something far more respectful than that offered by deities.. Now, we've never had a problem with that, we've never been denied!
  55.
  56. Or even attacked over it.
  57.
  58. Until now." His speech began, a spectral sound that echoed in the halls filled with undead abominations, "Yes.. It happened.. And here is a person, who not only refused, but also... Attacked us.
  59.
  60. She abused our hospitality, ignored the truth that was revealed to her and in the end.. She preferred to choose a foolish path, than the one that would guarantee her eternity.
  61.
  62. Time, over anything." As he spoke, the being floated around the room.. From side to side..
  63.
  64. The dissonant whispers here are much more present, much more audible - for such, laughed at the moment.. They were amused with the situation and ready, to even offer deals to those present.. Summoning their names, at various times.
  65.
  66. "That's why today.. We will subjugate her to our will, we will demonstrate what happens to traitors, people who abuse our good will.
  67.
  68. What happens to those who spit on our face.. When we just wanted to help!" As he said this the being would approach the fountain near the entrance.
  69.
  70. His skeletal hand was thrusted into this and he would start molding that emerald ether, form somethin with it.. Indeed, he was creating something in that instant, that would be used.
  71. (Nidaz)
  72. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  73.
  74. [13:51] Gray Umbra says, "*s gaze st"
  75. [13:52] Gray s gaze still observes Olivia's actions.
  76. (Gray Umbra)
  77. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  78.
  79. [13:54] {Item} You picked up Garden Tea. Dropped by Virion..
  80. [14:07] Strained breaths coincide with the languorous motion of mana from her cold digits. Little recognition is given to her present state -- coordinate with the light of cardinal stars, it is the least she can do in her death throes to raise, standing, in anticipation of what was to come.
  81.
  82. The expression which dwells on her cognizance was terrifying.
  83. (Olivia Cirque)
  84. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  85.
  86. [14:19] The being's hand moved and then squeezed the ether caught in the fountain, in moments.. It solidified and then, from that well, an emerald gem was taken! One and only one, Void Soul Stone.
  87.
  88. Created from the same energies of the undead.
  89.
  90. "We've always found the aspect of stealing souls disgusting, terrible - we said we wouldn't do that! Never.. But we're pretty hypocritical about it.
  91.
  92. So for that, we are sorry." And with the gem in hand, he returned to Olivia..
  93.
  94. His free hand, in this case the right-was extended and then touched her forehead.. Ether was emanated once more and this, quickly began to invade the magical filaments of the woma - in a brutal and totally, despicable way for said circuits!
  95.
  96. Something, hideous.
  97.
  98. For not only would that cause insanity given the void that invaded her mind, it would also damage various parts of her body - which had veins glowing in the same hues as the being's mana.
  99.
  100. Interesting and.. Terrifying at the same time.
  101.
  102. "Then we will do the following.. Your soul, Olivia.. Now it belong to us, your eternity? It will be reduced to the confines of a gem, you will see everything and everyone you loved, succumb before you..
  103.
  104. Wither with time.
  105.
  106. You will see time pass before you, unable to do anything - move, scream.. Be rescued. Not even being able to die and go to the planes that the mortals go after their death, you won't go to the stars you worship so much.
  107.
  108. Yes.. yes.
  109.
  110. An end, more than worthy of traitors." As he spoke this part, his mana had already filled a good part of the magi's body - she could no longer move.. Nor talk, other than watch, feel and hear what was coming.
  111.
  112. And in the depths of its circuitry the lich would find, the white sphere that there resided.. A thing so pure and protected by a magical barrier placed by the angels, that didn't allow the Arch Lich to directly interact - but necromancy, involved the indirect act of manipulating souls..
  113.
  114. So.. There was no escape of the fate he reserved for her.
  115. (Nidaz)
  116. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  117.
  118. [14:39] Brought here to watch the fate of Olivia. A woman he knew vaguely well but as far as he could remember, not one he was beholden to. Her fate? Something left within the hands of this potent necromancer, this dark lich.
  119.
  120. "Mn.. so this is the powers you spoke of," different to his own magic, Nidaz was capable of grasping souls themselves, manipulating them, chaining them into gems and trinkets.
