THERE’S NO DOUBT THAT KEMONO FRIENDS 2 IS INDEED KEMONO FRIENDS

Anime Kemono Friends received considerable public criticism after episode 5 and 6 aired.

Kaban for some reason parted way with Serval and now in laboratory together with Professor Konoha and Assistant Mimi-chan researching about sandstar.

And Serval almost forget everything about Kaban.

Season 1 fan can’t take that matter easily. And of course that also cause me agonizing cry

But, I have deja vu about it. That’s because same thing happen in the previous product. it just almost anyone doesn’t realize it but in the previous product there is something correspond to this matter.

And to know about that, we must look back at Kemono Friends true origin, the smart phone game “Kemono Friends”
KEMONO FRIENDS GAME APPLICATION

Kemono Friends application (We’re going to called it the apps version from now on) was started on 16 March 2015, and this game who boasted more than 350 friends have amazing story line and even now it’s still have many hardcore fans.

For additional info, the user interface was really coarse.

In that apps version, the story begins with the protagonist was invited by park guide Mirai during japari park temporary closure.
According to Mirai-san, right now the park are being controlled by mysterious living things called “Celien”.

The protagonist objective is befriending “friends”, extermination Cellien while exploring the park and recover it from them.

Serval, Caracal, Crested Ibis, Lulu, White Rhinoceros, Silver Fox; with each increasing friend the protagonist continue their journey.

But again and again Cellien who similar with Serval called Cerval shows herself and increase the power of Boss Cellien in each area hindering their path.

But, Cerval is controlled by Cellien queen and the truth is she wants to become friend with Serval; And every time they meet each other, their friendship increase.
Finally the group arrives in Cellien’s queen citadel but the sparkle delivered by Cerval herself to the Cellien Queen has been stole by her; Even now Cerval starts to vanish. Cerval then asks Serval to erase her.

Looking at that scene, Serval screams “Cerval… … Cerval… … you are my friend!”
After that, miracle happened. The little bit of sparkle left inside Cerval responds to Serval’s feeling and produces new sparkle.

And together with many precious friends, Cerval that has become friend defeated the queen!

After that peace come to Japari Park; In no time the protagonist start being called as park director; The park moves with certainty towards reopening and before long Professor Kako recover… …

And, I’ve explain it lightly but the feeling of being moved by this can only be taste by those who chase it. Even now, it’s not late yet so please watch the story line video uploaded by those who volunteer themselves.

Not only that, in video services provided by TV Tokyo, “Anitere” you can watch apps version story retelling called “Youkoso Japari Park”. KEMONO FRIENDS ANIME SHOCK (KF1)

All you park director who use the amulet and friendship to conquer the cellien and coarse user interface, those days has come to end.

Yes, the service is over.

But the application revenue become suffer more and more by 2015 and it’s not a weird condition for it to end anytime.

On 16 March 2016 they announce the game will be completely free, and from here then on for a year, the staff completely doing it just because of their love towards friends.

And after that with different medium they announced that there will be new development. Yes, Kemono Friends, anime version. Fans that has lost the apps version become really excited but at the same time they also feel worry.
First, the voice actress position get swap

Apps version Serval voiced by Nonaka Ai will be given to Ozaki Yuka. And the park guide who are with them in their previous journey gone; the one who responsible to voice this mysterious character called “Kaban” is Uchida Aya

Is this going to be fine? Every apps version player thought. And together with the summary announcement, their worry increase more.

The word in the summary is not “After that, the time passed”; it is “BUT, the time passed…” This means “There’s no doubt something wrong happened”. And that premonition turns into reality

Even if the voice actresses are the same, the Serval we see now is by just look is a different existence (Go check various key visual of Serval’s chest part, 2nd Season Serval has frill on her) and the previous Aardwolf got revived perfectly.

It means you can think that the timeline is after the alternation of generations of anime season 1

After that, Kaban separated with Serval and she doing research on sandstar and celium in the laboratory. Even though she sees glimpse of the Serval she knew on Serval who by now traveling together with Kyururu, she doesn’t make effort to involve with her.

We’re not sure what happened between those two but like something happened between Serval and Cerval, we must ready to accept that they separate because something that they can’t do anything about it.

“The lost of previous friends”

Every time new kemono friends product appear, it’s almost definite that the previous relation completely gone (destroyed). And on top of that corpse, new story begin.

With that glimpse, this move only left anger, sadness, and irrationality in lot of viewer.

“That kind of system can fuck off!”. I’m sure most reader have this same thought. Me too.

But, the moment we lost this “Kemono Friends” lost it’s qualification as Kemono Friends.

The Queen try to collect all the past and current sparkle and hope to create the world that can eternally be recreate.

The world where all good memory continue for eternity

The world where you can be with your friend forever

The world where you can meet again with something you lost

It’s an ideal world
But apps version player reject that notion. The reason are “There’s no future that they able to re-open the park and be together with Cerval”. From here now on unlimited possibility for hidden future doesn’t exist.

And in the end, before the apps version player stand “the future of the park crumble” and “The future that Serval and Cerval separated”.

And after that they get the future “Kaban and Serval meet”. And of course, that’s too are promised to be gone also.

It is definite that it’s not about “eternal current” but “the compensation chosen by the future”.
KEMONO FRIENDS, THAT IS, LIFE

This “promise” is so cruel. The more you experience it from the more previous product it becomes more cruel.

 KF1 especially (through nexon meta) deals with the lost of sparkle. Those who can’t stand that reality can only be calmed by “saving and repeatedly recreate KF1 for eternally”. In the end it’s pretty similar to give in to Celliens.

And then even after having through all of that, the despair continue.
That’s because this time product theme is “Someday it will gone”
I wonder how many fan can deal with that “ephemeral concept”

But think about it for a bit, isn’t this the same relation of that real human and animal?