  121.
  122. Would even his ancestors be capable of something like this..?
  123. (Virion)
  124. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  125.
  126. [14:46] An unexpected sight amidst the flying castle, As Luna stole a glimpse of yet another familiar face but her attention didn't lingered for all too long.
  127.
  128. The lich was as crafty as he was powerful, his manipulation of ether possibly unmatched as Nidaz effortlessly solidified such mana into something completely different.
  129.
  130. A prison, of the soul..
  131.
  132. One that seeped that very same energy that encroached this whole castle to begin it, and every-single one of it's un-living denizens. Or perchance, immortal ones.
  133.
  134. Such mana soon at work, one of his hands making contact with Olivia's forehead as he clearly was yet again putting it to work, a painful overflow. A gruesome sight.
  135.
  136. As what made the woman herself was seemingly itched out of her being and preserved amidst the ether-rich gemstone. The Void Soul Stone itself.
  137.
  138. "..."
  139.
  140. Quiet, watchful, a bit of a grim reminder that such fate was brought forth by her own involvement into the Lich's affairs.. Was it for the best?
  141. (Luna Vorso)
  142. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  143.
  144. [14:51] As Gray stoods over there. The bloodlord in his inside starts to argue with Gray.
  145.
  146. Bloodlord='So Gray what we do about this situation?'
  147.
  148. Gray='What do you mean?'
  149.
  150. Bloodlord='I mean this woman about to turn into some trinket.'
  151.
  152. Gray='Yeah she deserved that. What you want me to do? Save her? No thanks.'
  153.
  154. Bloodlord='Why?'
  155.
  156. Gray='Cause I respect Nidaz ok! Now shut up please!'
  157.
  158. Bloodlord='Hmmm.'
  159.
  160. In Gray's mind this argument continues while they watching the Archlich.
  161. (Gray Umbra)
  162. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  163.
  164. [14:55] "I pity you." Astute rage alight in her eyes, balefulness — an assessment inducted by the heavens, that she, their sovereign, should be the better in all things. An ephemeral movement of her right, compulsed towards action by the stifling luminescence of her own soul, and thence directed towards her captor with deadly aim.
  165.
  166. "When Mikhail began his conquest, the lands were torn asunder; the seas lit on fire." Bereft a weapon, luster emanated in abundance.
  167.
  168. Her feet pitter patter on the granite floor, swift assisting the recovery of her remote.
  169.
  170. "If I cannot defeat the infirm and their attendants, how may I compare?"
  171. (Olivia Cirque)
  172. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  173.
  174. [15:04] A last ditch effort, at not only freeing herself but get back at her captor. Luna couldn't seemingly kept herself to the sidelines now, now when harm was coming her way amidst Olivia's efforts.
  175.
  176. Maybe she was indeed the obvious target, yet the collared woman was unarmed. But her magic perhaps exuded more than enough prowess in such a moment of peril that such things were nothing but mere contraptions.
  177.
  178. Her resolved shinning trough, in more than it's literal sense
  179.
  180. A familiar sight swung, distortion sheltering her from the reality of such a deadly aim meeting it's mark. Casting It asunder as it was readied to retaliate.
  181.
  182. A choice was made
  183.
  184. As little to no reply was muttered back, she was but the attendant, and right now?.. Advocating for her own well-being.
  185.
  186. "So be it.."
  187. (Luna Vorso)
  188. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  189.
  190. [15:19] Luna wasn't one to underestimate such foes, not when you already knew what to expect out of them.
  191.
  192. Be it collared or not, Olivia wasn't someone to be taken lightly. Luckily for the Vorso, despite the searing beams and boundless cosmic prowess that the Cirque wielded.
  193.
  194. She wasn't at her best
  195.
  196. Yet still a fair bit of harm was laid upon that mangled frame of hers, before her efforts where met by force
  197.
  198. Reality vexing and twisting until afterimages and unending rows of shades entwined themselves to her being, latching and bringing her down once again as the pole of the scythe was brought down.
  199.
  200. BANG!
  201.
  202. Blackened hands made out of a fine mist soon to wrap themselves and constrict her onto the floor, blood wiped away from the corners of Luna's own eyes and mouth as she pushed her boons to their limits, and her body not being and exception.
  203.
  204. A coughing fit overtaking her as she stepped back and simply kept Olivia in place, for Nidaz to finish what he had undertaken moments prior.
  205.
  206. "Huff..There.."
  207.
  208. She mustered out, catching her breath and for now not making an issue of the underlying weariness and burns. They where here with a purpose.
  209.
  210. As the Archlich's approach was now fully expected, to put a cork on that baleful gemstone he intended to fill to the brim with nothing but Olivia's very being.
  211. (Luna Vorso)
  212. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  213.
  214. [15:30] When he was about to complete the procedure, this execution.. In an outburst the woman reacted, fought for her life.. And in that, Luna intervened - so a conflict once again took place in the fortress of the eternal.
  215.
  216. How entertaining.
  217.
  218. But in the end, the old woman was defeated once more and such, held by the Vorso in front of the Eternal.. Who, now, would proceed with that 'ritual'.
  219.
  220. Finish it..
  221.
  222. "Ah, amusing.. Good work, young Luna." A comment was made, before the skeletal hand touched the woman once more - but now, it touched the epicenter of her chest.
  223.
  224. The mana continued to flow, even though it already filled a good part of the body and with the soul found.. The tendrils of ether enveloped the white sphere, starting to grab that essence, that thing of pure energy.
  225.
  226. Oh no..
  227.
  228. And with a simple movement, he began to rip the soul out of the magic circuits, out of her body.. A painful and time-consuming process, but in the end concluded.. Leaving behind an empty shell, the Cirque's body - while her soul was in the Lich's grasp.
  229.
  230. As expected.
  231.
  232. Following this, slowly he moved that sphere towards the gem.. Interconnecting it to the mana circuits of the same, and then finally - imprisoning the soul in its confines..
  233.
  234. Eternally.
  235.
  236. "And so comes the end of a tragic story... of someone who flew too close to the sun." And with the gem in hand, the figure returned his attention to the others..
  237.
  238. But nothing more was said... Because, even now... He would offer a minute of silence to the one who 'died'.. How tragic.
  239. (Nidaz)
  240.
  241. [15:39] Luna had been successful though, there is little surprise there. The woman was stronger than she looked, and more capable than she might think.
  242.
  243. As the winding ribbons of white from Circe's soul twists and shifts, there is a small smile that lifts the edge of Virion's lip. Amusement, entertainment, or simply amazement of such a magical act?
  244. (Virion)
  245. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  246.
  247. [15:42] Gray smiled for young Luna's efforts as he stood there. He drags from pipe and exhales sadly.
  248. (Gray Umbra)
  249.
  250. [16:21] "Plead to the firmament of the heavenly spheres. Scream and cry for forgiveness against this intransigence against their representative." Indurate movements, ambuscading towards the proper moment which culminated in the argent luminescence of the First Stars. A spiteful torrent of starlight comes sequential, burnished by the cataclysmic powers meted by Leonaus.
  251.
  252. She had overcome worse in the past — always, her own peerless aptitudes disposed her towards victorious conclusion. What flitted across her countenance throughout was as crushing an ant, calidity fixed instead towards her next opponent.
  253.
  254. "Mmm..."
  255.
  256. But this time, it was not so. Consequential to her position of vulnerability, the proclivities of age, injury, and inability, she fails upon the arrival of the internecine.
  257.
  258. "I will have my retribution," she strains.
  259.
  260. No.
  261.
  262. It was too late.
  263.
  264. Olivia is taken with the exhalations of the moment, tremendous palpitations prolonged towards indurate conclusion. Reality and prophecy variegated through her conscience mind and brimming with ire attenuated against the refutation.
  265.
  266. A life speckled with faith and wretchedness, forbearing to trifle with grief. Her eyes avert towards her left, weighting down. An abrupt ending.
  267.
  268. "Kraus above."
  269. (Olivia Cirque)
